A Zodiac Dragon Series so hot it will scorch the pages.
Victor Kane followed his brother into battle against the Echo pack, but it wasn't his brother who brought him back. It was the one they called the lone wolf, the seer, the strange one--Odessa.

Victor's the second of twelve Guardians. Dragon-born in the sign of Aquarius, he carries all the traits of his sign--the good and the bad. He's the guarded one, the one with a cool head, the one his family turns to when all hell breaks loose--and his family needs him more than ever. His brother is missing. His family is torn. But his world is consumed by the wolf, Odessa. Why would she risk her life to save him? Why would she care?

Odessa is damaged from a demon's blade meant for Victor. Although he's safe, her demons still consume her. The evil she's done has come back to haunt her, and Odessa will not only have to fight to survive, she must also protect the one she loves. Her dragon--Victor.

Family. Honor. Love.
What happens when those three collide?
Who will be left standing?
Who will be left heartbroken?

I have been an avid reader for longer than I can remember, desiring the darker, edgier works of Bram Stoker, Stephen King, Dean Koontz. I first started writing in High School giving that away when my first attempt was nothing more than dribble. I wish now that I kept at it, pursued it with a hunger that I currently possess.

Writing is my passion, it is what fuels the fires inside of me and it is an all-or-nothing furnace that keeps me up at all hours.

I am married to a wonderful supportive husband, I have 2 wonderful kids and the best friends that I have waited some 35 odd years to meet.

I failed her. 5 BLUE ZODIACS

This wolf saved me and I’d failed her. I was supposed to be the Guardian. I was supposed to be the protector. We once had purpose; we once had a reason to live. HOLY ZODIAC DRAGONS! WHAT AN ABSO-AQUARIUS-LUTELY PHENOMENAL BOOK!! Right from the start I was completely immersed in the story, enthralled, held tightly, but carefully, in its claws straight through to The End! I was so excited when I found out this book was going to focus on Odessa because for whatever reason, she captured my attention & piqued my curiosity! But by the time I was on about page 2 or 3 of her first chapter, she had my heart, my sympathy, my admiration, my pride even, and my love! And all of that strengthened throughout! As for Victor... well! Victor brought out a lot of the same feelings, with different degrees of course, as well as for different reasons, but I most loved his Knight in Blue Scaled Armour trait! But as to WHY that is, you will have to read this for yourself! wink This book picks up EXACTLY where the last one left us! Can you just imagine how ZODIACELICIOUS it will be to read this series in its ENTIRETY FROM BOOK 1 TO BOOK 12 (I AM HOPING) ONE AFTER THE OTHER, AFTER THE OTHER UNTIL THERE ISN'T ANYMORE TO READ!?! SQUEEEEEE I am shaking, panting and leaking just thinking it!!! THAT is how much I love, Love, LOVE this series so far!!!!! As powerful as the first book is, I didn't expect, didn't think it would be PAWSSIBLE to top it, but this book does and in EVERY DRAGONTASTICAL way possible! Having the story told in first person, combined with Kim's astronomical talent, true gift and her enriching, shadowy dark & FURRIFIC writing style, had me connected to Odessa & Victor in ways that are too hard to explain, to define even, but it affected me soul deep, wringing me emotionally dry and filling my heart beyond capacity! I cried more times than I can count, but smiled just as much too! Having been granted the endless pleasure of being able to read books 1 & 2 together without any of that pesky waiting on it to be released, and no matter how much I love Taurus, I can see & feel the increased strength, passion, force and PAWER behind the words, behind the characters, as well as the difference between the books and the stories they are telling. I can now see that Taurus had a major dual purpose – tell Marcus & Abrial’s story AND set up the rest of the series! So even though Marcus & Abrial got their story, their romance if you will (trust me! It is much, MUCH more intense than “just” a romance!), it was also all about establishing everything - the characters, the world they live in, the various types of species, as well as the histories of the Guardians, the shifters, their worlds even, giving us everything we need, when we need it so we aren't bombarded & overwhelmed with everything! But with Aquarius, we get more story, more exploration of the characters, more focus on Odessa & Victor and how they are interconnected, WHY Odessa and Victor are protective of each other even though they have barely even met, why they have this connection, and more! Having this book shift gears means more focus on the power, magic, friends, family, love and the value of it all. It’s like the stars aligned in the universe to bring Wolf and Dragon together, regardless if it is what each other needs, or even the world needs right now! With Kim’s talent being so immeasurable it’s off the Dragon scale, it’s IMPAWSSIBLE to NOT become attached to the characters, to live their story with them, even AS them, which of course deepens the ENTIRE reading experience! I wouldn’t change a thing! Nor could I ask for anything more! Except for more SHIFTACULAR books having already been released before I discovered them! wink Like Taurus before it, Aquarius consumed me wholly, utterly & completely - mind, body, spirit and soul, on every level, on every plane! I’m not going to give up on you. Do you hear me?

Wow this is a very powerful story of love. I really enjoyed reading this one. Victor a dragon shifter falls for Odessa the wolf who saved his life. Odessa has gone through hell in more ways than one so much pain in her life The Tormentor, Victor's dragon sees her as she is, accepts her and loves her

The ongoing war from Taurus book one continues and brother Zaduk gets stolen. Do they find him and is Odessa the key? So much going on in this story it keeps you rapidly reading and scrolling through to discover the answers to the questions that arise as you do so.

I will recommend this to all dragon and wolf shifter lovers who like romance, drama and action in their stories. I was given an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Aquarius: Guardians of the Stars II by Kim Faulks 5 Stars

This is book 2 of the Guardians of the Stars and I enjoyed this so much. I even liked it better than the first one Taurus. Odessa and Victor's story is very unique and heartwarming. I was so engrossed in the story that I didn't want it to end, sigh. Good thing there is 10 other signs to be read.

Victor's brother is missing. Odessa is the only one who can find him in the demon world. But at what cost? Both Odessa and Victor will embark on this journey alone, the family seems to have let him down. And his dragon is still absent inside. What will it take to bring Zadoc back? Will Odessa's lone wolf be the key to finding him and Victor's dragon.

Great Read, Very indepth and powerful with Odessa's dreams. Will keep you guessing till the very end who is behind all this madness and pain. It is not who you think it will be.

Recommend for PNR/YA of mature ages. You can definitely get lost in this book.

Received this book thru instaFreebie.com from the author. Thank you. Given a honest review for thanks.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I loved this book, I was anxiously waiting for it after the way book one ended the books have a very new look at Dragon shifters, wolves, demons and witches and I love the twist to the normal shifter genre.

Victor is so hot he was one of my favorites from the beginning and I love Odessa, she is amazing strong and protective of those she loves.

Zodac has been taken but Victor is torn between his family his honor and his love. This is a great book and series I highly recommend!!!

I cant believe I didn’t read these books earlier as I love Kim’s later books but I am also not normally a fan of book sets that have different characters as the main focus changing from book to book. That said I loved each of these books as the main storey runs and continues throughout but in each book a different set of characters are the main focus.
I have given each book and the series 4 stars as they are very good but not quite addictive enough to hit the 5 star mark – if 4.5 were an option then this is where I would be. Book 2 – Aquarius
This is Victor and Odessa’a storey and is worth 5 stars as its really brilliant. This is a darker storey line than book one and follows Odessa who is a lone wolf and Victor who has a primal need to protect her. Blamed for something she didn’t do and ostracised Odessa still trys to do the right thing but along the way she has to fight her demonds which victor helps with but he is forever changed by doing so. Again lots of twists and turns but a fabulous storey!!

I really, really, really tried this second book of the series as the plot is great and something I would have loved to read but the writer really needed an editor. There is some character development but needs more work, but my biggest problem with the series is that there isn't any descriptors of dialogue. You don't know who is talking the majority of the time. I might try again with a newer book from her as I've heard good things about the author, so hopefully this series is just a negative.

I rarely do not finish books. But I started this one because the first one was supposed to be the weakest of the series. And while I didn't like that one, I thought this one would be better. Alas, not so much. The lack of world building in the first one really made this one confusing and hard to follow. I didn't know what was happening and found that I really didn't care. So I stopped.

Victor is haunted, Odessa is as well. The idea is great, characters unique but chaos is reigning. Partly I suppose trying to show chaos in Odessa’s mind; mingling past and present, holding some of future in its claws. However the way it was written it was quite hard to hold onto story.

AQUARIUS(Guardians of the Stars II) by Kim Faulks

Victor Kane followed his brother into battle against the Echo pack, but it was the lone wolf, Odessa that brought him back not his brother.

Victor was born a dragon in the sign of Aquarius, his the second of twelve guardians. He carries all the traits of his sign, the good as the bad. His guarded, level headed, and the one everyone turns to when chaos erupts. His family now needs him for all those reasons, his brother has gone missing. But he not only has his brother on his mind but also the lone wolf that saved his life.

The war continues and Odessa is the only one who can find him in the demon world. But what will it cost? Victor and Odessa will take this journey alone, as others have let them down. Will they find Zadoc and bring him back? And is Odessa's lone wolf the key to unlocking Victor's dragon?

This was a really enjoyable read,. A really exciting and intriguing storyline. It's filled with drama, suspense, and action. The characters are captivating and really sweet. This author is so creative and has a great imagination. A very full and busy book with lots of twists and turns. I definitely recommend this book, and although it can be read as a standalone, I think you get a better feel of the story if you read this series in order. A very exciting read!

This book leaves off where Taurus ended, but picks up with Victor and Odessa's viewpoints. Victor knows there is good in Odessa when everyone else insists she is evil. Odessa is not evil. She is tormented and was brutally tortured. Her dragon is the only thing she has left to live for, especially when those she believes are her family turn against her. A powerful read.

The second book in the series really hits on many emotions. Victor and Odessa find themselves connected deeply and Victor is very protective of her. His brother is missing and many believe Odessa is the key to his rescue from the demons. She is willing to risk a great deal for Victor but this may be a risk she shouldn't take.

I respected Victor for taking a stand and protecting her from those who don't value her as they should. He really is dedicated to her after she saved his life. He really changes after the experience.

Odessa's past is haunting. It is hard to believe anyone would treat a young child like she was in order to further their goals. I really connected with her and felt so sad for all her suffering. She really wants to be part of a family and she has been rejected as evil for so long.

I would recommend reading the books in order. There is a lot of events that happened before the book that set the course of action. There are many surprises and more to come. I look forward to reading the next book.

They were dark times for shifters, especially the young, even humans had to beware. Packs have to hide, run and go hungry. Humans for the vampires, children for the demons and young shifter girls for the sadistic Alpha who makes it possible. Now after thousands of years The Guardians are awakening after discovering this horrific reality, but will they be able to correct this wrong done after thousands of years?

Victor Cane born under the sign of Aquarius (The Tormentor) weeps rain, thunders when angry, he is able to control water. When he is saved from death by the lone wolf he is consumed by her sacrifice and swears to protect her even from his siblings.

Odessa is a real lone wolf, always avoided by all, but Victor has been in her dreams since she can remember and he awkens the lone wolf she so desperetly keeps on a leash. Will Victor and Odessa's love be sufficient to keep death away from the world.

Such a complicated battle is approaching and this series only gets better as each Guardian's beast awakens

This is the second book in the series, and was just as interesting as the first. I really like the Kane brothers, and am enjoying seeing them each get their own stories. Victor is a really great character, and I love how he is with Odessa. I also really like Odessa. Yes, she's damaged, but she's still a really good character, and I liked how she had saved Victor at the end of the last book. I was really happy to see that their story was next, and I was happy with where things left off. There's still some questions, but Victor and Odessa were together, and that's the important thing. I was also really happy to see Marcus and Abrial (from the first book) make appearances. I hope that we eventually see all of all of them get a good HEA.

This is the second story of the Dragon Guardians of the Stars, they are named after their birth signs and Victor takes after his Aquarius, level headed, methodical to a fault. Odessa is the werewolf seer who saves his life, but he can't figure out why and while he should be figuring out how to find his missing brother from book one, he is instead wrapped up in thoughts of Odessa and helping her fight her demons that have come to the forefront, since she took the stabbing from the blade meant for him. Will she survive ? Will her pack survive ? Can Victor save his brother ? All questions whose answers come in this 5☆ book by Kim Faulks.I l9ved every hard hitting, twisty, turvy, sexy heated minute of this book. I recieved a gifted copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

The first book left off with the huge battle Echo Pack vs. the small pack shifters and the zodiac dragons.

Victor is the second born dragon shifter under the Aquarius sign. In an effort to save his brother Zadoc he faced down a demon in battle almost losing his life.

Odessa is a lone wolf and a seer; she could not let the demon kill Victor. In an effort to save Victor, she takes the damage from a demons blade.

Victor has two missions save his brother Zadoc and protect Odessa.

This is the second book in the zodiac dragons. This book could be read as a standalone. However, I think you get a little more from the story line by reading the first. There is lots of action and twists to the story. It keeps you guessing until the end. I am looking forward to book three!

Odessa saves Victor from the demon, but is just the beginning of their battle. In this second book of the battle of vampires and demons against the dragons and the wolves, things are not always what they seem. "Some of us are just born with tragedy in our blood." Victor has his own battles to fight and he was not prepared after all these years of denying himself and his dragon. Good thing his dragon has been getting ready without him. The Tormentor has been helping Odessa all along in the dark, so he is ready when Odessa needs them both. "You think I'm a breathtaking were devil?" Enjoy! Victor, the second of the Guardian Dragons was saved by Odessa the lone wolf and in doing that she revealed her dark side to everyone to see and fear. The forces of evil coveted her powers and would not stop until they own her. But Odessa had the clue to save the missing dragon brother. Victor knew she was his to love and protect even from his family. This story is full of intrigue, suspense, despair, betrayal, sacrifice and love. Suffered through some narrations and experimented joy with others. Many good and bad emotions that made me read eagerly because I wanted to know the mystery surrounding Odessa. It’s amazing how the authors write scenes so vivid. Very interesting story.

Brilliant I'm liking the Dragons :)

The Kane Family - (12 Dragon shifters) have been pulled into the fight.
Each book follows a different family member, book 2 is all about Victor Kane (Aquarius).

A very busy book full of nail biting scenes as the battle between the shifters and paranormal worlds collide. In between the chaos Victor connects with, the lone wolf Odessa. Odessa put her life on the line as she tries to save Victor from a Demon's Blade.
A deep emotional pull brings the Wolf & Dragon closer as he stays next to her bed willing her to wake.

This is the second book in the series and I really enjoyed it. There is suspense, adventure and romance through out the book.Victor is a dragon and Odessa is a wolf that has a dark side, but they love each other. Victors family need Odessa to rescue their brother that was taken hostage by a demon, The demon wants to exchange the brother for Odessa. The biggest issue is that Odessa would have to die to cross over into the demon world. Victor wants to protect her so they run to get away knowing his family will hunt them down to get Odessa.. This story has wolves, dragons, demons, witches, mages, and a lot of excitement.
