I have to admit, when I first started reading this book, I was a little lost. It had been too long (and too many books in the interim) since I read Soulsearch, and I couldn't remember the significance of Michael and Jessica. I was confused, as there was no mention of Rider, Rachel, Paige, Zach or Cody.

Despite my confusion, I continued reading and was swept into this magical tale of a guardian angel and the love of his life- a human he wasn't supposed to be guarding. It was fascinating and emotional, a powerful story of hope, courage, and the willingness to do anything to be with your soulmate.

Eventually things clicked into place and I thought "Oh yeah! That's who they are!" haha So, I guess the point of this is that without even seeing the connection to the first two books, I was enthralled. Great storytelling will do that for you. It was a perfect ending for this wonderful trilogy.

Very good read with HEA. If I say any more I risk giving away the story so "mum's the word". Thanks!

Well, I didn't expect this story to complete the series, but it actually worked. At first I was missing the main characters of the other books in this collection, I was thinking please get back to them, but then I became totally entranced in The story and realised by the end, that actually the series needed this kinda prologue to understand Why everything happened. I have really enjoyed this series and would recommend

I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I really liked this book. It focused more on Michael and his story than Rider or Cody, but it explained how things had progressed to where they'd been. It was kind of a mix between a prequel and a third book in a trilogy, but now I have more questions... I hope there is another book or perhaps a spinoff series. Overall, the series was very good and I recommend you read it.
