This is a big book with jam-packed information. It does a good job of introducing the common student to all disciplines of psychology. Some of the chapters were really boring and dull but that may simply be because of my personal interests.

The book has guides and goal-questions to help you process the sheer amount of information. I'll probably pass on this book; there must be better introductory texts out there. I'm pretty sure I had to read this particular book because one of the professors at my school helped write it.

Studying this book is also a great pain as there is so much information.
