Sometimes you read a book, and it is not what you expected, but exactly what you need. Models on Top was a light hearted, refreshing story about second chance love.
Danny Weston and Reese Carmichael dated in college, and were madly in love. Unfortunately, it was exactly when Danny started taking more and more modeling jobs, and life didn’t go as planned. Now 10 years later, Danny is on top of the modeling world. He is not only drop dead gorgeous, but he also has a big heart and everybody loves working with him. He definitely did not expect to see the one girl who got away. The one girl who broke his heart, is at a meeting for a very lucrative job for Danny to model for one of the world’s top fashion designer.
Reese was hoping her heart wouldn’t hurt as much as it did when Danny walks in the door. Although she has no one to blame, after all, she suggest Danny for the job. Now seeing him in person, she is confused. Should she let the past go, or should she give in to her heart. After all, they both have changed so much, maybe he will not even have feelings for her anymore.
I absolutely adored Danny and Reese. They were so sweet together trying to find their way back to one another or maybe to let the other go, for good. Of course, besides their own feelings to battle, there was some outside drama to get through. I also adored the side characters, especially Vinnie, the world famous purple loving fashion designer who had me laughing throughout the book.
The story had everything, humor, sexual tension and even angst. I loved it!!! Highly recommend for anyone who loves second chance romance, or you are just looking for a funny, entertaining read.

It's not a secret the love & admiration I have S.L.Scott & her writing. I'm a huge fan of all her work and once again she's written an entertaining, fun, sweet, sexy and heartwarming read.
Loved Models on Top ~ Danny.
It was a touching and at times emotional second chance love story that had me turning the pages late into the night. I couldn't put it down.
I was blessed to have read an early copy of Models on Top ~ Danny, I can't express how happy I am to finally being able to share my love for Danny and Reese, soooo many feels.
I highly recommend it.

Wow! Just wow! SL Scott is one evil genius. Just when I think that I can’t possibly love another book that she’s written, she goes and gives me this book, and totally blows me away….Now, I’ve gotta tell you, ever since I heard about Models On Top- Danny, I have been dying and I mean dying to get my hands on this story. And I have to tell you, this book does not disappoint! This book has it all!!
Now, if you remember correctly, we are first introduced to Danny’s character in The Resistance, so of course, I couldn’t be more thrilled to hear that we were getting Danny’s story. And what a fun story Danny’s was. From the moment I picked up Danny’s story, I was hooked. With lines like this: “It’s not arrogance that allows me to acknowledge this fact. It’s my hourly fee. I don’t come cheap. Some call me a supermodel, though personally, I hate that term.”, I just knew Danny was going to give me a run for my money! Danny was entertaining and sexy and so much fun. Sure he had his “supermodel” moments, but there is just so much more to him that meets the eyes. Underneath all that was a charming, swoon-worthy guy that I couldn’t help but fall in love with. Reese was a great match for Danny. The chemistry between these two was off the charts and refused to be denied; no matter how much time passed between them. And I really loved how easy Reese was to relate to.
So, what can I really tell you about Models On Top-Danny?? What I can tell you, is this: This book is incredibly well-written and entertaining. It’s such a fun read and the characters are joy to read about. Even the secondary ones, but especially Vinnie and Becs. Everyone needs a Vinnie and Becs in their lives!! Seriously though, this book was a lot of fun for me. It is sexy with a lot of heart and just the right amount of steaminess. And in the end, it’s going to leave you with the biggest smile on your face. I know I haven’t stopped smiling yet. I will also say, that as fun as this book is, SL Scott, does give you a very real look into the lives of models/supermodels. Their lives are not always as easy and picture perfect as they seem, and I really appreciate this author for showing us some of the real struggles that these models face.
There’s nothing else left for me to say other than I loved this book. I think this new series is off to a truly great start. SL Scott has once again blown me away and knocked my socks off. I can not wait to see where she’s going to take me with this series next. I highly recommend checking this book out. SL Scott Fans, you will not be disappointed.

Danny. Is. Everything! Swoonable (and spoonable, which autocorrect rightfully suggested), hysterical and oh-so-hot, I’m in complete infatuation with this Model On Top!
One of my favorites this year, Danny is everything you want in a read: steamy scenes, angsty plots, and more laughs than you can count.
Simply put, Scott brought it with Danny! The words sizzle right off the pages, leaving you in complete love and lust for this delicious specimen.
Ladies (and gentlemen!), this is a two-hander: you’ll need one to wipe the tears from laughing and the other to fan your face from the heat! 5 blazing stars (only because I can't leave 6!) for Danny!

SL Scott never ceases to amaze me with her beautifully written stories. They are mesmerizing, heart fulfilling, sexy and funny. So it was no surprise to me that Models On Top-Danny pulled me in and kept me riveted from start to finish.
Danny. Oh god. I loved him from the first moment I met him in The Resistance. Needless to say, when she announced Danny was getting his own book I was ECSTATIC! I couldn’t get my hands on this story fast enough!
I loved Models On Top so, so much! Danny is a genuine man with a heart of gold. Yes, he is model perfect on the inside, but to me, he was more than just good looking. He’s charming, loving and caring. I wanted to be ON TOP of Danny! And under him....He’s everything! And I just loved Reese! Even though I wanted to shake her a time or two! She’s a stunning and smart woman who knows what she wants! Put these two together and WHOA. The sparks flew! Their passion seared me from within the pages! I could feel the longing these two had for one another. My heart!
Models On Top is a one of a kind friends to lover’s romance. This story has all of the best things you want in a love journey. Mystery, a bit of angst, lots of laughs and A LOT of sexy times! I just loved it! Danny and Reese’s romance was highly emotional and heart warming. It got me right in the feels! I will remember it for a long time!

Models on Top - Danny is rom-com at its best! A second-chance love story that is filled with sass, class and a whole lot of heart. SL Scott has written a book that will have you laughing one minute and swooning the next. A true joy that is a must read.
Danny and Reese. We get to see a bit of their past here and there and see that when they split up 10 years prior, neither ever really knew why. He was on the fast track to be a hot new model and she just wanted her college boyfriend to be by her side just when her own career was taking off. But then a chance meeting in LA changes everything and they fight both themselves and the world to find their way back to the love they never really forgot.
Oh my. What a page turner. I adored these characters. The seamless blend of humor and heartache was wonderful. Danny as the cocky yet completely lovable hero could not have been more perfect. And Reese. Getting to watch her claim her man, overcome a ton of obstacles and one despicable scum-bag boss, she really found her voice and the strength to never walk away again. Together with the man who stole the show more than once, the 'spectacular commotion of purple, designer Vinnie, this book was pure bliss from start to finish.
You'll be forever smiling with this one and fans of the author will love the cameos of two beloved characters from a prior series, remembering some past encounters that are now thankfully forgotten.
Very highly recommended and guaranteed to get you out any book slump you might be suffering from. A total keeper, I give this one a solid 5 stars!

Danny Weston is the hottest male model around, and gets better with age. BUT when given a new campaign his world gets turned upside down thanks to the one and only Reece Carmichael.
Reece Carmichael has worked her way to the top, and when given the opportunity to shine, she knows only one model will do- Danny Weston. What she’s not prepared for is the past to bubble to the surface and explode in her face.
Models on Top is story that will make you laugh, cheer for Danny, and fall in love with Vinnie. It gives new light into the modeling world, and when you’re finished reading you’ll have a new love and appreciation for the modeling industry. SL Scott does an amazing job making you feel as if you belong in the pages and are given a glimpse into the personal lives of two phenomenal characters. Be prepared to cheer on the guy with the looks and a heart of gold!

5 Plus Stars for Danny!
A Top Pick of 2016....
Do not let the cover fool you. Yes, it's about a smokin hot supermodel, but it is also about an epic love story! I went into Danny blind not knowing anything about it.... I was blown away with all the extraordinary characters and it's flawless plot. Danny & Reese's love and chemistry can be felt on every page. It's sexy, funny and emotional. You will be cracking up one minute and tearing up in the next! This is one of those magical books, you can't seem to get enough of.....
In a never ending sea of books that have their leading men as cocky assholes, Danny stands out like the shiny supermodel star he is.... He maybe labeled a supermodel and the sexiest man alive, but he still acts like the guy next door. No cocky attitude here, he just exudes confidence. The man is sexy as hell, but what makes him stand out is his compassion, empathy and overall benevolent nature. He puts the people he loves first. Danny will have you swooning all over the place. Hold onto your hearts.... I must also show some love for the leading lady Reese. I fell in love with her too. She is all sass and class! They make for quite a pair.... Danny & Reese's love spans 10 years. Meeting, dating and falling in love in college. The flashbacks to their college days were so heartwarming. It was sweet, innocent and bursting with love. I had butterflies the whole time.... Fast Forward 10 years, when they see each other again, all the feelings and heat are back! Seems they never left... It's a once in a life time love!
BTW... I told Suzie, that Vinnie needs his own book. Once you meet this over the top, larger then life, lovable, fun designer you will want more of him.....

Oh Danny Weston, you sexy sexy man. We were first introduced to Danny in the Hard to Resist series as Holliday's ab-licious wall jumping neighbor. Not just a pretty face, Danny is full of heart and humor. His story takes us behind the scenes of the modeling world where we are quick to learn that so much of what we, as fans and consumers, see is smoke and mirrors. We learn that even when you are on the top of your game ... when you are the Model on Top , life can be lonely.
Enter Reese Carmichael aka the one that got away . A career woman who is determined to find success, Reese is beyond gorgeous. She is smart and witty. Oh and she's Danny's first and true love.
I was immediately drawn to Danny and Reese. Their spark and connection was evident from the beginning. Their love was one for the record books. A love that couldn't be denied ... not by miles and not by years. A series of unspoken words led them both down a path of frustration, heartache, missed opportunities, and loneliness. It is through that series of unspoken words that they grew and became successful and driven individuals. It was also through that series of unspoken words that led them back to each other. Omg !! Sexy , funny and angsty ..
This book I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved it . Danny is a HOT (made me swoon) super model , the guy all the girls want , but when a new contract brings the one person from 10 years ago into his life again everything changes . Reese and Danny are one scorching hot couple and their chemistry can not be denied. Seriously this book had me blushing and laughing from one scene to the next ! I love second chance love stories and this is now one of my favorites. I must say I also love Vinnie and think every girl could use someone like him on their side !!

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Models on top. Danny and Reese's story was nothing like I imagined and I didn't want it to end. All that matters to Danny is Reese and vice versa.
S.L. Scott has a way with words and she really took me on a journey and I fell in love with every character in this book. I want to be bffs with Vinnie and want to know more about Luke.
I can't wait to read about the other models in the series! If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would!

This book was highly enjoyable and very entertaining from start to finish! The character development and progression was spot on!...and the underlying sensual chemistry sizzled at every page turn. The history between Danny and Reese had such a climactic build until you finally find out what happened with their relationship so many years before. The flashbacks helped build the passion both of them had, that continued to show throughout the story. Miscommunication plays a heavy roll in why these two didn't work the first time. And it almost prevented them from reconnecting again. But Danny refused to allow the same mistakes to happen a second time. And Reese finally realized that even though hundreds of women wanted Danny, he only had eyes for her.
Fantastic book! And the small interactions with Dalton and Holliday were the perfect tease! I love when authors create cameos for previous beloved characters! (High-five, S.L. Scott!) I'm really hoping for more of Danny and Reese, as I'm not ready to say goodbye to these two!

5 stars!! I absofreakinglutely loved this book!! Danny and Reese's story is far from perfect. Danny's job as a model takes him all over the world. Leaving Reese alone most of the time. They part ways and move on with their lives. They haven't seen or talked to each other in 10 years. But when Reese shows up at his agents office for a job, Danny doesn't know what to think. One click this book to read their story. It's amazing.

It's not often that a book surprises me, creeps up on me and utterly charms me, but Ms. Scott has done that with this entertaining second chance romance set in the modeling world. It's a world you stereotypically think of as superficial but in Ms. Scott's talented hands readers are drawn into a story full of depth, memorable characters, and a romance full of intense emotions and gutwrenching highs and lows. By story's end I've ultimately found another addition to my list of book boyfriends as Danny is the quintessential hero for his enduring love of the only woman he's ever loved and his bravery in telling her how he feels every moment of every day once he's reunited with her.
Danny and Reese were once inseparable. In college in Nebraska their lives seemed so full of possibilities but with his career on the cusp of exploding, things won't ever be the same. Her insecurities and his inability to balance his blossoming career and her feelings of loneliness led to a ten year separation that never had him forgetting her no matter how much pain she caused him. Fate can be unkind though, and true love is never easy, as their crackling reunion gives them moments of happiness before Reese's vile ex bursts the bubble of their happiness in a hard-won conclusion. Danny's a charmer who completely endeared himself to me from the first page to the last. He's sexy too, and is unabashedly honest about his looks, to know what's made him famous and his inner dialogue regarding his talents often brought a smile to my face. Though he was hurt by Reese leaving him long ago he's the one to first express his feelings, loudly and proudly and in such romantic terms, pushing her to fight for their love when their HEA gets put in jeopardy which had me admiring him all the more. Just as he's a loving boyfriend he's an equally loyal and supportive friend with a close-knit group of friends who are like family to him and promise all sorts of sequels in the future.
Reese always felt special when in Danny's arms but as his career took off she felt lost and alone. She felt as if she had no talents of her own and saw herself losing her place in his heart. These feelings frustrated me as I wanted her to show her love to Danny just as deeply as he loved her and when push came to shove she failed. She let her insecurities rule her heart and left the man who was her soul mate behind only to have fate reunite them ten years later in a connection just as deep as before, just as intensely emotional. The years apart allowed her to mature though, to gain confidence in her career and find the soul her new life has been sucking out of her. Being with Danny brings her out of the too-serious shell she put herself in and it was a satisfying sight to see. She's more self-assured which will be necessary as her possessive ex tries to steal her HEA in an ending that's a bit predictable. Luckily, she's made a unique family of her own with the flamboyant designer Vinnie who encourages her fun side and is like her Fairy Godmother in making her HEA come to fruition.
This was a story that charmed me and made me smile. Danny was everything you want in a book boyfriend as he had such a romantic way with words that he easily expressed and a talent for dirty talk that left me flushed. Reese may have started off full of doubts but being back with Danny empowered her and pushed her to embrace the life she wanted as opposed to settling as she has for the last ten years. The main characters were larger than life with a connection that proved the power of love with witty and sensual banter teeming with sensual tension. Their connection was just as combustible as it was ten years ago to make erotic interludes that were hot yet playful. Along with this dynamic duo comes a memorable cast of secondary characters with engaging stories of their own just waiting to be told. Amongst them is Danny's lovelorn friend Luke, whose conversations regarding their rocky love lives left me smiling at their befuddlement and those moments of embracing their softer sides. Fellow model Claudia is also heartbroken and at a loss regarding her career that's led to drugs and depression but surrounded by the supportive Danny and Reese I hope to see more of her in the future. Outspoken and humorous Vinnie was another highlight of the story and another individual hiding behind their facade. He's sweet and oh so supportive with a story I'd love to have revealed. Each of these secondary characters made a good story even greater as their stories are just as powerful and pulled me further into this world. The romance was heartwarming and the glimpses of their past made their relationship even richer and their HEA more rewarding. With this book Ms. Scott has made a lifelong fan as this story satisfied me on every level. From its fun and flirty banter, to its decadently delightful sexual interludes, to a hero who's deliciously perfect, this is a romance readers won't want to miss and I look forward to learning more about the equally memorable cast of secondary characters!

The cover the description of the book all look deceiving making you believe its all about super hot and sexy models. Oh but it so much more than meets the eyes. Models on Top- Danny is about falling love, going after your dreams, learning a valuable lesson along the way, a second chance at love. I absolutely loved this story it was beautifully written, flawless, touching, emotional, comical all rolled into a nice little ball. The secondary characterizers were all an added bonus, especially Vinnie you'll see for yourself once you meet him, loved him. P.S. I did tell S.L. that maybe Vinnie needs his own book. This is the first book in the series and I can't wait for the next installment, its going to be one hell of a sexy and hot series. Well done S. L. Scott.

Scott didn’t play to the stereotypes that seem to surround models; Danny is a down to earth guy who just happens to know how to respond and act in front of a camera. He definitely owns what he does, but it doesn’t define him, and that’s what makes Danny so appealing.

Danny, Danny, Danny….. He’s the typical model, but he has a heart too! And now after ten years in the business he’s ready to have his normal life back and to win back Reese! This book is so funny, I almost laughed myself to tears when reading!! And when you aren’t laughing you’re fanning yourself, because this book is so hot!! I’m not going to lie, I was sort of hesitant about reading this book, but I’m so glad I did!! It’s thoroughly entertaining!!!

Danny Weston is one of the most sought after male models in the industry. He’s in his early thirties and his career is going great but the parties and dating are getting old. He still wonders what happened ten years ago when he lost the love of his life.
Reese Carmichael has worked hard to get her career in marketing and advertising to where it is today. A huge opportunity comes her way to run a major ad campaign for a famous men’s designer and she knows just the model for the job. But is forcing her old love back into her life a good idea?
I really liked the premise of this book as it is the opposite of what you usually see. Most books involving models/celebrities in relationships have the female in the famous role with the male partner being the jealous one who can’t handle things so this was a refreshing change.
My problem was that it took forever to get around to why Danny and Reese’s relationship fell apart the first time. They never really ever talked about their problems or what happened with each other and that just didn’t make any sense to me.
I really liked Reese but wish we could have got more in her head about things and also wish she hadn’t been so back and forth with her decisions. Some of the supporting characters were intriguing, funny and for me, outshined the main characters in like-ability.
This book has a lot of promise but sometimes it just felt disjointed from sudden scene change with no warning, to conversations that were stilted and confusing, and lots of interruptions during key moments. I just think with a little polish this could have been a better, less confusing experience for the reader.

Models on Top - Danny is rom-com at its best! A second-chance love story that is filled with sass, class and a whole lot of heart. SL Scott has written a book that will have you laughing one minute and swooning the next. A true joy that is a must read.
Danny and Reese. We get to see a bit of their past here and there and see that when they split up 10 years prior, neither ever really knew why. He was on the fast track to be a hot new model and she just wanted her college boyfriend to be by her side just when her own career was taking off. But then a chance meeting in LA changes everything and they fight both themselves and the world to find their way back to the love they never really forgot.
Oh my. What a page turner. I adored these characters. The seamless blend of humor and heartache was wonderful. Danny as the cocky yet completely lovable hero could not have been more perfect. And Reese. Getting to watch her claim her man, overcome a ton of obstacles and one despicable scum-bag boss, she really found her voice and the strength to never walk away again. Together with the man who stole the show more than once, the 'spectacular commotion of purple, designer Vinnie, this book was pure bliss from start to finish.
You'll be forever smiling with this one and fans of the author will love the cameos of two beloved characters from a prior series, remembering some past encounters that are now thankfully forgotten.
Very highly recommended and guaranteed to get you out any book slump you might be suffering from. A total keeper, I give this one a solid 5 stars!

Models On Top – Danny by SL Scott
I love Danny from the beginning, I could sense that there was more to him then just a nice face and good looks. He has a sense of humour which had me chuckling away at the best of times. There is something very refreshing about the way his demeanour and I really liked that element to his personality. We get to see the behind the scenes in this book, and experience the way the world turns in terms of how the modelling industry works.
The book becomes interesting when Reese enters. We get to see their past and how it came about that she was the one that got away. She was the first love in Danny’s life and it becomes evident that he’d also love her to be the last love of his life too. Their love is clear and one that you can’t deny.
They’ve spent years apart and now through some different modes, they find their way back to each other. The best part of it is that all the years they spent apart, was in a way worth it because they found each other again. They rediscovered their love and devotion to each other. I honestly adore these two and I just think they’re two pieces of the same heart. Bound and destined for each other, for as long as they live.
This is a true comedy and I honestly laughed out loud at so many different parts. Definitely recommend this. It is my first SL Scott read but not my last!

Models on Top is a magnificent masterpiece of sex, seduction and a soulful second chance at love story.
This book from start to finish is like a symphony of lust filled notes and intense, emotional lyrics, that sing out in beautiful harmony.
From beginning to end Models On Top burns, sizzles and crackles from intense heat and love. Danny and Reese are so over the top in love with one another, so undeniably beautiful together that while reading Models on Top, you feel every inch of their love, every spark of their chemistry and every pulse of the simmering sexual tension.
Danny is sexy, smooth and devilishly charming. His cocky, playboy attitude, simmering smile and rock hard abs ticked all of my boxes. And not only does he pack all the looks he also brings the swoon factor. Too many times I found myself ahhh'ing along to his words of raw love and passion for Reese.
Reese is written exceptionally well along side Danny. Her love also evident but her insecurity and pain is played perfectly. As a woman reading Reese I connected to her and understood why she felt the way she did at times. But one thing that I had all the way through was faith in Reese to put her trust out there and take the chance.

Models on top was a very hot, enjoyable read. Danny is a Super Model of the hottest proportions who lands a campaign for a very successful fashion designer, but with that comes someone from his past. The only one he ever loved, the only one who every touched his heart. Reece is the woman who got away, his one true love and someone he hasn't seen in 10 years. That is until the day he meets the Italian designer, because sitting right next to him is Reece, the woman he never stopped loving and the woman also responsible for Danny getting this campaign. Can Danny and Reece overcome their past mistakes, start over, and have a future together, or are there too many obstacles standing in the way of their true happiness.
I really enjoyed this story and would definitely recommend it. SL Scott brings her characters to life in this story. It will make you laugh, swoon and cheer for them.

Danny Danny Danny I think it's safe to say you are one of the sexiest men I have read about. I'm surprised the pages didn't sizzle when it came to you and the Vittori campaign! I hated that it took so long for Danny and Reese to get their happily ever after but it only strengthened their relationship in the end. Keaton was definitely one man I wanted to punch in the face. He was nothing but a low life p.o.s. I fell in love with Mr. Vittori "Vinnie" and let me just say I wish I had a friend like him. I laughed so much at his antics. Great story!

As ALWAYS S L Scott DOESN'T DISAPPOINTS. I felt so many emotions. From Sadness, Happiness, Disgust, Surprise, Anxiety, Ecstasy, Hatred, Love, Rage and Hope. Aside from Danny and Reese, I feel in Love with Vinnie! Suzie takes you on an Emotional Journey, she can make you take a moment and look back at your life and reflect if you've worn her character's shoes. Definitely FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
