A reporter and the thief he's investigating both fall for a golden dancer forging a ménage of love and lies that could send one to prison and one to the morgue.

Mac MacAllister is obsessed; the online news reporter needs enough evidence to write a story accusing billionaire art collector Daniel Terrebone of stealing The Golden Dancer, a priceless work of art, from Horst Von Berg. The story promises the recognition Mac craves. But then Mac meets a real golden dancer, ballet star Trelain Medveyev, and his attraction to the man rocks his formerly straight world.

When the mysterious Terrebone "collects" this beautiful dancer, too, Mac rushes to the rescue like a knight in shining cargo pants and plunges into a three-way passion that tears him between love and guilt. Can Mac keep investigating when his story could send one man to prison and another to the morgue? Will this reporter get his story or get his men?

Always a sucker for a ménage.

This review was originally written for The Romance Reviews and can also be found there.

Surprisingly enough, ménages do it for me. This one more than did it. The perfect combination of steamy sex scenes, character vulnerability and mysterious background story just sucked me right in. I'm not lying when I say I hardly took a break and genuinely enjoyed every sentence in this complex tale of self-discovery, surrender and love.

It all starts with Mac chasing a story. THE GOLDEN DANCER has been stolen and the prime suspect is the billionaire Daniel Terrebone. Mac thinks he's on to something and as much as he dislikes the owner who's been robbed, his curiosity for the story is much stronger. He is set on exposing the billionaire as the thief.

Then another story comes in, one Mac shouldn't have gotten but is more than willing to write. Trelain is a real, flesh and blood dancer, a graceful star, winning the adoration of every crowd he performs in front of. Trelain can dance, and ballet happens to be very close to Mac's heart.

But Daniel doesn't just collect art, and Trelain has both eyes as well as great appreciation for beauty. Running to the rescue has Mac falling into all kinds of lust charged situations, and before he knows it, covering a story gets all kinds of additional meanings.

From simple infatuation to full out realization, Mac's life flips in a mere blink of an eye, and instead of just day dreaming about steel thighs and golden hair, he finds himself expecting that strong arm on his shoulder and the irresistible sound of begging.

I'm sure not everyone will like this story. For one it's extremely sexually charged and the guys certainly don't lack any imagination when it comes to experimentation. The whole theft thing was done nicely, but for people expecting a lot of explanations and detailed descriptions, it will probably be a disappointment. The author focuses more on the love story, the building relationship, conflicting emotions and the strings connecting the three men together.

In every way, I approved of that approach. I loved the excessive sex, the emotional sides which came out in just the right moments, and those sugar coated sentences of affection simply did me in. I liked the idea of the theft and thought it a great starting point, and a rather good conflict later on, but did I expect details about it? Not at all. I wanted a romance and a romance I got. It only had three hunks instead of two and that made it pretty much impossible to wipe the smile off my face.

Tara Lain knows how to write her men, breathe life into them and give them just the right amount of sensitivity without making them a weeping mess. They are funny, sensual and endearing, the same as her wonderful book.

One star less for the blond, humorless German Nazi-hulk as over-the-top villain and his equally looking minions! (How do I have to picture a germanic-looking butler? Just asking...)
I am so fed up with that trope....yep, totally humorless!

Apart from that little niggle Golden Dancer was an o.k. mystery and a hot menage that I didn`t buy for one second but was entertaining nonetheless...
This unsatiable trio definitely deserves a gold medal in the condom-olympics!

The romance part of 'Golden Dancer' is a nice enough read, the sex scenes are hot and the building up of the relationship is sweet.

The condom consumption is remarkable just like the nonexistent reasons to ditch them suddenly. :)

But the suspense part of the book isn't my cup of tea at all.

I hate books with stereotypes. Germans are evil Nazis, their accent is unbearable, the initials for a German name is of course SS. Oh, I forgot... the typical German Nazi descendant is blond, looks like hulk and is a villain of the deepest dye.

And I would like to repeat the question of Simsala: How do I have to picture a germanic-looking butler?

2 out of 5 stars for a menage story which would have been much better without the prejudiced stereotypes.

3 Stars This is the story of three men from totally different walks of life finding each other and falling in love, all while an underlying mystery is going on of who stole the statue known as The Golden Dancer. Trelain is the famous ballet dancer, Daniel is the billionaire entrepreneur/slash possible art thief, and Mackenzie is the reporter who is a little obsessed with figuring out who stole the missing statue for which this book is partly named.

I have to be honest and just say, I almost didn't finish this book. It started out so slow and jumped around so much I couldn't get into it. Then once it starts picking up there are some things that happen in this book that make ya go hmmmm. Such as, This book is pretty much all sex. Which is saying something because Mackenzie aka Mac didn't even think he was gay prior to this story but then goes from a hand job to full-blown sex very quickly and Mac is some what of a power bottom! Then again so is Trelain and so is Daniel for that matter, which is unique in itself for this story.. three hungry bottoms!!

"Who would have believed Daniel would like to bottom this much? Bloody hell, Trelain loved being his top. Hot, deep and tight. Obviously, Daniel didn’t get fucked often. His hole closed around Trelain’s hungry dick like a sweet vise. He pulled out. Daniel moaned. He pushed in. Daniel moaned louder. Trelain began to hammer, deep, deep, deeper. Hot, so hot."

I wasn't surprised by the mystery in the book it was hinted at a few times. So overall, this is not a story for someone who wants a deep read but rather if you want to read about very raunchy sex and watch a relationship go from not knowing each other to a commitment ceremony in the blink of an eye. Other than that, once it gets going at about 40% it's not a bad book.
3 stars to The Golden Dancer

I’m not going to lie. I haven’t found too many M/M/M that do it for me…until now. There always seems to be an inequality that sets my teeth on edge. Daniel, Trelain, and Mac find a way to make it work. It is no secret that I am Tara Lain’s biggest fan. I love the way she lets us fall in love with the characters as they fall in love with each other. There is plenty of ménage, but you also get to see the MCs interact individually outside the bedroom.

When I started reading about Trelain, I thought we were going to meet the twin of Roan from, The Scientist and the Supermodel. But, other than being beautiful men at the top of their artistic fields, Lain has created two characters with unique voices.

Regardless of the fact that this book was called The Golden Dancer, this is really Mac’s story. Trelain and Daniel are his companions and lovers on his journey. A journey that ends his finding acceptance and love that he never expected.

My favorite character among the trio is Daniel. He is a switch on every level and you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth. He is the fuel that powers this romance.

Finally, I know this is listed as a contemporary ménage romance, but there is a pretty decent suspense subplot woven into the steamy bedroom scenes.

Tara can’t write fast enough to satisfy me. I highly recommend this book, and encourage you to go back and read her earlier releases, The Scientist and the Supermodel and Genetic Attraction.

Not your typical menage...and that's a good thing. Trelain is the famous ballet dancer, Daniel is the billionaire entrepreneur/slash possible art thief, and Mac-kenzie is the reporter. What a strange combo, but it works, really well.

The sex is hot, the mystery kept me guessing til the end, and I truly liked all three guys. A perfect trifecta.

The british slang at times threw me off but otherwise it was a good story. Started a little slow for me but quickly hooked me and I couldn't stop reading until i finished.

I was pleasantly suprised by this story, I don't know why I waited so long to read it.
The mystery was so-so and maybe a bit stereotypical and the conflict wasn't really a big deal for me, but it was just a nice sweet m/m/m story that worked for me.
Three very different and very independent guys that needed the others to feel at home.
A great read for a sunny afternoon.

Spoiler Ahead This was a pretty good book one that I read for a Summer Challenge for a GR group. Mac Macallister is an online news reporter he is obsessed with a story of a priceless work of art being stolen from Horst Von Berg by a billionaire art collector Daniel Terrebone. When his boss Woo ask him to fill in for a report who covers the arts he agrees to do an interview with ballet superstar Trelain Medveyev. Mac knows who Trelain is his parents are ballet teacher and taught Trelain at the beginning of his career after going back to Trelain's hotel and touching him his whole world is turned upside down. Mac leaves feeling confused he has always believed that he was straight although he had a few jerk off sessions with his college roommate he has been in relationships with women that went no where. When Mac found out that Trelain was spending time with Daniel he goes to his house to save him at least that what he told his self. This was a really good book this was my first time reading this author and I loved how the story unfolded. Daniel who was older than Mac and Trelain knew that they wanted each other and he realized that if he wanted to keep Trelain than he would have to accept Mac and Mac for his part knew the same and although he was still writing his story didn't trust Daniel and after spending time with him mostly naked he had to make a choice the story or his happiness. When Trelain is kidnapped both men will move heaven and earth to get back their lover. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling I am looking forward to reading more books written by this author.

A billionaire who gets what he wants, a dancer basking in the glory of his craft, and a reporter who wants to break the true story of the Golden Dancer while fighting the truth about his feelings for another golden dancer.

This story had one mysterious art theft, several determined men, miles of denial, a thousand degrees of heat, and the perfect balance to a three-sexy-guy-menage. I'm usually "meh" on menages, but Lain had me fanning myself over and over again. Sure, I have a thing for dancers, but that alone did not carry this book. The personal growth of Mac, our reporter, and his big story unfolding -- both what he learns and what he decides to do with that information -- were just as good as the steamy, sexy smut.

Highly recommended.

Entertaining read with extra of everything. Suspend rational thinking and ignore some of the ridiculous dialogue--yes, it will be difficult. I groaned several times--and enjoy the smutty scenes.

This beautiful disaster of a book probably doesn't even deserve two stars. But it's one of the few terrible books I've read that's actually so bad it's good. Go figure.

Full review originally posted at Sinfully.

I was a bit torn about this book as there were things I really liked and some things that just didn’t work, but overall it was an enjoyable read with plenty of steamy hot sex, and I always enjoy the dynamics of a ménage story when all the men are new to each other. The three men in this story couldn’t be more different, but they all wind up working very well together; Mac a hard news reporter investigating the theft of a statue called The Golden Dancer, Daniel the self-made billionaire and Mac’s number one suspect, and Trelain a superstar of the ballet world.

Trelain and Mac are taken with each other from the moment they meet. As much as Mac wants to deny that what he is feeling is an attraction to the gorgeous man, Mac doesn’t have much of a choice though when after an unexpected happy ending to their meeting, he can’t get Trelain out of his mind. While Mac is keeping his distance and questioning his newfound feelings, Trelain meets super sexy billionaire Daniel Terrebone and agrees to spend some downtime at the his house on the beach. Again the attraction is instant, and unlike Mac, Daniel has more than willing to indulge in anything Trelain might want. When word of Daniel and Trelain gets back to Mac, he panics and shows up at Daniel’s home in hopes of rescuing Trelain from the possible thief’s clutches, only to fall prey to Daniel’s charm and magnetism himself. From that moment on all bets are off as far as both business and pleasure go, as Mac discovers his sexuality with the help of two very willing teachers and begins to question whether the Daniel he is coming to know could possibly be the art thief he’s been investigating. What none of the men know however, is just how ruthless others with an interest in the statute are and the lengths they are willing to go to in order to get it back.

There is A LOT of sex in this book and that’s not a complaint because other than one scene that had a distracting overuse of condoms, it was all very hot and very well done. It covers all combinations and all the men are quite versatile, even the previously repressing his homosexuality gay sex virgin Mac is all in! The relationship does move very fast as the entire story plays out over a matter of weeks and in that short time the men go from strangers to planning a commitment ceremony.

One of the things that didn’t work for me is that there were a number of plot points that seemed too easily resolved. From the initial set-up of the story pitting Mac against Daniel, I was expecting it to result in a little bit more tension between them when the big reveal came, but it turned out to be rather anticlimactic. The tense family relationships between Trelain and his mother, and Mac and his father, also were resolved with relatively little difficulty as well.

The thing that really kept me reading was the relationship between the three men. I did like seeing Daniel, who is such an authoritative man in public, being almost submissive and doting when it comes to his partners. Trelain is a spitfire, all energy and sexuality, and he has quite a bossy streak as well. Mac is the most well-drawn of the three men. He has so much to consider from his realization about why his love life was always so miserable and the reasons behind his repressing of his sexuality, to the fact that he is still investigating Daniel even as he is growing attached, yet every time he is with his men those thoughts get pushed further and further aside.

As far as the mystery goes, it started off a bit slow for me, but it did keep me wondering what exactly was going on for most of the story. Although the number of secret players got occasionally convoluted, there was also a twist to it that I didn’t see coming, so that‘s always a win in my book. The mystery isn’t the strength of this book though and most of the time is spent on the relationship part of the story.

When it comes down to it, this is a hot, sexy ménage with three interesting men who can’t get enough of each other, and a side of mystery. If that’s what you’re looking for in a story, this will definitely work for you.

There ought to be some legislation enacted against these book cover sluts-boys from being regularly regurgitated ad-nauseum. I've lost count how many times I've seen this anemic-flamingo-posed-jackass-dude prostituting himself. A complete marketing-embarrassment and surefire way of adding zero credibility to a deficit-consistent genre.

About the story. The beginning feels like you might be getting something special until you start recognizing that familiar epidemic-rabbit-hole-nonsense that some writers don't just fall-but-dive-down. Just like this same recycled jackass dancing cover-boy on about 100 more covers.

This is one of the better menages I have read in a while. Trelain, ballet dancer, Daniel, the billionaire and possible art thief, and Mac-kenzie, the reporter, are all very likable characters.

This starts out a little slow, but quickly picks up pace once the three get together. And, once that happens, the sparks fly. These guys are really good together, and even though I had doubts about how it would all work, they just seem to be what each other needs.

Throw in some mystery, a kidnapping, and a little action, and I didn't want to put this down until I finished.

Menage...I wanted to love this one soooo bad. It just didn't live up to what I was hoping for.
The Mystery was..hmmm. I don't need it to be something I can't figure out and I don't need it to overshadow the story of the relationship. This was a mix of both, I guess. So that wasn't really my issue. My issue was the relationship...it never felt like all three of these guys should be together. I got the feeling it was almost forced to keep them together. :sigh: While the sexy times were very hot and plentiful I just didn't feel the love. :(

Surprisingly happy with: the plot, the characters, the style. And some other things. A fast, whirlwind romance with no unnecessary detours.

I have read two books by this author. Not that I remembered that when I picked this up. But I am coming to see that even in this "early" work, I kind of... like her style. Not a four-star kind of way but something that may be almost as good - and upper three stars, the consistent quality that may not blow my mind but, well, after opening and deleting some books today, I am more than happy to declare this a win and find myself some more of this.

Sure, there was this whole "awakening" that was really just "admitting to what he knew all along but was told to reject" (which I am too fond of, by the way, I prefer the more genuine version) and near the end, there was some... let's say that was not the best moment of the book.

But I was kind of intrigued.

Let's be honest (with myself), I am really getting into gay romance. And gay polyamory. I only need to look as far as my own work, really. I struggled with writing fantasy in my own language (well, after writing more than 100 000 words for one book) and I still struggle now but let's say that things I am writing now are definitely closer to this than, dunno, Tolkien or even ACOTAR.

Which is why I may find it so interesting to see them come together, these three very different guys. In my work, I tend to gravitate towards... not exactly destiny, but I feel that uniting more than two people does require some careful consideration - society is slowly accepting alternate orientations but the whole idea of serious relationships and monogamy is still tied to a very firm number so I guess in my mind, I feel like I really have to make it believable, how they could actually fall in love in such a way they would end up together as well (forever).

Not sure this book feels that. A reporter sees a dancer. Sparks fly. He won't admit it. The rich guy meets the dancer. They... "forge a connection". A reporter comes flying in. And pretty fast and under circumstances, I should not divulge, they are suddenly together. Sure, there are some complications and questioning. Some. Not that much. ¨

I would not go as far as saying love at first sight but I guess if someone would call it that, I would not really protest.

I guess I could also mention the Statue mystery and how I really liked the dynamic (I am getting sick of the heteronormative bs in queer stuff) or how short it was.

Suffice to say, if you like these themes, I recommend the book.

Trelain-Ballet Dancer Extraordinaire, Mac-Investigative Journalist, Daniel-Billionaire, Art Thief? Three men, with nothing really in common, come together to create a unique bonding.

I liked the basic story, the writing, the characters, and the way they came together. This menage worked well.

I could of done without the stereotypical bad guy and the slight mystery. When the story veered away from the developing relationship it felt weak to me. However this won’t stop me from reading the next book.

I received an arc of this book.

3 Hearts

I love a good menage story, especially with dancers. Any kind of dancers. But ballet dancers are something special, with their ridiculously bendy bodies, and stacked legs. Take a look for yourself.

Beautiful, right?!

So I picked this up because menage, and ballet dancer. The plot sounded interesting too. A billionaire and the reporter investigating him for theft, battle it out to win favour with the sexy star ballet dancer, and they all end up in bed together. Not bad, not bad at all.

I liked the premise, but unfortunately the execution wasn’t quite right. The sex was hot, I have no complaint about that. Tara Lain definitely delivered on sexy menage erotica. The scenes were scorching, and it definitely qualified as wank fodder.

But the rest of the plot was too disjointed. There were too many points of view, too many additional characters that took away from my enjoyment of the core relationship. This could have worked without the additional pov of the villains. I didn’t like it at all. I also thought that the homophobia was overdone. I understood that point of view the first time it was stated, but unfortunately the writer went too far, and had it stated multiple times. Yuck. It threw me out of the story and made me want to stop reading. If not for the threesome, I would have put it away. Don’t get me wrong, I am aware homophobia exists, and I am not naive to think people aren’t venomous in their hatred towards LGBTQI or anyone else for that matter, but in a novel that is mostly about relationship building, and three people who are trying to get to know each other, it just left me feeling cold. Once would have been enough to deliver the threat effectively.

Moving along to the relationship between Trelain, Mac, and Daniel. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the three. Even with Mac’s secret, I thought they all worked well together. Daniel started off sounding like a villain, but as we get to know him, that assumption is corrected. Trelain and Daniel are beautiful together. Mac fit in well with them. I had high hopes for them and their future together.

There were some parts of the story that were tied up too neatly. Trelain’s mother for instance. She has spent the better part of Trelain’s life planning to marry him off to a woman, knowing full well that he is gay. Clearly not accepting it, and stating quite boldly that two men together are not welcome in her house. Then one conversation with Daniel, right after this declaration, changes her into some LGBT ally?! It just wasn’t believable. If she’s spent that many years in denial, 5 minutes isn’t going to flip her views so quickly. She’s had years and years to ponder it already. What was the difference here?

Another plot point that bothered me: Mac’s parents. Apparently, they are big in the Ballet scene. Everyone knows them, but Mac’s impression of his father is homophobia. Okay, let’s go with that. I can see him being reluctant to call him and spill his guts about his gay relationship with two men, but when they do speak, the conversation they have is bordering ridiculous. Some pretty wild secret is revealed, and now Mac has no idea what’s going on and his entire childhood is in question because of it. And then they hang up the phone and it isn’t explored again. Way to leave me hanging. I wanted more from that. I wanted to get to know Mac’s parents. For people so heavily in ballet, it sort of makes sense that we would see them at some stage in the book, because, um, Mac is dating a famous ballet dancer, that they are very fond of and know personally.

The relationship between the three main characters was built enough for this story to work overall. But I do feel a bit cheated. This could have been more than it was, and I think a decent beta reader would have said something about it. Also, what is with their dick size? Apparently, they are all hung abnormally long and thick.

It sounded a little porny when I first read it, and it continued to sound porny every time it was mentioned. Maybe go easy on the next couple. Not everyone is a size queen. Not everyone has a big dick. Variety is good for the soul.

Recommended for people who enjoy MMM Erotic-romance with a bit of action suspense thrown in.

Can Mac keep investigating when his story could send one man to prison and another to the morgue? Will this reporter get his story or get his men?

Review:
I don’t think that I have not loved a book that I have read by this author. Every one that I have read has been fun and a little over the top. The characters are alway interesting and self confident or become that way by the end of the book. They always make me smile and feel good. That is the reason that I read so much fiction. If I wanted realism, I would go read the newspaper so I can become depressed. I prefer happy. The plot of this story has Journalist, Mac Macallister trying to solve an art theft. In his gut he feels that billionaire, Daniel Terrebone is behind the theft, the problem is proving it. In the meantime he is sent to cover a story about Trelain Medveyev, a ballet dance star. The story has many twist and Mac finding out more than he planned, including the realization that he is gay, and very attracted to Trelain. Chemistry. There is a lot of sex in this book and I felt the connection between the main characters. I thought the pacing was fast and exciting with some life threatening drama. I loved the romantic ending, and watching these characters fall in love.

This is a re-publication of a previous book--the notes say there have been edits to which I cannot attest.

It's a M/M/M menage between a billionaire, a ballet dancer and a beat reporter. It's hot.

Mac is a reporter for a popular online news outlet. He's offered an exclusive interview with Cavalier dancer Trelain Medveyev, a half-Brit, half-Russian star when the entertainment reporter is too sick to make the appointment. Mac gets this job because he knows a lot about ballet--his parents run the Dallas ballet company. Throughout his life, Mac has been told--by his "heterosexual" father--that he shouldn't look at other men, and should have a masculine aspect, and this translated into "don't be gay" in Mac's adolescent mind. As a war veteran and journalist, Mac is a man's man, but he's not a ladies man...he's never had a serious relationship with a woman.

Meeting with Trelain is...edifying. Trelain makes no effort to disguise his attraction to his burly reporter, and Mac accepts his invitation to dinner. Which results in sexytimes. For Trelain, the biggest, sexiest, challenge is a straight man. Though their night goes well, Mac is horrified by his actions, and Trelain moves on, meeting Daniel, billionaire software designer and possible art thief. Mac has been investigating Daniel as a likely candidate for stealing the famed and priceless Golden Dancer sculpture. And hearing that Trelain is spending several days with Daniel sets Mac on complete berserk overdrive.

Expect more sexytimes. See, Trelain is gone over Mac. Meanwhile, Mac is reluctantly attracted to Trelain...and silver fox Daniel, truth be told. Daniel finds Trelain unparalleled in beauty, and is willing to give him anything to keep him near--even Mac, if that can be arranged. (Spoiler: it can!)

This is a menage. It is hot and filthy and fun and wow! There's still the whole art theft and evil Germans and blah blah blah. I liked that part, really, and despite some earlier reviews having knocked it, I was totally cool with it. It may be that the revised version is a bit more tempered, and that's why I didn't find it over the top. That said, the masterpiece of the book is really the hawt sexy lovin's between Mac, Trelain and Daniel. I liked how they supported each other. It was fun to witness the interactions between Trelain and his mother--who desperately wants him to marry well, and the steps Mac and Daniel take to ensure he's emotionally sound after her badgering.

Also, the sexytimes get really, really dirty in this book. Like, absolutely filthy in the most delicious way. If books had lewdness ratings this one might be labeled: OMFG. So, there's that.

I was looking for something fun to read when I went to the publisher's website. Somehow I decided to pick this one up, along with something else. While I didn't particularly consider this a potentially "fun" read, I turned out giggling a lot, so I think it served it's purpose.

What I liked a lot was the smooth, fun style of writing Tara Lain has. I loved the Finnish character name thrown in the mix (Paavo, a side character that's mentioned a lot but never shown), I liked how most of the characters' emotions were portrayed, and I liked the hot sex scenes.

Because let's face it, there is a LOT of sex in this book. It's hot and sexy and good, until the characters come. Why? Because I think there was a handful of times (or then it just felt like that) when the author describes the feeling of climaxing as somewhat like "the top of his head blew off". That, sadly, always gives me a funny-in-the-wrong-way image of brain matter splattering all over the room...

I liked the main characters, mostly, but some things were swept under the rug a bit too easily. Also, I would have liked more explaining on how the heist was pulled off, but it wasn't explained. After laying the foundation for such an elaborate scheme and keeping the reader guessing with the "whodunit", it was a bit too anticlimactic for me.

This really was a 3 star story, but the things that were right, were really right, and I ended up enjoying it a lot, so 4 stars it is.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

4.5 hot and sexy *s

This is a book with many layers of story. Mac is a investigative journalist on a mission, who is asked to interview Trelain. Trelain is a dancer who doesn't form permanent relationships, so as to not disappoint his mother. Daniel is a billionaire, being investigated by Mac ... Mac has no idea he is gay, until he meets Trelain... Love somehow finds them all, and that makes things both incredibly complicated, but also simply wonderful. The men are utterly delicious together, and heat up the pages. As the drama develops a really good plot is revealed, and the twist results in a perfect outcome all round.

Very readable, very enjoyable, thank you Ms Lain

I was disappointed with this story. The suspense was a really weak (the whole thing seemed to resolve itself really quickly) and the menage did not work in my opinion.

I struggled with the menage because of Daniel, the billionaire. He was the character I liked the least - I did not get his motivation and I struggled to "see" him. He just did not fit and I felt the real love story was between Trelain and Mac. I wish that MM romance had been the focus.

My favorite character was Trelain (the dancer). I thought Mac was great until it became obvious that he had questionable integrity - since he seemed to have no problems sleeping with the enemy....although he did sort of redeem himself in the end....

I did love this book, Probably a 4.5 star, but I stretched it to 5.. I fell for the characters for some reason. Loved Trelain, loved, Mac and did love Daniel. This story is a m/m/m, Two of them are gay and "Mac" is or has always been "gay" but tried to ignore it due to his family. So kind of "GFY" maybe. Since it has been out for a while I will not write an entire review of it, but I did love it and did not stop until it was finished. I will say that the conversation that Mac had with his father really makes me believe in the "GFY" or you love who you love no matter what or who they are which I really hope is true.. Wish people would concentrate on that more than who you sleep with :) Enjoy and definitely worth the read.

Not all books involving three people work but this one did. Not only that but one of them didn't even realize he was gay(Mac) It was very very nice having Daniel and Trelain help him along the way to that discovery. They all had the best chemistry together. So hot and so sweet. They just all worked together. I'm really going to miss reading about them. I know I enjoy a book when I keep thinking about it when it's done. I hated that it had to end.

This probably would have been a high 4 stars for me, if it had just been about Trelain and Mac. I found these two to be great together, but tossing in a third just didn't work for me here, especially considering Mac thinks he's a bad guy at first. I just really wanted back into the Mac and Trelain moments.

Great plot. The threesome felt like a natural occurance, not something forced. Loved Mac and his self-discovery, loved Trelaine with his androgyny, and I loved Daniel with his magnetism. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
