100 stelline a questo libro, divertente anzi di più!!! Se si vogliono passare un paio d'ore ridendo come pazze, questa è la storia giusta!!! Già mi piaceva questa autrice, ora la adoro ancora di più!!! Ha saputo creare dei personaggi davvero comici!!!

To stop her parents from filing for divorce - Lynn decides to get them together by giving them a common goal. And that goal is to split Lynn up from her hell-raising new boyfriend. But now she just needs to find someone to play the part.

Fellow lawyer Tony Russo is much more GQ then Hell's Angels and he's reluctant to help Lynn in his schemes. But after his transformation he looks like just the kind of tattooed, leather wearing bad boy that Lynn's parents will unite to remove from her life.

But with his irresistible new look and devastating kisses, Lynn keeps forgetting that it's all just an act...

Vicki Lewis Thompson has once again delivered a funny and fresh romance that doesn't disappoint. Both Lynn and Tony are really enjoyable characters and I enjoyed Tony's portrayal of the bad boy and the fact that he was honest about his feelings from the start. And Lynn's parents were hilarious, even managing to upstage the main couple on occasion. The book isn't filled with sex and concentrates much more on the fun and romance then many other books by Vicki Lewis Thompson. However, it's still a fun, enjoyable, page-turner of a book that I'm sure that you will enjoy.

I do have to make comment on the cover of the edition that I bought and read - a purple/blue cover with 2 models. I'm not sure if it's just me but the picture of the couple is so unflattering and is just horrid. I know we're not supposed to judge a book by its cover - and you really shouldn't with this particular book - but seriously, there wasn't a better image?

That's just me being grumpy and obviously I didn't let this affect my rating. 5 stars from me.

With her usual humour, Vicki Lewis Thompson has managed to make me laugh - again and again and again!
This book had be bursting out in fits of spontaneous laughter. Lynn's parents are hilarious - they obviously love each other, and yet they always try to one-up each other.
The only thing I didn't really care for at first was Lynn herself. Basically, in the beginning, there was something about her I didn't really like. Maybe it was because she was so easily embarrassed, or that she obviously had such low self-esteem or something; I'm not sure. But I liked her much more after she loosened up.
Jeff and Calvin were really funny. Like they kept popping up all over the place like moles in a Whack-A-Mole game! And all that stuff Jeff said about vortexes vortices having genders and all - wow!
Overall, the humour made up for Lynn's unlikeability in the beginning. Great book, would recommend it even to teenagers because it isn't all that steamy actually - which is pretty uncharacteristic of the author, now that I think about it.

I'm setting this one aside for now, because it's tamer than I'm in the mood for reading right now. It is also an older novel, so Lynn and Tony's definition of a "bad-ass" is more greaser-type than my normal definition of "bad-ass" [ie. criminal, gang-member, biker, tattoo-covered fighter:].

Has promise, I'm just not really in the right frame of mind to stay with it right now.
