Yeah…I didn’t like that this fella came along and destroyed the ruling government in multiple countries because he just felt like it. And for him to think he was a god? What a joke.

This book was about Alexander the Great and how he was the king of Macedonia or Ancient Greece. And is considered one of the greatest military commanders in history.

This book would be great for older kids, like 4th or 5th graders especially if you are trying to get them use to textbook work. The illustrations are awesome at tell you what’s happening even without the words. But for smaller kids reading this to them would go straight over their heads!

As a class activity, I would probably read this book as an intro to either Greece or Macedonia! And during reading, I would have the kids jot down the war names and dates. And then as a class have them design a map and have all the war locations on it!!
