This is the third book in the "Disinherited" series. This book takes place 15 years after the events in book two,"Legacy". In book two our heroes traveled back in time to the time of King Arthur, also known as Artorius Riothamus. While there they inadvertently caused an alternate timeline to form. In the new timeline scientific progress is slowed to such an extent that in this timeline the human race is conquered and enslaved by the Korvaasha. The humans from the far future take our heroes into this alternate timeline in order to arrange events so that it will have a brighter future which will mean defeating the Korvaasha and stop the enslavement of man in this timeline. A very good read.

very well written

Most of this book takes place in history circa late 400s. Many of the people are based on real historical figures and I found my self, on occasion, googling places and names in both the Roman and holy Roman empires to learn the actual history.

This is the third book in a series, and I haven't read the other two. I like what Steve White did with the story, action, characters.
