Having crashed into the sewers Iruma and the Dolly he challenged to avenge his friend Mattsun are both really enjoying the battle but with Trial and Error around and Iruma seriously hurt in the last volume it is time for a rescue whether he wants it or not. Meanwhile new hero for humanity Kyujin Namekata has joined the fray capable of not bypassing the barriers created by Dollies like Iruma but instead the ability to shatter the barriers capable of stopping all sorts of other weapons. He has his own plans but when his plans allow him to meet Kumano he takes her with him to finish his plan. Little do either of them know the US military has their own big plans and there is a Plushie nearby who is very interested in the unusual Kyujin.
Same great expressive artwork and detailed world filled with cute and creepy as the story continues to build up steam till we reach the explosive cliffhanger. :)
Namekata is the best character easily, he’s goofy but serious too. The fight with the rabbit is kind of cool. I’m more interested in that side of the story compared to our MCs side this volume. I don’t like that everyone questions if he’s human, even himself, it’s shoving it down our throats so it’s obvious he’s not or not anymore. The US getting involved is random but I feel like the US military getting involved is a trope I see a lot recently so 🤷🏻♂️

Overall Rating: 5/10 - This series was actually good, I loved it! It's a version of Attack on Titan, plushy edition!!!It doesn't seem to be a very talked about manga and it really is a shame. The story is not the most original one, but the fluffy, adorable doll like with sharp teeth were a joy to read and watch. Their on slaughter rampage is just delicious. Especially with those smiles. The murderous intent they showcased, even in the humans case, was magnificent. I can "dolly" out a 10 out of 10 for spot on artwork. The villains were my favourite part of the cast. Not that the human save the planet cast was terrible. The whole phantasm power will... I can't complain at this point but I was hoping there would be more in defeating the enemies then just phantasm kids... But whatever. The last two volumes fell a bit short. And rushed. As for the ending, I'll take a gander that it was cancelled... Maybe that's the reason for it's downfall. It's a shame. It was a delight to read...
Do I recommend it: It's good... it just gets stupid at the end... dragging... and well unfinished...
