Andrew's sexy smirk and GQ body has Naomi thinking all sorts of naughty thoughts. Too bad Naomi is a virgin, and we all know men like Andrew don't waste their time on virgins. Staying away though proves harder than Naomi thought when they are both constantly running into each other. And when a case places them under the same roof, well, all sorts of tawdry things are bound to take place...
SO, today seems to be the day for less than impressive books...sigh. I didn't love this one. I ADORE this author, she is a fabulous writer, this one just missed the mark for me. I enjoyed Naomi, but found Andrew to be boring. He didn't come across as alpha in the least. They bored me as a couple. I didn't feel any spark and even the sex wasn't that interesting.
I am not ever sure how to explain it. Something just felt "off" about the whole relationship...

It's a short book. And for a short read there were too many descriptions of places, the case they're working on, things, emotions. It was really not necessary and put me off the story a bit. Those spaces could be used to build the relationship and sexual tension. I didn't connect with the MCs either. I didn't feel their chemistry and connection and sometimes I was bored. And the main reason to give this only 2 stars is something that irritates me so much in heroines: the inability to speak, form words, express yourself, defending herself. This heroine was handed speechless all the time. I don't like that. At all.

I should not have bought this book. I read the one prior, thinking maybe this could be a hot read. But sadly, I was far too thrown off by the lack of editing and it drove me crazy. I don't like to write negative reviews, I fret over it. But this is a lot more of a vent out of frustration than anything else.
A few examples:
The meet scene, which could have been cute - if it wasn't so inaccurate that it caused my OCD to go into overdrive.
"I take the paper drawers all the way out and stack them to the side. Looking up inside the innards of the machine, I think I can just see the bottom corner of a piece of paper in the rolling mechanism. I open up the door to expose the rest of the machine - POOF! Okay, apparently it's more than just a paper jam. I blink to the toner out of my eyes."
Okay, so you see my problem here is that copy machines that are nice - ones that fancy law firms would use, well... those have a separate place to put toner. And it's put in forward, the opening is inserted and when you open other doors, although there might be toner residue there - it's not going to explode into your face. And if you just DID get toner in your eye, you aren't going to flirt. You are going to stick your head under a faucet to clean out your eyes.
I know that is nit-picky. But you know what? This is stilling in the top 20 on Amazon right now. And it's a little frustrating because this book did not read like one that should be sitting there.
Then toss in...
"It's soft, barely audible, but a smile slowly spreads across his face, and then his mouth is on me again." I read that sentence ten times thinking I read the wrong word. Nope. We have smiles that whisper now.
So this is the deal. Although this short read had a lot of sex in it. It had nothing else. No development - no story with depth. And I get that sometimes we just want a dirty read to escape, but we should, as readers, still want a great story to accompany the sex.
Where did all authors go? When did picking books off the top 100 mean you were left utterly disappointed?
I need to stop impulse buying these hoping to find something new or different. It's all the same - no matter the book.

This one did not hold my interest like the others. I just didn't feel the love between Andrew and Naomi. He just wasn't possessive enough for me and she was just meh.

Penny Wylder gave us another hot and sexy read!
Andrew and Naomi are a great couple. They met when she started working at a law firm for her Uncle. They have t sneak because her uncle hates Andrew.
It was a short and sweet read. I love how Andrew never wavered in his feelings for Naomi. He had her back and supported her 100%.

Absolutely Amazing!!! I loved every bit and crevice of this book!! Naomi who has had a rough childhood meets Extremely, dominant alpha Andrew. Once he has set his sights on Naomi, nothing will stand in his way. With a whole lot of spontaneity on both their parts, you are in for a wild ride. Fast read that I couldn't put down. Penny Wylder has brought sexy back!! With a second epilogue that will leave you smiling and cheering for the mile high club. A Must Read!! Highly Recommended!!!

A hot short read, insta-lust story. The way H defends h from her uncle was sweet.

Another amazing book by Penny Wylder. I always love a story that has a happy ending. I loved the instant connection between Naomi and Andrew. Loved that Naomi had her doubts due to her uncle but in the end followed her heart. Great job

I am totally loving Penny Wylder but this one just didn't do it for me. Naomi is a singer/songwriter, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream. After being there a while, it didn't work out so she headed back home to Florida. When her parents died she lived with her dickhead Uncle Roger so that's where she went when she left LA. He told her he would help her as long as she gave up her music dreams and got a"real job". Her uncle is a partner in a law firm so she decided to become a paralegal. When she was done he got her a job with him as an intern. Uncle Roger is constantly bad mouthing another partner in his firm named Andrew Finch and he warns Naomi to stay far away from him. On her first day of work she's in the copy room making several copies that she must have done before an important meeting when the paper gets jammed. While trying to fix the copier she gets toner all over her face and shirt and when she turns around she sees a gorgeous man who turns out to be Andrew Finch.

ARC received in return for an honest review. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was to see this arrive on my kindle and it didn't disappoint, Naomi finds herself working as an intern at her Uncle's law firm where she meets his fellow colleague Andrew during a rather embarrassing moment well for her it is anyway, Andrew is one hot, sexy, dominant specimen of a man he's knows what he wants and when he wants it he gets it and it turns out he wants Naomi. Straight away the chemistry between them both is off the scale you could feel the heat between them and despite Naomi's Uncle trying his best to put doubts in her head she gives into her feelings when it comes to Andrew. This was a quick fast paced love story with some HOT steamy sex thrown in, Penny you've done it again another brilliant book.

Naomi is a virgin and thinks well Andrew is hot but my uncle told me to stay away so I can't risk losing my job. But what happens when Naomi finds out Andrew wants her too? Cute, sexy and some what funny story! I loved how the author really stayed true about how Naomi should feel ect.. I loved Andrew right to the point character. Naomi's uncle is a jerk and I'm glad it all ended up really good after everything! 5/5 stars sexy,perfect and couldn't put it down! I received this book for a unbiased review ❤️❤️❤️

Reading this is like having a quick snack just to appease the munchies.
Not bad. Simple predictable storyline. Young blushing heroine lost her virginity and her heart to a young handsome (of course!) lawyer who also happens to be her uncle's most hated person. All are working at the same law firm so they needed to keep it a secret.
The hero guy is just too good to be true. The girl's uncle is a typical overbearing jerk. Ending is everything falling into place.

I didn't hate nor loved it and there was minimal sex so if you want a plot, go for this one.

This was a super-quick erotica novella, based around the office romance theme. Although Wylder's writing style flowed well, I was actually a little disappointed. I don't mind an erotica novel with little plot, provided the erotica itself is extraordinarily steamy. But with this, there was maybe one scene overall which made me want to react to it. I just didn't feel the connection or chemistry between the characters, and the subplot wasn't quite interesting enough to grip my attention either.
This just didn't do it for me. I was hoping for a bit of a dirtier romp as I'm a huge fan of the office romance trope. I feel like, had this been made longer, there would have been opportunity for the characters to be developed a little, or even just to have had a little more filth in it. As it was, unfortunately I just found it too cutesy.

I didn't mind both the characters, Naomi was your typical heroine of this type of "virgin romance" books, I did think that Naomi should have been a bit more forceful with her uncle and not let him push her around, but that's just me since I like a strong heroine. Andrew sounded very hot but they didn't really feel connected to me, and their sex seemed mediocre,

I've fast come to love and adore the Dirty fixes that Penny produces that sexily and swiftly take me away from reality for a good hour. The drama is light, the scenes are over the top hot. All in all these quick dirty little reads are perfect!

Once again I'm in awe with Penny's work!! It's light spirited and at the same time so strong with hotness, it made me cry feeling sorry for Naomi life story and yet filled my heart with joy to see how Andrew, who I thought was just a player at first turned out to be ever the gentleman, but never leaving all that sexiness behind. They sure had a great time getting to know each other and did I reading it!!!!

Again a very sexy read written by Penny Wylder. If you want a gorgeous bookboyfriend don't look any further. Andrew will knock your socks off. Naomi is an intern at her uncle's law firm. When she meets Andrew for the very first time she finds herself in an awkward position. The instant chemistry is palpable.
I really enjoyed this story. Penny's writing style sucks you immediately in the story.

This book was just okay, not as good as the previous ones from Penny that I read.
While I enjoyed the story, I feel like the characters didn't connect with each other. Even though the sex was really hot I felt like there was no chemistry between them

I picked up this book because the previous book I read was hot, a quick read and had a scandalous plot. This story left a lot to be desired. There were a ton of sex scenes but the storyline and characters felt undeveloped.
If you're looking for a quick, raunchy read, then go for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother with it.
