This is a wonderful read! For one, I don't even know there will ever be a woman this generous to share her love, and brave enough to let go.

Ok, first what I didn't like: That the end came at first. We all know what will happen with Joanna after the epilogue and so the little hints in the first chapters about 'finding the right woman' don't make the reader ask: why does she want to find a perfect woman?? but are just annoying. If there wouldn't have been the epilogue it may have been mysterious and interesting.

Second, things are said over and over again too often. How much Joanna loves Josh, how much she like April, how much April likes Joanna and Josh. How bad Christina is... Bla bla, once or twice would have been enough, but Judith Gould really really wanted to make it clear who likes whom and who is the bad one.
But I'm sure most readers understand it the first time said.

I also didn't really understand why Rossi actually married the woman (don't want to spoil and say which one) at the end. She was of no use anymore, and he does not seem to have a heart and marry someone out of love. Or am I wrong here??

Besides these things it was a nice book. Sad, but with a positive outlook at the end so that you're not too depressed after finishing it.
The idea and storyline of the book was good, just the way it was written did not suit me.

Found this story quite captivating from beginning to end. Took awhile until I actuallly got the storyline which quite enjoyable instead of the "knowing what's going to happen before it happens". Quite a beautiful story. Keen to look into other books by Judith Gould

I got to page 49 and had to put down this book. It is TOO much of a soap opera. I can already predict the secondary plot lines in this book. The description of the main plot sounded interesting and heart-warming as well as heart-wrenching, but I don’t want to wade through the soap-opera drama for that. Just not my style of book

Boring story line/trite/poorly written

I wasn't sure about this book when I first started reading it. It begins with the epilogue, since I have read many of Judith Gould's books and have enjoyed them I stayed with it. Definitely not one of my favorites but it is worth reading. You will fall in love with Josh and Joanna. I like the way Ms. Gould develops her characters. This particular book is a tearjerker. Not a book with a lot of depth, but a fast, interesting read. Judith Gould writes some steamy sex scenes, so if this is not your kind of read, just a warning.

I found this book hard to get into. it was about mid way through the book before I was interested in the characters enough to read through to the end in anticipation.
