This was the precursor to my own wartime experience, so this was worth the read. Further, I did a lot of missions in support of the gyrenies so I couldn't pass up this book when I found it at the used book store. I brought back a lot of memories, good and bad. If you want more insight into the experiences in Iraq, read this book.
