The cover is very awesome! I love it!
I bought this book in August 2017, but I’m reading it now because I need to read the latest release and want to read them in order. Anyone else have the problem of too many awesome books and not enough time to read! This book is a novella of about 118 pages, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content and violence.
This is Remy’s story. He is restless and heads out for an adventure. He finds it and lots of trouble with Saffron. They are true mates, and this is definitely a story packed with action, trouble, and so much more. As always Zoe Chant has a great mix that makes her HEAs wonderful! I love her books and can’t wait to read more!
I highly recommend to any shifter fan who loves awesome HEAs with a great mix of action and romance!

Bad Boy Biker Bear is the second book in the Bears of Pinerock County series and I loved reentering this world. I loved the first book and have been nervous that perhaps it was a fluke. But again, this one held my attention and I couldn’t stop once I picked it up. We meet Saffron, a fox shifter who is being forced to marry the alpha of a shifter pack who has been terrorizing her small town. On the day of her wedding she manages to escape and makes a run for it where she bumps into and meets her mate. Remy is feeling restless and decides he needs to take off for a while. This causes problems in his own pack and especially with his alpha, but his bear assures him he needs to leave. And it turns out it is because he needs to meet his mate. An exciting chase ensures as the pack hunt Remy and Saffron and it turns out with eagle shifters in the air scouting and spying, there is nowhere they can hide that is safe. Their safest option might just be Pinerock County. But will Remy’s pack and alpha take them in?
Great writing, fantastic story and an ending which will make you happy sigh. A must rest for fans of paranormal romance.

I love Zoe Chant's books! This story is about bear shifter, Remy. He's restless and longing to hit the road on his motorcycle, not sit on the ranch with his brothers and cousin! Giving in to temptation, he sets out and immediately finds his true mate, Saffron, running from a marriage she doesn't want, still wearing her wedding dress. Remy saves her and returns with her to the ranch where he knows his clan can protect her. Between his alpha's disapproval and the danger to Saffron, their romance is challenged over and over again.
I loved the setting of this at a family ranch, run by protective bears. I do love protective heroes! It reminds me a lot of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. There was great action, as well as rumblings of discord as the clan adjusts their way of thinking about having women on the ranch. It's a great shifter romance that I'll probably read again...but not until I finish reading the rest of the series and learn about the other bear clan's fated mates.

This was a sweet, sexy, and exciting novella with a side of danger. Saffron is a fox shifter who ran rather then be forced to marry the alpha of the local shifter gang. Remy is a bear shifter who is drawn to the road following a dream girl and his instincts. When they meet they instantly recognize that they are mates. To get to their HEA, they will have to come up with a plan while evading the violent shifter gang and dealing with clan politics. The story includes what you’d expect from romantic suspense - fighting, dangerous situations, paranormal creatures, evil masterminds, henchmen, loyal friends and family, tragic back stories, love, fated mates, and laughs. While short, the characters were well developed and the story was well written. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Baby bear finds his mate. Remy is the baby of his bear clan and not sure of his place in the world. He hits the open road on his bike and stops to add a damsel in distress who to his immense please is his mate. Saffron is a fox shifter on the run from the local shifter gang who's alpha wants to force her to marry him. Their joy at finding each other takes a back seat to outrunning the gang. Remy's uncertain of his status with his clan but when he needs them most, he calls on them for help. Messing with the Pinerock clan is always a bad bet. A sexy, quick, action packed read and strong entry in the series.

I really liked this book that brought the small town girl Saffron, together with the supposedly bad boy biker Remy, a grizzly shifter. So Here’s Saffron, a fox shifter, running from a dead end , loveless upcoming marriage only to run right into her true mate on the Highway after a chase from the town bully Creed and his Black Wing motorcycle clan. Exciting....yes! Does she escape Creed’s clutches with her true mate? Read it and see.....this book will keep you on your toes.

Good fun read on the run.
Loved this story of Remy the naughty brother and how he meets his mate when she is running away from her town due to the awful biker alpha there wanting her for his own.
Instead of it always being human women, I liked that Saffron was also a fox shifter, missing it up keeps a series fresh for me.
Felt sorry for Saffron and the townsfolk where she came from having to live in that awful atmosphere.
Loved the ending but would love to know what Alec said to Clint.

Lauren Esker gives a fantastic view into how family and pack can come together in times of adversity to help family members survive horrible situations. All of Cody’s pack come to their rescue after Cody finds Saffron(his fated mate) on the run from a vicious pack in a wedding dress no less! This is a fun , sexy and harrowing read ! Quick shifter romance
I like that there is no angsty build up in the relationship. They literally meet, and because they are mates, fall deeply in love. Their clan is growing with each mate found, both in numbers and emotionally. Remy’s easy going, always smiling personality makes for decent book bf material. But seriously, what do he and Saffron (stupid name imo) do for work? He occasionally works on the ranch. How are they affording to build a house? And matching motorcycles?

That was crazy how the psycho clan was trying 2 b a little 2 old fashioned and constantly causing trouble 4 the town she was from. when he went 4 a drive after a fight with his alpha he got 1 he'll of a surprise but with trouble on their ass. Can they get his clan 2 get there and help them b4 it's 2 late? That was really good!! I was surprised about the different animals in the other crazy clan of misfits.

Ok, I really enjoyed the parts that I read and absolutely love her other series Agent Shifters SCB, etc. but for me the story ratio to sex scenes just to thin. When you read a lot of books they have even less interest in the short ones as hard to have any emotional attachment to characters especially with insta love mates. So because a series I know a bit more of Remy but just not enough and Saffron seemed to only think about sex so this fell flat except for

Wow, Saffron was in trouble from the very beginning with Creed after her and she was lucky she got away just in time. Meeting Remy was a miracle in itself but then being her mate was great. Really liked this book. It kept to the characters and the story. I would have liked to have gotten more about Saffron’s parents after the dealings with Creed and his crew, but overall the story was really good. Thanks for sharing.

Even more action!
Great main and secondary characters with a lot of action, some steamy scenes, and a sexy bad boy bear shifter! We get to meet Saffron, who is a fox shifter, running away from a really bad situation. We also see Remy come into his own. Can't wait to read the next one with Alec up! Enjoy, but do read these in order.

I was on a Sci Fi binge now I am on a Paranormal shifter binge and that is how I came across Zoe's books. Once I find an author whose books I like I will read them all and let me tell you Zoe has a lot. They are quick and easy reads. Some serious some make me laugh but all have danger and fated mates.
I enjoy paranormal stories as they take you away from everyday life and anything goes.

I liked their cute/meet on the highway and both automatically recognized they were fated mates. Runaway bride
This is an interesting story which starts with a runaway bride, being chased by the bad guys. The action is good,the story is a bit predictable but the writing is great and the characters and dialogue really make the story

3 1/ 2 stars ( I round up ) a okay installment of the story, however I still felt like it needed more. The villain was just a name, he had no presence so he was very flat as a villain goes. The action was also a little lacking.

Disappearing Knife Cuts Holes In The Plot
As much as I love Zoe's work, this one has some plot holes. How were the bad guys able to find them so easily so many times? Why didn't she use the knife? What really happened to her parents? So many more questions and no real answers.

This story has mystery, suspense, danger, great humor and of course love/romance what a great story!
Remy, Grizzly Bear and Saffron, Fox are fated mates. They both knew the moment they met Zoe Chant is another of my favorite authors
