This book talks about astronomy basics. Astronomy is one of my favourite part of science and in this book, it talked about constellations, the moon's phases and eclipses, the Milky Way, planets, stars, rings, etc. The book gave a lot of interesting yet useful facts, and there were detailed descriptions. A really nice book.

It's one of those books that every amateur/beginner astronomer needs to read. It has lots of images, interesting facts and useful drawings. Although I've read several books for the amateur astronomer, this one helped me understand some basic concepts. So for that, it gets a 4-star rating from me.
