“I could definitely use a man in my life, it has been way too long. But he is, without a doubt, not what I am looking for. If only I could get past the sound of his voice, the way he looks standing in front of me all perfect and handsome, the way he kisses…”
Lisa Roberts is stuck on a stuffy rock tour bus with her sister’s husband, his friends, and his stupid little brother. It’s bad enough that she is harboring a serious crush on her brother-in-law, but when she discovers that young, fresh-faced, irritating Sam has a thing for her, it turns into a real drag.
Sean is kind, quiet, and gentle off stage, a smoking hot rock star on stage. He’s everything Lisa wants in a man, and he is completely taken. His little brother, Sam, on the other hand, is one of those talkative, optimistic, happy little punks that just gets on her nerves. But he does have the family good looks…
Romance and love catch Lisa by surprise. While she tries to save herself from falling, her sister and brother-in-law are pushing her over the edge!
Book 3 of the romantic comedy series 'Love on Tour' is another wild ride with Sean and Hank as they rock the world. This book is capable of being read as a standalone, but is best read after books 1 and 2.
Kay Harris is a college professor, former park ranger, and anthropologist. People observation is in her blood. She writes romance novels that emphasize character development and dialogue. They always contain a little bit of sweet, a dash of sexy, a touch of heartbreak, and a whole lot of fun! Kay grew up in Michigan, has since lived all over the west, including Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Nevada and California.
Lisa Roberts is still getting used to the fact that her park ranger sister, Baby, has married a rock star. With Lisa having a crush on her sister’s husband, Sean, she is put into a precarious situation when Baby asks Lisa to accompany Sean on his next rock tour, as Baby needs to stay at home with her newborn, Henry, named after Sean’s best friend and touring partner. When the paparazzi question the paternity of Sean and Baby’s child due to adult-Henry’s close relationship with the couple, Sean’s older brother, Sam, steps up and agrees to take a blood test to prove baby-Henry’s paternity. Lisa doesn’t think much of Sam and rejects all of his sexual advances, especially since he had tried to blackmail her into going on a date with him. Sam is the last person in the world that Lisa would ever get involved with. But after they are trapped in a locked stairwell together and Lisa’s claustrophobia goes into overdrive, she hooks up with Sam in the spur of the moment, hoping to distract herself until they are rescued. Suddenly, Lisa’s attentions have shifted from Sean to his younger brother, Sam, and she is determined not to act on her attraction towards him, but a sudden curveball throws her into his arms and now Lisa needs to decide whether the nightmare of the paparazzi and the constant touring is a future she wants to have, especially since the media watch her sister’s every single move.
I definitely have to take my hat off to Kay Harris. Lisa’s journey and struggle with love is difficult, humorous and filled with adventure and surprises. Seeing first-hand what her sister goes through with the media, the fans and the ex-girlfriends of the band, the reality of what Lisa had once thought of as the perfect life ends up swaying her from wanting the same for herself. Sam’s desperation in trying to have a date with Lisa initially ends disastrously, as he had tried to blackmail her which immediately led her to think that he was not only underhanded and conniving, but also not serious about any sort of relationship. I liked that Lisa saw a lot of Sean’s physical traits within Sam, yet could easily set Sean and Sam apart by the way they treat women. Fame most definitely has its downside and Lisa witnessed Sean, Baby and Henry all being hammered in the media, with sensational stories being printed to try and break up a happy home, but seeing Sam step up and face his own fears in order to get his brother out of the tabloid nonsense that had arisen showed him to be a true champion, protecting those he loves with everything he has. I very much enjoyed You Got To Me and cannot wait to read the fourth book in the Love on Tour Series, which will appeal to all those who love a great comedy-romance tinged with realism and drama, allowing the reader to see how the other half live.
I read this book through Kindle Unlimited. This is book three in the series. This is Sam who is Seans younger brother and Lisa "baby's" older sisters story. This review contains mild spoilers.
Lisa has been divorced for 4 years, she is 34 and Baby asks her to go on tour with the bands for the summer while she is home with baby Henry. Sam, 28 is now the tour manager and has had a crush on Lisa since Sean and Babys wedding. She totally isn't into him for the first week of the tour even though he persists. She finally gives in in a stairwell they get trapped in and they decide they can have a sex only relationship for the duration of the tour. Hank and Bell become engaged.
During the tour they fall for each other completely even though she fights it. She has a thing about being older than him and not being able to have children. She feels he is young and being rich he can have a better life. She ends things when the tour ends even though he tells her he loves her and he knows she loves him back. Once they are home she finds out she is pregnant. When she tells him he is thrilled. There is a nice epilogue where they get married while she is in labor. We also find out Hank and Bell are married and she is pregnant.
Can you say massive BI##H???? That's the only description for Lisa in the beginning of this story. So much so that I almost stopped reading at Chapter 8 and guess what, I wish I had. She remained horrible throughout the book and Sam was so good. Lisa was bitter, judgemental, hateful and just not likeable. She didn't have a reason to behave like an ass. She had a good childhood, great career but no friends. Sam deserved much better.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review." for reading deals.I really did not like Lisa. She was not really a nice person, and I was kind of grossed out at the fact that she had a crush on her sisters husband. Nasty. Was suprised that Sam did not just give up on her, but then we wouldn't have a story. Loved the rest of the characters. Sean was awesome, as well as her sister. Eventually Lisa does give Sam a chance and then we have a real story.
I'm really enjoying these stories, they're definitely short and definitely no stand alones. Having the characters continue on in each story keeps the interest going as you get learn how their lives progress.
It was great to see everyone again, but as much as I loved Sam, I could not stop being annoyed by Lisa. She was just mean to him, and I’m pretty sure if the roles had been reversed, a male version of her would be intolerable.
Quick read. This series is getting too formulaic though. Sam is a sweetheart, heart on his sleeve. Lisa is bitter and pretty hateful for most of the book. Sam could have done better.
Sam and Lisa's book is a great story to continue the Love on Tour books. Didn't see it coming, though, that she'd marry her sisters brother-in-law. Can't wait to read more of all the couples!

Thank you Kay Harris for another great book in this series "Love On Tour". I love Sam! He is such a wonderful man. He is crazy about Baby's sister, Lisa. Lisa is older and not interested. She actually has a crush on her brother in law, Sean that she feels guilty about. As she tours with the whole gang because Baby is staying home with the baby, Henry Michael she gets to know Sam better. This is a good book. The author has done a great job on all 3 books so I am excited about the next book.
Another great book by Kay Harris. I was afraid to buy this book, I thought it was going to be about a sister against sister. I was glad that it was nothing like that. I love how the whole story came together about family and how you stick together. I can't wait for another book. I need more!!!
I loved all three books in the series. I love to wait until a series is complete before reading a new one. I loved following each romance bloom and flourish. Great story line. There needs to be one about Mike,he's an important character in the series and should find live too. Think about it.
This is the 3rd book by Kay Harris that I have read. So much fun to see the story progress and see how the characters develop. Sam is quite possibly my new favorite character, and I really like Lisa too. Very impressed with Kay Harris and will continue to read anything she writes.
You Got To Me really did!! This is my favorite of the three in the Love on Tour Series. I really hope for a book 4 as I would love to keep reading about the entire gang. If you haven't read this series, get started!
I love this series. We not only get a new love story, but updates on the couple's from the previous books. It is a series that I never want to see end. I am thrilled to find that another book is to come. I hope that eventually we get Mikes' story.
I enjoyed this series so much plus it really funny. Kay Harris takes you behind the scene of a tour. You get to see the person beneath the rockstar image and the difficulties that go along with life in the spotlight. I highly recommend this series.
Sam and Lisa's story is filled with ups and downs, in and out (sexual pun intended) and side to side. It was a well written story with all the drama you could want. Have fun reading this.
I wasn't sure if I'd like it since I didn't know a lot about the sibs of the main characters but I have to say it was great. I liked it as much as the first two.
