Terrific!

This is the last book of the amazing London Harmony series and my favorite installment. All the characters have something special and are connected by music. Music plays an important role in this series. Each character has its own deficiency. So as unique looks, limitations or emotional scars. Despite that, they can definitely hold their own out there and they all have an endearing personality. I liked how the author does not emphasize their imperfection but rather emphasizes their strength. Each character has their own sad story but they all find their happiness. The London Harmony family, I’ve really grown fond of all of them and I'm definitely going to miss them.
I highly recommend this series.

Loved this, as I have every other LH book in the series. Well written and I cannot wait for more Paya books! :)

A beautiful ending to an epic series!

Flotilla tells the story of Angie and how she rises from her lowest point in life to someone she can be proud of, along the way she meets Steph who has endured a less then stellar life with an abusive spouse and has the visible markings to show for it, as well as two adorable little munchkins that are her world. Together they learn that the past is the past and that nothing in life is more important then the love of family whether it be by blood or not.

What better way to end this series then to hint at a spin off...

I can't wait to see what Mr. Schubach has in store for us next! Kudos on another fantastic book!

Great Addition

Loved it. Erik has a way of making his characters be a part of you, like family, I loved the quirkiness and humor of the story that keeps all the characters, past and present; alive. I liked the interactions between Angie and the "roos" as well as with Stephanie and Paya. Hoping to read more soon as I'm looking forward to a happy ending for Paya.

Read via Audible. My day was made when there was platypus goodness less than two minutes in. Another sweet love story without the major conflict towards the end of the story. Usually there is something that either causes a temporary rift between the pair or there is a bit of outside action that the pair must overcome in Mr. Schubach's stories. This one had neither. just a simple story of a couple falling for each other plus a nice bookend to the overarching story of June. It is fun how all the stories tie together while being an individual story in it's self. I have really enjoyed the Music of the soul series as well as the sequels / spin-offs.

Love these stories

The London miniseries follows an extended group of friends. I have fallen for them all. It is great to find an author whose books entertain, whose characters triumph, and stories that inspire.

I hope Paya gets her own story. She deserves it.

London Harmony: Flotilla by Erik Schubach is an amazing book. I am so sad it is the last in the LH series because I will miss the fleet of characters Eric has introduced in it. I hope they popup occasionally in Flotilla.

Flotilla follows Paya Dashi (known for "Hiya Paya" and "Yes mam or Yes Paya" in LH Water Gypsy) helping a homeless woman named Angie and even though Angie doesn't fully realize it, she gets helped. This is mostly Angie's story though Paya's story is also followed in smaller doses throughout. There is very little major happening in this book but there are a lot of things that make you love these characters especially Angie.. The ending is left open as the lead in to the new series Flotilla. I was slightly disappointed a certain LH character didn't tie the knot but hopefully that plot can cross over into Flotilla.

This book has little sexuality, some swearing (mostly British)

Grand end to the series

Erik goes beyond his normal romance and places us in the life of Angie. A broke, destitute woman that has pride issues that stop her until Paya out thinks her fear of asking for help and hires her to help move a woman, that Angie find attractive, to her new flat. The previous London Harmony characters make an appearance as Angie gets back on her feet and tries to figure out Stephanie.
Erik finishes off the book elegantly with a full circle. I expect to see Angie and Steph in the next books as they figure out their life.
On a side note, you may want to have a plumber on standby as my eyes sprung leaks at the situations Erik puts us in with a very well description, as if we, the readers, are there observing the entire situation.

Another great read

I love all three series connected to MOTS. There are characters I like a lot and some I don't like very much but all the books are well written, emotional, and moving. Each can be read individually but the depth of the world created through the series should be experienced. I was excited to read this book because I loved meeting Paya in Water Gypsy. We meet new characters in this book and continue to get to know some of my favorites through the new characters and their relationship.

Great story

I enjoyed this installment of the story. I read that this is the end of the London harmony series so I how that a new one starts so we get a look at the characters occasionally.

Loved this book.

Wow! Just great. It was great catching up with friends from the London Harmony series. Loved meeting the new characters. Hopefully we're starting a new Flotilla series. Yes? That would be wonderful. More music, no para normal.
