Exciting and entertaining without profanity or gore. Tom Wopat’s performance is impressive and with a myriad of voices, also, surprisingly entertaining.. 👍🏼 Nearly forgot how entrancing Gripps novels are.

A Miami based criminal defense attorney's client is found guilty of murder....but the attorney, Jack Swytech, knows he is innocent. He begs his Governor father to sign a pardon for him, but he refuses. So begins this fast-paced, action filled book. As a first book by this author, it is a real page-turner, and reminds me of books by John Grisham. If you enjoy drama, court procedurals, action, and a bit of romance thrown in, this is the book for you. It is the beginning of a series, and I will continue reading books by this author.
