This book, for me, does so many well worn tropes well and at the same time.
We have prim, uptight aunt caring for her wild child sister's baby in a small mountain town who has to do the right thing and tell the bad boy singer song writer father the news of his daddyhood.
They are oil and water, pretty and plain, starch and cotton and it is the best! This book is funny and aching and sweet and harsh. Everyone grows. Everyone has a good time with the kooky town and relatives.
I like this series but even if I didn't I would still love this book.
Dang. I just made myself want to reread it again! Hidden Treasure!
