Animal Show and Tell
Animals of the Ocean
Animal Show and Tell is a charming introduction to animals and the primary grade science curriculum. Young readers will gravitate to the colorful, full-page photographs. The simple text, told from the animals’ point of view, introduces readers to animal characteristics and habitats.

This book is pretty simple. Did enjoy the pictures and different animals. Great for all kids under 6.

This book and the others in the series are awful! I wish I could give them a zero rating because they do not desire any stars. The text is overly simple for all but the smallest children (ie. 3 yrs old) and I did not like the writing style which had all the animals speaking in the first person. Despite the fact that the description of each animal is extremely short, they don't include the obvious characteristics and include crazy irrelevant things. These books unfortunately remind me of the Dick and Jane books that I was forced to read as a child. Children are not stupid! The authors and publisher of these books should be embarrassed.

This book does have animals of the ocean for a very young audience, but it does not differentiate between the many different ocean habitats of the animals included. Some mention of the differing depths +/or temperatures would have been a good idea. The pictures are fantastic.

Good simple introduction to animals in the ocean. Good way to expose kids that might not otherwise know what some of these animals are.
