I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Cookie Chanel and her ghostly sidekick Charlotte are back in another fun adventure with unusual fashion tips. This series is so entertaining with loads of laughs that I just loved it! While I'm not into vintage fashion, the characters are so well-written with the mystery being the main focal point, that it doesn't detract from the story in any way. Charlotte is such a hoot and so opinionated that you just gotta love her. This is a great series that shouldn't be missed!

As the owner of It’s Vintage, Y’All in Sugar Creek, Georgia, Cookie Chanel is thrilled that author Juliana McDaniel wants to meet with her regarding her upcoming book on Vintage Fashion. On her way to meet Cookie, Juliana is shot and killed. When Cookie arrives at the roadblock where the incident occurs, she manages to meet up with Juliana's ghost. Of course Cookie can not turn down Juliana's request to find out what happened to her.

Cookie and her ghostly sidekick Charlotte are ready to investigate the situation. Once again, Charlotte with her sassy attitude, along with Cookie's investigative skills had me smiling and laughing one minute and worrying the next. With the help of her best friend Heather and her psychic cat, Windsong, they not only investigate the mystery of Juliana's death, but try to track down where Windsong came from. The characters' interactions are wonderful and they are such good friends whether human or ghost, that I would love to meet them. The mystery in this story took a few twists and turns before the final unveiling of the culprit. Once again there is a lot of description of vintage clothing and outfits, but in this case, much of it was necessary to the plot. This was another fun adventure that moved quickly and kept me entertained until the end. This is a good addition to the series and I enjoyed reading it. I would recommend this book to cozy mystery lovers as well as those who like vintage fashion, especially hats.

I want to introduce you to Cookie Chanel! She lives in Sugar Creek, Georgia and owns a vintage clothing boutique called, It's Vintage, Y'All. When she attended the estate sale of Charlotte Meadows, a wealthy socialite, to find some vintage designer clothing, Charlotte's ghost attaches to her and becomes her friend and business partner. Charlotte just wanted Cookie to find out who murdered her and why! This time Cookie is meeting with author, Juliana McDaniel to share her expertise in finding vintage clothing bargains. When Juliana is shot and killed, her ghost begs Cookie and Charlotte to find out who and why. With the help of her psychic kitten, Cookie and the girls are soon knee deep in family secrets, hidden motives, and murder solving!

This series will keep you laughing as you get to know a snarky ghost, a psychic kitten who uses a Ouija Board and Tarot Deck to communicate and get to know the quirky Cookie. There are fashion tips at the start of each chapter from both Cookie and Charlotte. Wonderful characters, vintage clothes and well executed murder plots make this a Must Read series! This is the third book in the series. They can be read out of order but they are even funnier when you start at the first book.

Totally adorable I love the friendships between the ghosts, the cat and Cookie.
There's a lot of heart involved in this book but there's so much comedy and light hearted fun as well.
At first I thought that the whole store owner turned PI kind of thing was a little silly but it was entertaining enough and in a book like this anything can happen.
Cookie was great. She's likeable and tends to get herself in more trouble than she gets out of which is endearing.
There is so much to like about this story, I highly recommend it!

Coco Chanel loves vintage clothing. Incredibly, one of her best friends, Charlotte, is a ghost. After she was untimely murdered, Charlotte came back to haunt Coco and now she helps her solve homicides. Sugar Creek, Georgia is home to this ghost whisperer, and Coco soon meets a new friend---newly murdered Juliana McDaniel. For unknown reasons, the vintage items Juliana was carrying in her car are being sought by her boyfriend and, apparently, he'll go to great lengths to get them back...especially the fancy vintage hats. Coco's magical, crime tipping cat, Wind Song, provides much-needed clues to help solve this mystery. Also, one of Coco's family members is the key to the mystical nature of Wind Song. This enchanting paranormal Cozy series is one of my most favorite, and it just gets better and better. The series is best enjoyed if you begin with book one and read in order of release.

It's always a pleasure to read a book in the Haunted Vintage Series by Rose Pressey.

Cookie Chanel loves all things vintage and she has even grown to love her ghostly sidekick Charlotte. When author Juliana McDaniel wants to get Cookie's expert advice on vintage clothing, Cookie is flattered and pleased. Unfortunately, Juliana never makes it to the meeting, at least not her life form. Having another ghost following her should make her crazy, however, it motivates e=her to help Juliana find out who was responsible for her death.

This series is such a delight to read. Cookie, Charlotte, Heather and Dylan make this such a believable story. They add such colorful antics to the story and when Cookie finds out some of her own family secrets, this book will leave you smiling at the end.

I voluntarily read an ARC from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I got this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was so excited for this book. It's really sweet, cute, and easy read. I absolutely look forward to the next one.

However, I gave it 3 stars and it should be more like 3.5 but wasn't quite enough to round up to 4 stars. The main characters were super sweet and I loved them, but I feel like the majority of the book was just repeating the same scene over and over again. Following someone because you think you see them and nothing happening (no contact no resolution just them doing the same thing over and over) it was something of a turnoff. The plot was captivating and the ending had me turning the pages. As I said earlier, I'm really looking forward to the next one.

This is actually the first book in this series that I've read. It was a light and fun read. I actually was able to read it all in one sitting. I didn't want to put it down. The mystery was one that kept me guessing. I wasn't a fan of the fashion tips parts. I felt it took away from the momentum of the story. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I'll likely go back and read the first three books in the series at some point. I look forward to the next book in the series though.

Note: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions expressed in the review are mine and mine alone.

Another fun visit with Cookie. Two ghosts made for some stilted dialogue, but it was good. The solution was pretty obvious early on but not the motive. Still enjoying the series.

Cookie Chanel was on her way to meet author Juliana McDaniel for a research interview about vintage clothing. Unfortunately, Juliana met a tragic death on a car accident, and before she knew it, the It's Vintage Ya'll owner was talking to Juliana's ghost. With her ghost companion Charlotte Meadows, best friend tarot card reader Heather, and Ouija board fanatic Wind Song the cat, they're bound to discover an ugly family secret and haunting mystery surrounding Juliana's death.

And that's another day, another spirit in the life of Cookie Chanel.

Like in her previous books, Rose Pressey continue to provide laughter, hysterics, mystery and exciting paranormal activity through her heroine Cookie Chanel. I like how Cookie had improved in her sleuthing skills and became more competent and confidence towards her goal. I just couldn't get past Charlotte Meadows' controlling behavior and meddling antics. Cookie's dating life is on the brink because of her. Wind Song the cat, on the other hand, still mystifies me. I like that there's already development about our favorite feline. She's probably my favorite character in the series. Meow!

Love this latest book in the Haunted Vintage series. I would definitely read and anticipate the next books!

Cute and funny with a smidgen of sadness!

When Cookie left to meet with a client, Juliana, she never expected to come across a murder scene. She expected the murder victim to be Juliana even less.

While Cookie, her friend Heather, her ghost friend Charlotte, and also her physic cat try to solve this murder so Juliana can move on things get more and more complicated and dangerous.

Cookie is dating Dylan and it also looks likes she has another male admirer in Ken. It seems there is a triangle here and we'll have to see if that is solved along with the murder.

The banter between everyone is funny and when it turns out that it could possibly be her grandmother that has shown up as a cat it might just be one of the funniest books I have read in a long time.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Hm, this is a hard book to rate. I love the premise of the vintage shop owner solving mysteries with a ghost by her side and a psychic, Ouija-board using cat. However, the actual mystery itself is lackluster. *spoiler* the whole book is trying to figure out which of these 3 people is the killer. Well, turns out by the end they were all in cahoots. Ok? That's been done. And it's not even explained WHERE the stolen money came from and why these three people felt the NEED to hid it in someone's grandma's hat in the first place. How do you hide money in a hat?

Don’t Miss Cookie Chanel’s Fashion Tips

My Review:

I am a bit disappointed with this fourth installment in this series. Normally Cookie is witty, fun to be with and half way intelligent, but in this book she is a dithering airhead. The dialog is repetitive at times with scenes that seemed to added strictly to fill pages. Miss Pressley is so much better than this. Haunted is Always in Fashion was a great premise that could have been so much better with attention to detail.

Perhaps the next book, "If the Haunting Fits" will be back to Ms. Pressey's usual standard. My rating of "Haunted is Always In Fashion" is 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I received a copy free of charge from Netgalley and the publisher for an honest review. I enjoyed the story the author had to tell. The characters are related and you find yourself caring what happens. Cookie Chanel owns a vintage clothing shop. She loves anything vintage, from her store to her clothing to her home, even her car is vintage. She can also see ghosts. The ghosts come to her for help in solving their murder. Cookie even has a cat, Wind Song, that seems to be a bit psychic. She speaks to them through a Ouija board. This book reveals a little more about the mysterious Wind Song.

The reason for the three stars is the endless description of clothing everyone is wearing, especially the main character. It seems like every other page, the author is describing in annoyingly minute detail what the person is wearing. Enough is enough. It takes away from the enjoyment of the story line.

The ending was a bit vague

Terrific read until the end where it lost momentum, fizzled out and got a bit vague. Who was the brains behind the plot? Who was in the plot? The characters however were a delight, fully developed and crystal clear.
She loves her vintage clothing store and has agreed to being interviewed about vintage clothing. However on the way she comes across a police incident and by the time she leaves, she knows there was a fatality and has acquired another ghost. Oh yeah, she can see and talk to ghosts. The ghost is that of the young woman who she was supposed to meet. As the three talk, they decide to try to find out what happened. Hats, stolen money, threats, break-ins and attempted murder are all mixed together into a read that sadly lost it's way at the end.

Haunted is Always in Fashion is the fourth book in the Haunt Vintage Mystery Series.

Once again a ghost has attached herself to Cookie Channel. While on her way to meet with a young woman who is writing about vintage clothing Cookie sees the police surrounding a car. Shockingly the woman, Juliana, has been shot and wants her murder solved. Urged on by the ever faithful Charlotte Cookie once again finds herself in over her head as she attempts to catch a dangerous murderer.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much Rose Pressey's writing has evolved it reads far smoother and the mystery fit together better then previous ones. It is always entertaining to have Cookie explain why she is talking to herself since no one else can see the ghosts around her. The teaser for If the Haunting Fits, Wear It has me wanting to continue on with the series.

I do enjoy this series. I am a bit weary of the repetitive 'Tips' that are from earlier books. Funny the first time around but the second...now the 4th. I do acknowledge that first time readers will not understand this past sentence...

The main characters are jewels. The interaction between the living and dead are great. I wish Cookie Chanel would tell her boyfriend, Dylan that she has this ability and see his 'reaction.' Perhaps soon it will be written.

This volume was about Hats and more hats. There was also a murder and the 'bad' guys came out of the woodwork in this volume. It felt Cookie couldn't trust anyone she interviewed. Well written novel that makes you want to read the next installment pronto.

Review: I don't know why I really enjoy this series but I do! Its full of ghosts in cute outfits, cats that are dead people, a vintage clothing shop and all things fun! There were a few characters to keep track of in this book so I had to keep them all in order. The police man lets Cookie in on info that in real life would not happen, but these are all allowances we make for these light fun books. I enjoy the vintage shopping and ghost outfit tips at the beginning of each chapter, I love the descriptions of Cookies outfits as well as the other characters, the clothing that she sorts through is fun to read about. The Ouija board using cat and Charlotte the ghost are wonderful additions to this series. I chuckle to myself when Cookie slips and replies to Charlotte or Juliana, her temporary ghost in this book , out loud in public. I look forward to more in this series.

If you're looking for a book that includes a lot of vintage description, this is a good book for you. If you were looking for a cozy mystery, there are better options elsewhere. To sum up, there are a lot of loose ends in the plot without much explanation. The love triangle subplot feels a little off because at least to me, it only exists to drop Cookie necessary information about the murder and investigations around it. The Cookie's Grandmother subplot, which I'm assuming spans multiple books, seems like it's there to fill space. It could have been summed up with the cat just explaining via oujia board, but no, the cat has to be only helpful in murder investigations and not itself.

In the story, we follow an amateur sleuth, Cookie Chanel, in discovering the death of Juliana McDaniel. Juliana was shot dead on her way to meet Cookie. In picking up the thread of the story, her own life was put in danger.

The story is fun and fast phased read. I love that it is quite paranormal and mysterious at the same time. Though the major plot is not that mind-blowing, I get to love the individual characters in the story. And isn't it the main reason why we read? To know more about the characters and learn from them.

All in all, I had a great time reading and learnjng about Cookie Chanel's adventures.

While I enjoyed the story and the vibrant characters, I did run into a few issues.

I'm sure others have noticed a name typo within about 4 or 5 sentences. Tricia becomes Trisha once and goes back. It happens, biggie.

Now, their first visit to Fatima was fine, but the second trip/conversation? It's like the first time never happened. There's no reference to it and the conversation goes almost exactly the same.

There is also a point when she schedules a lunch date with Ken and it doesn't happen. Yet, neither of them cancel and it isn't mentioned again.

Cookie Chanel runs Vintage Y'all clothing store and has a habit of picking up ghosts wherever she goes and this is book is no different. Cookie is suppose to meet with an author to share her vintage knowledge and ends up gathering her up as her newest ghost. So Cookie with the help of her friends, the ghosts and some new crazy characters have to solve the mystery.

I've read several books in this series and love them all. All the characters are loveable especially her cat. I would totally recommend this series.

It was ok.

Cookie was kinda annoying in this one.

The ghost was a twit.

The story line was not at all smooth and resolutions were almost afterthoughts - like the author suddenly remembered that she’d placed that crumb and needed to resolve it.

Also - puh-leese quit with the love triangle.

Personally I like Ken but not for Cookie. He needs a cooler chick.

Anyway, I’ll read the next one to see if Rose Pressey can bring it back.

Plus - I really hate the name of the store. It’s damn stupid.

Yet another love triangle? I have been reading cozy's for quite some time and that seems to be the norm, however, I did read this fairly quickly, it was hard to put down at times. Wind Song the cat is Cookie's Grandmother? I'm looking forward to reading the next book to see how that all pans out!!

Another good one in this series. I'm not sure how Cookie can keep things straight when the ghosts are chatting with her and she's trying not to answer, but ends up doing it anyway. There sure was a lot going on in this one. Kept me going trying to figure out who killed Julianna. A very interesting ending.

Somewhat corny and repetitive, I still find it a cute series. I do love everything about the vintage fashions. Some of the characters are great. The villains in this book remind me of overacting silent film stars. I’ll read the next one anyway.
