千葉市立総武高校二年生・比企谷八幡。
学校で心豊かにぼっちライフを楽しむはずが、学年一の完璧美少女・雪ノ下雪乃が主宰する「奉仕部」なる部活にムリヤリ入れられたせいで、八幡ライフは、どんどん本人の意志とは違う方向にずれていく。
クラスに出回る悪意のチェーンメール騒動でリア充から解決を頼まれたり、レース柄の黒いパンツをはいたツンツン少女の弟から、姉の行動で相談されたり…頼んでもいない厄介ごとを持ち込まれては、奔走するハメに。
トラブルメーカーにしてトラブルバスター・八幡の青春は、残念街道をただひたすらに、まっしぐらに!!

Still not wowing me, but enjoyable enough to read. I don't know if I like Hachiman's possibly hidden hopes for friendship being dashed so much. I mean he's usually being terrible/rejecting people in response to thinking they want to be friends but then it turns out he's not being included anyway. This loner problem seems to have started long ago and his take on it and dislike of "youth" is just self-defense at this point. I'll hold out hope for his redemption though. At least Saika likes him. :)

The story itself is endearing to me for its way of humor and real struggles of high school youth. Although, there was a small dose of fanservice, so I'd imagine it'd cater to more of the male kind. Other than that, the mangaka has once again embodied the story with excellent, shonen-like style art, and I'm hoping to get more story than service in the next volume.
Would recommend for anyone looking for a high-school slice-of-life/humor (and can overlook minor fanservice, if need be).

Holy crap, a main character with FLAWS.
Hachiman is so judgmental towards everyone in the series. But I don’t let it bother me. I know that there will be character development. He’s already changing. He’s made some friends (even if he doesn’t think so lol).

And ohhh Yukino “talking” to the cat… SO CUTE. She does have a “warm” side after all.

The story and characters are really endearing, but the fan service was turned up to 11 in this installment I stg.

I didn't like this quite as much as volume 1, but I still enjoyed it. Problems come to the Service Club, which may involve solving mysteries. That part I'll enjoy.
