Book of Stones – Third book in the Sorcerer’s Stone Trilogy – Published 1993 – Maybe should have started with book one of the trilogy but I didn’t. Gosney, the Red King’s Defender, is forced to choose between a beautiful women and his king. He is given the Book of Stones and learns to be a sorcerer as the book moves along. The book started well developing good anticipation for the read but bogged down about a third of the way through. Not enough action and too much romance for my tastes. Okay if you don’t have anything else handy to read.
