This book is so helpful for teachers! It gives so many lessons for any sort of topic such as rainy days, colors, animals, holidays, and more. With each lesson, there are different options for morning circle, story circle, music and movement, and learning centers. I love this book because it gives you ideas on how to teach the topic to children with different learning styles and multiple intelligences. The book includes everything you need so all you need to do is make a copy of the worksheets.

I had really high expectations for this book, and it didn't quite make an overwhelming impression on me. I think that if I didn't know anything about multiple intelligences and learning styles that it would have. So, that being said, this would be a great book for those who are parents or starting in early childhood education.

An excellent resource for early childhood education providers, homeschoolers or stay-at-home parents who are into providing rich/fun educational activities for their toddlers and pre-schoolers. Also, not a bad resource for new children's librarians who plan storytimes! This book contains everything you need in a step-by-step curriculum including book suggestions, rhymes, fingerplays, patterns, stories, and more, plus instructions on how to make everything from puppets to puffy paint from scratch. I already have plans to use it extensively, now I want to *own* it!!

I liked a lot about this book. I liked the focus on multiple intelligences as that gave me a variety of ways to approach different learning opportunities. as a former teacher I liked the "curriculum" feel of the lessons, but as a mother a lot of lessons felt beyond our capacity.
