Thought provoking

I've now read several of these collections. Something that is quickly apparent is the strong thread of sociology in them. However clumsy the expression, the themes of Ethics and Morality shine through. Racism is addressed, but less often. However, the collections are curated by editors, so more study of the original magazines would be needed to see whether this thread is the result of selection, or whether it accurately represents the authors of the time.
