Both of these books had good points and bad. The story itself was a bit over done. Good girl, bad boy; Girl trying to stay away but can't and then the drama begins. One thing that had me bothered was our female character falls for him and then when she is destroyed, she still won't let go. She watches him with other women and yet she tries to deny her feelings and deal. Obviously there is to be another and I may read it just to see how this ends.

Okay I like bad boy rockers and since this is book 2 it's improved way better than one.

I still am not all into Lourdes which sometimes her character comes off annoying to me.

Overall though it's abit of a drag but the story makes up for the sexy hot twins Diesel and Sevyn and to top it off I like some cliffy and it gave me one.

Definitely looking forward to Book 3 and hoping that Lourdes will draw me to in more.

Cliffhangers

So this one those books that leaves a cliffhanger. So if don't like cliffhangers don't start this series. This book is good at giving lot of drama and steamy scenes.

Diesel is so hurt when Lourdes pushes him away that he goes back to his manwhoring ways. When they are thrust back into each other’s company will she be able to get past what she thinks he has done. This second book had me on the edge of my seat and biting my finger nails.

I was really anxious to read this book after the shocking revelation at the end of Sex In Numbers. Creed of Redemption was totally worth the wait! I got the answers I wanted and a whole lot of other drama!

This book starts two months after the first one, where Lourdes agrees to go on tour with Sex in Numbers to work on a school related project. It's the first time she'll see Diesel after his betrayal. They tried to move on while they were apart, but seeing each other brings to the surface confusing emotions: need, heartbreak, anger, guilt and mostly jealousy. Diesel vowed himself to never open his heart again after losing Lourdes, but seeing her again is hard for his self control. In this novel he had his good moments but also his bad and sometimes I was just angry with his actions. He followed his head more than his heart and it brought a lot of tension between Lourdes and him. Trying to go back to his manwhore ways to forget about her was stupid while Lourdes could see everything happening before her eyes. I still loved that they tried to start fresh by being friends, but there was always their ever present underlying feelings that brought jealousy. I appreciated the sweet moments where Diesel took care of Lourdes. He wasn't indifferent to his actions hurting her. In this novel they have a long way to travel to make everything right between them but, they're on the right way. The sexy moments were still very hot between them, the chemistry intense!

Creed of Redemption brought a lot of answers, but still left me wanting more with another cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the conclusion of this series to see if Lourdes and Diesel will be able to chase their demons to be finally happy together!

This book picks up a few months after we last see Lourdes and Diesel in Sex in Numbers. After a secret destroys their happiness Lourdes and Diesel must come up with a way to move on . Can they be friends without letting their feelings from the past ruin it for them. What is this deep, dark secret that destroyed their happiness? Will there be a chance of redemption for them, or is the hurt and betrayal just too much to get past?

I've been impatiently waiting on this book since Sex in Numbers came out. I'm not even going to lie. I fell in love with these characters and story in Sex in Numbers, and just couldn't wait to see where their story goes next. I had to know what happened! There are so many amazing, strong characters, besides Lourdes and Diesel that bring another layer of depth and emotion to the story. The witty banter between the band mates, the bonds of friendship between, Lourdes, Lily, and Brook, and the bonds of family between the siblings, an amazing storyline, and you add in the OVER THE TOP HOT sex scenes, and you have the second book in a trilogy that I will read again and again. To be honest, I have already started the countdown to the next book in Lourdes and Diesel's story. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Watson and Mr. Dawson, because if these last two books are any indication, we have an amazing writing duo on their way straight to the top.

It’s two months later and Diesel and the guys are getting ready to go out on tour and Lourdes decides to take Xander up on his offer to tag along to gain experience in music journalism. Neither of them have gotten over the other, and seeing each other on the daily is breaking down both of their resolves. Their chemistry is still white hot, and you can’t help but pull for them. Diesel definitely shows his softer more vulnerable side with Lourdes and you just can’t help love that part of him. There were a few parts I wanted to throat punch Diesel for his thinking with his little head instead of his heart, but I was glad he was remorseful and felt guility for hurting Lourdes.

Overall I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first one. It’s a story full of drama, angst and steaminess. Fair warning…this book does end with another cliffhanger of sorts, that once again has me anxiously anticipating the final book and hoping Diesel and Lourdes get the happy ever after they both deserve.

My review is 3.5 - 4 stars - I do love the storyline and the fact that we have another cliffy !! The same thing happened to me when this book ended - I knew I was starting back in at 87% but I got so into reading that after he said those words... you know what I mean if you read it... I attempted to turn the page and BOOM it wouldn't turn , I was at 100% - OMG I hate that but I love it !! Diesel and Lourdes have had a tricky , rocky , rollercoaster ride. Sadly we are yet to get the peace for them we want , and they deserve. Yes despite the way Diesel can act I do adore him , the real him , the him that loves Lourdes , because that is very apparent. My issues came in form of some of Diesel's actions , I am not a prude but I think I have had enough of him spreading himself around and some of the cocky things he said made me shudder. As I said I adore him , I don't mind his cocky, rough and dominating ways when he is with Lourdes. I am just hoping that we can be done with him and any other chicks !! So between the good and the kind of bad I am enjoying this series and cannot wait for the ending. I am also wondering how things will go for Sevyn and the rest of the band ??

Its been a couple months since Lourdes walked or rather should I say ran out of the house after what she found out about Diesel.. Sucking it up and putting on her big girl panties she decides to take her Stepbrother up on his offer and go on tour with the band so she can get her behind the band book done ...
I loved how Diesel would show his softer side to Lourdes the side of him that no one sees.. or the side he doesn't show anyone...
I absolutely loved Diesel and Lourdes but at times I wanted to just strangle both of them... especially after the Ivy incident... (that's all Ill say about that) but then he redeems himself just a bit with the Brooke thing... (wont say anymore on that either)..
There is sooooooo much I want to say about this but I wont.. Ill leave you with this....

What will become of this, could they possibly move forward and come together or be at the very least friends?
Creed of Redemption holds many answers to questions unanswered in Sex In Numbers, but again I’m left with wanting to know more.
The secondary characters came to life more so in this instalment, they interacted and become more real than the previous book, which I found drew me more into the story and wanting to know more about them.
Lourdes is very much the woman waiting for him to see the light, at times my heart broke for her, yet other times I wanted to scream at her to get her shit together, kick him in the balls and be done.
But in saying that, I can’t wait for book 3 to be released, this story has me craving more!!

This book is so much more edited than the first one. Thank god for that. The first book was a struggle to read due to all the mistakes, but this one is a thousand times better in that regard.

The story is still good. I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop, but thankfully Lourdes and Diesel are working on getting back to where they were.

I couldn’t put this book down. I love Lourdes and Diesel. They’re great together, as long as Diesel doesn’t have his head up his ass.

And I can’t believe how blind Xander is. I mean, you’re on a tour bus that’s only so big and you don’t pick up that your friend and step sister are banging each other?

Thank god for editors, like I said earlier. This book was so much easier to read than the first. And now onwards to book 3!

Well on their way to achieving the fame and recognition that they so richly deserve, Diesel has reverted to his man-whoring ways, focusing solely on his music and on satisfying his sexual needs despite the fact that Xander has invited Lourdes along for part of the tour. And why wouldn't he? No one in the band has a clue about the hot and heated relationship that Diesel and Lourdes once shared and for the sake of the band, they are both determined to keep it that way. Obviously, she is not over him at all and her determination to pursue her own goals despite their painful history will be sorely tested as the tour continues.
Every single time that Diesel witnesses Lourdes's pain, it rips him open and he gives into his instincts to comfort her but that is only making matters worse. They can never go back to the way things were between them, and it's better for them both if they each just move on. Unfortunately this "thing" between the two of them will not be denied and inevitably they find themselves drawn back in.
The heartache and drama continue though as more than one woman from Diesel's past and present all try to lay claim to him, but he is having none of that! He's in charge and the sooner that they all figure that out the better. To make things even more complicated, the secret of Diesel's twin Sevyn, is out in the open now and the brothers finally come clean to Lourdes about the reasons behind their duplicity. Oddly enough, there is an attraction between Sevyn and Lourdes as well, or maybe that's not as strange as it sounds considering the fact that Sevyn and Diesel are identical!
How will this all play out...you'll have to read this story for yourself to find out!
On a personal note, I am the type of person who experiences jealousy...cubed, lol, so these stories keep me on an emotional tight-rope from beginning to end. I could not do what Lourdes does without losing my damn mind!

After book one left us on a cliff hanger I was looking forward to seeing how this was all going to play out.



The story of Lourdes and Diesel was complicated in book 1 and did not get any easier in book 2.
With plenty of steamy moments and that undeniable attraction between them, the past is bound to hold it all back.
I enjoyed where this book took us, the relationship between Lourdes and Diesel grew but was still secret.
That cliff-hanger, man I wasn’t expecting that.
Unfortunately the grammical errors ate what let this book down, yes it was an ARC but received only days prior to release I would have expected them to be corrected. They made for frustrating read given the same issue with book 1.

I'm so in love with this story! My best advice is to be patient with Diesel. There are times in this book you're going to think he's a jerk, but his mistakes and revelations will help you understand why he does the things he does. And there will be times when you won't be a fan of Lourdes either, but in the end, you can't help but hope they get their happily ever after. 

Beware of another epic cliffhanger with this one too! It's sooooo good!

The ups and downs...

I hate waiting for the end of a story but I made the mistake of starting book 1 and just couldn't stop. The cliffhanger in book 1 took me by complete surprise and I just had to know what was happening. I will willingly admit that Diesel is the definition of sexy and his dirty mouth makes me want to read more. For me though, Lourdes is the character I feel myself connecting with as the story progresses...the internal struggles, the insecurities, the fight to keep fighting...everything about her story pulls me in. Falling for the bad boy is something most women do and dealing with them is hard...watching her break for him is heartbreaking but at the same time their connection is undeniable. It's almost like they can't catch a break, but their secrecy won't even allow them to support each other! I'm impatiently waiting for the next book because I need to know where their journey goes...

Lourdes hasn't spoken to Diesel since she found out his secret. She hasn't given him a chance to tell his side. She joins Sex in Numbers on their tour so she can do a school project. Both still have feelings for each other. Even when they try to ignore the pull they can't. Diesel was a little harder this time, he's put up walls and is trying to forget about Lourdes. At times I wasn't really happy with him.

We do get a lot of answers for the things book one left us hanging with. This one definitely didn't leave us hanging as much as the first but it still left us hanging. I can't wait to read the next one to see what will happen next.

They aren't together after the big reveal of the fact that he has a twin and that they switch in and out of each other's lives. They are in the process of a plan to take over their father's business hence the switch play. Diesel is all kinds of complicated when one of his exes comes around and then there's Ivy. Doing all of this with Lordes still in his heart. She has a difficult time letting him go as well. Things start getting better between them when they hit another bump in the road. I can't wait to read more.

Strong 4-4.5 stars, aside from some editing issues! I F'N LOVED THIS BOOK! Diesel is a dirty, filthy rocker and I loved it! This book answered all the questions from the first one, but sadly created more. I was literally yelling at my kindle during the last couple pages. I'm really excited for the next book because I can't wait to see how all this ends especially with Sevyn involved. I loved so many scenes in this book, it was awesome!
