Great book if you feel like giving your life a stylish makeover. I like that it doesnt tell you to be someone your not, its about being the best version of you while offering timless beauty and style advice.

Had some good advice about organising your wardrobe and personal style, and the authors keep a pleasant, positive tone throughout. It could have done without the interviews at the end of each chapter and the section on lifestyle, which was a bit vague.
It’s a very nice book. Great for coffee tables. The graphic is spectacular. The info is very pertinent but a bit outdated towards the end and that is why I only gave it 4 stars.
Actually 3.5: nice, but not essential, still a good book to visit.
This is a 21-day activity challenge with daily activities plus questions to, and advise from, experts. The subjects are: personal assessment, inspirations, mood board, essentials of the wardrobe (that is, basics), closet organisation, skin care, hair, body care, make up and hair care, getting dressed quick, scents, shoes, accessories, street wear, personal style, quirks within a look, selfies, shopping, home and other lifestyle, trend following, and keeping on being stylish even in older age.
Of course, doing all these in 21 days is a bit of hard work, so reading through and noting what one needs to have ready is good (especially moneywise). Also some steps will sometimes end up being not done or only partly if one's not interested despite being a woman, at least in my case (only partial interest in skincare, hair, photographing self and following the media, and no interest in makeup or high-heel shoes even at their minimum heights)... but aside from being picky, this is not a bad book, not essential but at least worth borrowing, I'd say :)
This is a fun and easy read about finding your own style, and gaining personal confidence. Originally written in French, it contains some French references, and interviews with French women with whom I was not previously familiar. The crux of the book is to follow a 21 day challenge which will help you to develop yourself. Daily challenges involve the usual style stuff of creating a mood board, looking after your skin, hair and body, assessing your wardrobe, using makeup, perfume, etc. A daily challenge is a fun idea, but there is nothing new covered here that is not covered in other style books. Still, is has a fun, colourful layout with room for notes, interviews with noted style personalities, and Vatasso encourages readers to share the results of completing the challenge on Instagram, bringing an interactive element to the book.
The book was okay I really found nothing new that has not been written in magazines or on the internet.
There are lot of pretty photos of products in the book and it seems like a magazine or an ad for all the branded stuff.
The English translation is a little off in some places. Clearly, it was originally written in French.
I found the interviews with models, fashionistas at the end of each chapter extremely cliched. Something on how we used to write in slam books when we were teens. All the extremely skinny models claim to love/can't live without junk food and eat lots of it which is total bullshit. Also, a lot of the advice they gave seemed trite - YOLO, Be confident blah blah.
Some of the advice the author gives is in direct contrast with the advice from interviewee's. For example, the author says don't pout in selfies, the interviewee says pouting in a selfie is a must. So, who are we supposed to follow?
Some of the advice the author gives are just promoting her own industry - Buy fashion magazines because they are full of wisdom and you learn a lot (they are full of ads and I don't really learn that much) and meaningless advice along branded stuff etc.
The only thing I liked was that the book focuses on gorgeousness in all aspects of life and tells people to focus on learning, knowledge, home etc.
