Brice Taggerty, better known simply as Tag, wasn’t worried about coming out after all these years. Actually, he delighted in the idea of feeling free enough to face who he always knew he was. He didn’t need acceptance, nor was he around to be admired or win any popularity contests. In fact, all he wanted was an average humdrum, mundane life. After making a successful career out of flying around the world photographing the world’s most beautiful models in exotic locations, he was excited to throw away his passport and plant his feet firmly on solid ground…and find that someone special.
Fletcher Davis, a former search and rescue helicopter pilot, was ready to start his life again. After fifteen years of dealing with danger on a daily basis and his past at long last behind him, he secured a new job flying for a commercial airline and just may have found the perfect place to call home. What he didn’t count on was a hot enticing neighbor or his past to catch up with him. All Fletcher wanted was a sense of normalcy, routine…and someone special to share it with.
When finally they meet, will sparks fly, fireworks go off, will it be love at first sight, or will their histories keep them apart?
Fletcher’s got his sights set on a certain blond haired neighbor…and Tag You’re It!
This was another book that had great potential, but lacked the execution. It was way too busy for me. There were too many characters, and too much going on. Also the editing needs WORK. There were times the fonts changed, size changed, and it was too distracting on top of the wrong words used. I'm willing to give this author another try, but I can't justify rating this any higher.
I havent read Jennifer Rose before. This being my first book from her, I did enjoy it. I didnt read the first book in this series but in order to read this one you don't have to. It can be read as a stand alone but you would get the story about Dyson and Harley. This was Tag's story, he was a straight man-whore who changed his ways once he found out he was gay, and it was well written and didn't move too fast for me. Fletcher was a sexy pilot with a british accent and they worked well for each other. It had some action and definitely some misunderstandings . The conflict between Fletcher and his x was alittle silly for me. I didn't think it added to this story. Tag and Fletchers chemistry was good and there were a bunch of hot scenes. Over all I would definitely read Jennifer again and hope book 3 in this series is about another one of their friends...Noah. Reviewed by Jodi Marinich from Alpha Book Club .
This is part of a series but can easily be read as a standalone. This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. The characters’ Tag and Fletcher were clear well thought out and they were perfect for each other. I had an immediately connection with both characters and couldn’t wait to see where this author took them. I was a little surprised that the author put these two men together because they were clearly as different as day and night, but she did and I was amazed with the depth that these two men projected. It takes a really good author to put to totally different men together and make it work. Excellent job!! If you haven’t read this book then I highly recommend it, I know I’ll go back and read the first in the series.
I received a free copy of this book to read for Inked Rainbow Reads in exchange for an honest review.
This was a fun story with angst thrown into the budding romance between a photographer and a pilot...in the form of an 'ex' that didn't want to let go. As new careers are established and a relationship develops, a blast from the past comes to 'shake up things!' Personalities take center stage when feelings are hurt and trust is stretched. A really good story!
This was the story of Brice "Tag" Taggerty and Fletcher Davis. Tag has been a playboy and world traveler for years and has decided to settle down and get serious about his life and relationships. All his life until recently he'd kept the truth about himself secret, but he was finally ready to come out and be his true self. Enter Fletcher Davis, a previous Search and Rescue pilot who has also decided to settle down by buying a new home and changing careers to being a commercial airline pilot. It just so happens that his new home is next door to Tag. When these two meet, the attraction is instant and the desire to get to know each other overwhelming. But both Tag and Fletcher have things in their past that are making themselves very present and could prevent these two from having any kind of future together.
Tag was a very interesting character. He is a photographer who is ready to stop travelling the world and wants to settle down and open his own studio. He also has just recently come out to those important to him and is ready to attempt his first actual relationship after having spent years dating women. He meets Fletcher right after, and is immediately interested. Tag was very loyal to his friends, even when making hard decisions, he went the route of not being disloyal to any one and I really liked that about him. He was very playful and bantered back and forth alot with Fletcher as well as his best friend Dyson. Fletcher was very different from Tag. While he had his playful and fun moments, he also had always known exactly who he was and what he wanted. He, unlike Tag, has only ever been in relationships with men but had often limited himself from getting too involved due to his job also taking him all over the world.
This book had a lot of emotions, a lot of misunderstandings, and quite a few "I didn't see that coming" moments. This wasn't a simple book where two people meet, they fall in love and then live happily ever after. These two characters definitely go through things that test them and often made them question if they could ever be together. There was a little bit of mystery thrown in with the romance, and there were some steamy moments, but it was just enough to avoid being over kill. A few times I felt one of the characters might have overreacted to a situation and the dramatic moment was a bit forced. But overall I thought this was a cute story that kept me well entertained.

Tag is finally ready to accept his sexuality and tell the world he's gay. After years trying to hide this from the world, he's decided he needs more from life than being the playboy world-travelling photographer and wants to open a studio and perhaps find the man of his dreams.
Fletcher has moved halfway around the world after a bad breakup. He wants to settle down, enjoy a new turn on his career as a pilot and maybe find the man with whom to spend his free time. The last thing he expected was finding just that in his new, very handsome neighbor.
The attraction is swift and undeniable, but there are many obstacles in their way.
I loved Tag and Fletcher! They were so much fun to read and the chemistry between them was undeniable from the getgo. At times, they were a bit too dramatic for my taste, but it sure made for an entertaining read. Tag knows what he wants, after being in love with his best friend Dyson for most of his life and finally realizing that was nothing but a pipe dream, he's ready to take on the world and find what he needs, a man to spend the rest of his life with. And Fletcher was just what he needed. They fitted well right from the start.
I didn't want to like Claudios, but he was kind of endearing in his deluded ways. And I really liked Dyson.
The book is fairly well-written, although it did have some minor editing issues, and it was entertaining, hot and sweet with some angst and suspense thrown in for good measure. Recommendable!
Fletcher and Tag will melt your heart! Tag finally is ready to come out and Fletcher is trying to start over after being heartbroken. Both of their pasts refuse to stay behind and they have to have a lot of trust and faith in each other after having only just starting their relationship. I loved seeing characters from the previous book in this series, but you don't have to read them in order to understand what's going on. Ms. Rose takes you through their journey beautifully! I hope we see more in this series!

3.25 stars out of 5. At times I really enjoyed the story but there were many times that the way the characters acted were a bit over the top. When things were normal between them the story flowed really well, but then it's like the author wanted to shake things up and toss in roadblocks. Some of those 'roadblocks' were over the top and even at times felt contrived. While this story wasn't really for me in the end, I'd encourage other readers to check it out yourself, you might like it more than I did.
Well, the author threw everything and the kitchen sink at this couple, so much so that we hardly got to know them at all as a relaxed and happy couple in love.
Pair that with lots of niggling little grammatical errors as well as phrases like "hurdles to concur" (you should conquer hurdles not agree with them" and "running his fingers threw my hair" instead of through, then this book becomes just ok rather than great. I'm disappointed because I really enjoyed the first book in the series.
I have fallen in love with this series. I didn't think the series could get better after the first book but I was so wrong. I adore Tag and Fletcher, they are wonderful characters. I loved how they battled their ups and downs and came out on top. Not only was this book hot and steamy but it also has some suspense dropped in also. It is well written and I can't wait to read more from this author.
This was a great story,I laughed, got very angry & I cried, so emotional. I lovedTag & Fletcher & so happy Tag got his story. It was nice to read more on Harley& Dyson as well.
