He was the kind of man her mama warned her about, workaday rancher Sophie B. Jones realized, as she looked up to find Sinclair Riker's unrelenting gaze on her. But resisting him was not an option, for though his words hinted at the darkness of his soul, his eyes spoke another message altogether - one that Sophie could not help but answer...
Sinclair knew better than to fall for an innocent like Sophie Jones. He knew that heartless seduction was supposed to be his stock-in-trade, and that he had come to the ranch with one purpose only - to do Sophie out of her beloved land, bu any means possible. So what was it about this woman that had him yearning for the purity of her soul? And could love really turn Sin...into Sophie's saint?

Okay this one didn't work for me. First of all the heroine wasn't that innocent but naive and she had no connection to Jones except the same surname. The romance was too insta, she sees the hero and asks to sleep with him. Yeah too insta everything.
This story was attached as a bonus book with another I wanted to read or I'd never have gotten it. The story was just awful - Sophie was an annoying twit. She and Sinclair had nothing in common and would burn out after a really short time; they'd never last as a couple. Their "big fight/break-up" was laughable. Sophie actually said we've been together 5 whole days and you'd lied the entire time. Seriously!?! And let's think about those 5 days - they had sex then separated in the daytime for work. It was not some huge, in-depth romance; they barely knew each other and had nothing in common. I was soooo happy when the book ended.
Simplistic hot steamy romance, rather unlikely, but so be it. From the girls part, love at first sight, despite red flags. From the guys part, her unrelenting love finally sways hi from his bad guy ways. And everything works out in the end.
Overall not a bad story, but it's quite predictable. The heroine is exactly the type of heroine I despise..the overly sweet, innocent woman who only sees the good in everyone even when their darkest secrets are revealed. The hero is your typical rich, tall, dark and handsome man with a wild past. She of course turns him around from his sinful ways. Oh and his name is Sin...short for Sinclair.
Sophie is innocent young lady who believes the good in everyone, enters Sinclair riker who under pretense befriends her without telling her he has come to reclaim the property she now's uses as her theater. The fast love is a bit unbelievable on sophies part but still an okay read.
Cute, at first I thought there was way too much dialogue, but then I got sucked into the story and had to see how it ended. The ending was quite short and I would have liked to see more of how they worked it out.
I enjoyed Sophie B. Jones and Sinclair's story. They have lived two very different life styles, yet they blended well. I like the characters and background story. I wanted a little more for the end. But a good read. Thank you.
