High Speed Holiday, the final book in Katy Lee's Roads To Danger series, was a good read and satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed getting to know Luke Spencer, his story and what he had been through.
I also thought the suspense was good and I loved that the other Spencers were in this story. But, there was just something about the book that I didn't love as much as the first two books...it might just have been me and the time that I read the book.
Still, it was a very good story and I did enjoy it a lot. I recommend the series if you enjoy romantic suspense. I can't wait for Katy's next book!

I have loved every book in the Roads to Danger series. The racetrack background, family secrets and captivating suspense has carried through in every single book. That doesn't mean you need to read all the books in order to enjoy this one, but they are so good I think you really should. :-)
Sylvie is the tough as nails newly minted police chief who Ian doesn't want working his case. Love it when a hero and heroine butt heads from the get go. He's a wee bit surly and has a real chip on his shoulder -- can we all say 'brooding hero' in a collective sigh? Bliss. But the romance has to simmer on the back burner (and simmer it does - insert fanning smilie here) while Sylvie and Ian dodge bullets, race ski-doos and generally create mayhem as they try to find the villainous mastermind out to get them. Uber great conclusion to an awesome series.

The last book in the Spencer family's series concerns the youngest brother, Luke, who was abducted from the crash site where his parents died and grew up as Ian Stone. He doesn't have a very high opinion of himself, as he has very severe dyslexia and never did well in school. But the characterization is subtle, and it's easy to see what a true hero he is at heart. I also really liked Sylvie and her determination to look out for her town and her son, even when that put her in peril.

When Ian Stone finds out his true identity he heads for Norcastle, New Hampshire to claim what is rightfully his, as Luke Spencer. But shortly after his arrival he finds himself being shot at and thinks it’s his siblings (Wade and Roni) not wanting him to have his inheritance. Sylvie Laurent, Police Chief of Norcastle, is convinced that Wade and Roni would not try to kill him. As they work together to unravel the mystery of who the shooter is, both Ian and Sylvie find themselves not only protecting each other but also discovering they have a very strong attraction. What they finally discover is more than they bargained for. Can they stay alive long enough to take down the bad guy and perhaps experience the Merriest Christmas Ever?
High Speed Holiday is certainly an appropriate title for this book, because from beginning to end you are definitely moving at high speed! I enjoyed going back to Norcastle and seeing all the familiar folks once again. I loved meeting Ian (Luke). He is such a great hero yet realistically flawed, which to me, made him all the more appealing. Sylvie was harder for me to like. She’s tough and very principled which came across as being kinda of cold. She did grow on me and I think Ian was a good influence on her. I loved the chemistry Ian and Sylvie had together. The verse at the beginning of the book was really brought to life throughout the story. It was Genesis 50:20 “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” A great reminder that regardless of what we might think, God is working all things together for good, so hang in there. This is the third book in the Roads to Danger series but can be read as a stand alone. Katy Lee is a favorite author who consistently delivers a page-turning adventure with an uplifting message.

High Speed Holiday: Roads to Danger series by Katy Lee. This is a Love Inspired Suspense by Harlequin. It is a great book to read for fun. It keeps your interest and is fun to read.
Ian Stone had a hard life and parents who didn’t know how to help his dyslexia so he grew up illiterate. He was working in construction and living in a trailer on the lot when he was located by Michael who worked for the CIA. Michael did blood work which proved he was really Luke Spencer. He and his family had been in a car accident when he was just a baby. His parents died but his brother and sister managed to get out of the car before it burned. Everyone assumed for years that Luke had died in the car. When information came out that he hadn’t been in the car when it burned, the Spencers had been inundated with imposters claiming to be Luke. Ian had come to Norcastle to claim his inheritance and leave. He didn’t want a family. However, the first thing that happens to him when he gets to Norcastle was to get shot. Is someone out to get him?
Police Chief Sylvie Laurent spotted Ian when he got to the racetrack. He looked and acted suspiciously so she followed him. As she was about to approach him, the race in which her son was racing began so she turned her attention to Jaxon. This is the third book in the Roads to Danger Series. I always love Katy's book and I have really enjoyed this series. This book is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. You'll love her characters and enjoy visiting some of the ones from the first two books. I'm sure you will enjoy this story.

Ian has a hard time believing that what the man said is true and that he is to inherit a small fortune. He comes to Norcastle to check out his so called family and get his money. No sooner does he get to town when someone tries to kill him. The chief of police intervenes to protect him. How can he convince this police chief his siblings are after him?
Chief of Police Sylvie Laurent is a single mother. She has worked hard to become the chief of police although she is still on probation. She doesn't believe the Spencers are trying to harm Ian. The third book in the Roads to Kill series was pretty good with Luke Spencer finally coming home to get what he deserves, except no one wants him back in Norcastle. When he tries to approach his sister he is shot and that’s when Sylvie Laurent chief of police witnesses the incident. From that moment on she’s unwilling to leave his side until she can figure out who’s behind the shooting even when things go completely wrong. Will Sylvie be able to keep Luke alive long enough to have the family he’s always wanted and will she be included?

High Speed Holiday is the conclusion to the Roads to Danger series by Kate Lee. The Spencer’s have discovered that their baby brother survived the car crash that killed their parents. Because of the large inheritance, several men have come forward to say they are the brother. Ian/Luke is a construction worker and finds out that he may be the long lost brother. He arrives in town and get almost immediately is shot at. He thinks it is the siblings trying to keep him from his inheritance. Chief of Police, Sylvie, doesn’t believe her friends would do that so she sets out to protect him and find the real shooters. I loved that this story was about Sylvie. She was a single mom with a teenage boy. There are some great scenes with her and her son, Jaxon. Wade and Roni, the siblings each have had their own book and play a role in this one. You can read it as a stand-alone but I highly recommend reading them in order.
There is a lot of action, a faith element and a sweet romance.

I loved every book in the Roads to Danger series. Each book can be read as a standalone, with no cliffhangers. I wished there were more books to read in this series. Not sure what to read now, that will even compare. This book was action packed, with suspense, romance, and family moment’s that made me smile.
Sylvie and her son had a deal that they didn’t need anyone else. She was the Police caption. Her whole life is serving her community, while being a single mother. She was a good Captain, never afraid to run into danger. At first, we thought someone was after Ian Spencer. She was there to protect him from the bullet’s that kept flying. As the book progressed, we realized she was the target. This was an awesome book that was hard to put down.

I’ve been wondering about the third Spencer sibling. You know, the one who disappeared as a baby.
His disappearance was arranged by some one close enough to the Spencer family to sell them out. Now it looks as if someone is trying to kill him and he thinks it’s one of the Spencers.
But things aren’t always as they appear.
This book is a stand alone read, but it will mean more to you if you read Silent Night Pursuit and Blindsided to get some background on the Spencer family.

This book is the 3rd story in a series. Someone took Luke out of a burning car. Others thought he was dead. His brother and sister were rescued but the sister is badly burned. When Luke returns, there are attempts on his life and he blames his siblings for trying to kill him. The local police officer doesn't believe that his siblings are guilty.
It really doesn't matter too much which order you read these books. I read them out of order and still enjoyed each one.

This is the 2nd book I read by Katy Lee. I enjoyed book's storyline. I really liked the Christian theme in this story. I really liked Sylvie's character. I loved ❤ Sylvie's toughness in this story. I really liked Ian's character. I really liked the ending.

Someone is trying to kill Ian Stone, and police chief Sylvie Laurent is determined she is going to protect him. There is a lot of action in this novel to hold the reader's attention. It was interesting to see how Ian compensated for his dyslexia by listening to his recorder.

I enjoyed all three books in this trilogy, but this one was my favorite. Luke and Sylvie were awesome characters, and the plot and suspense were top notch.
