This particular Gooseberry Patch cookbook Fun Fall Foods may not have all recipes that I particularly like, but this book does contain a wealth of tips that are really good. I did find that Egg Mini Bread Bowls is a recipe that really resonated with me even it wasn't in the normal recipe area but in the "tips" at the bottom of one of the pages. I also thought the Breakfast Cookies might be something that could be made ahead for a long car trip as it's touted as a "grab and go" breakfast and would be healthier than swinging through the drive-thru at a fast food restaurant and probably less messy and I've always wanted a Gnocchi Soup recipe similar to that of Olive Garden. The tip of using a hollowed out orange to spoon in fruit and turn into a mini Jack-O-Lantern for the kids was particularly delightful because my grand-daughter just realized just how much she enjoyed the fruit salad recipe passed down to me by my mother. All in all, it is worth the purchase price.
