This volume of Charlie Brown's 'Cyclopedia came out in 1978, the the Space Travel is all about the Apollo missions to the Moon. A thorough review of the Apollo program, which is now over 50 years old and very groovy. My son really enjoyed this book, especially Snoopy "first Beagle to the Moon."
I quite enjoyed reading this book. It had a lot of good information with Peanuts cartoons interspaced in between. It was published in 1980 so some of the information was a little outdated, and their prediction of us living on space colonies at the end was really far-fetched, but the information they had was still good.
It is laid out in a series of questions and answers and easy to read that way. Also the information built on itself in a logical fashion. It was a good book for children; informative, but not full of large, technical words.

I had the whole set of the Charlie Brown encyclopaedias and loved them dearly. My favourites were the one about dinosaurs and the one about the human body.
Fun, but dated. A good extra for elementary bookworms, particularly those that like lots of non-fiction content, but not a primary educational resource.
