This was a perfect Christmas epilogue for the Dirt Track Dogs! It was focused on Blister and Annie (who might be my favorite couple) but the entire crew and their progeny were in the story. So much fun catching up with them and seeing all the babies!
If for nothing else, you should read this just to hear how Blister encourages Annie through labor. Too funny!
Love, love, love, Blister and Annie. I was glad to see all the Dirt Track Dogs and their families.
Annie's brother is a piece of work but I think he is redeemable. It'll be interesting to see if he gets a story and what it is. I would like to see where he's been and what happened to make him the way he is.
***** Terrific shifter Christmas !!! ***** This can be a stand alone, but is richer if you know this awesome group. Annie is pregnant, and the pack is excited, but Blister is afraid nothing will go right. Annie touched his scarred face and thought he was the most beautiful man she'd ever seen. Her brother with an attitude came to visit, what was up there?
Blister figured... "The day-to-day stresses might seem like giants sometimes, but under the filter of family and love, they were nothing more than ants..."
The other characters are funny, caring and lively. "Punk" and her bluntness had Arron squirming "...he looked as comfortable as a teenage boy talking about periods." :)
Once Blister feels the baby move, he realizes this is a miracle.
He talks to her tummy..."now be careful with your mommy you hear? She's very special, and makes very good food, and I love her. You'll see when you get here."
His protectiveness now expanded. Annie's estranged brother Aaron shows up, ready to kill the "changers", but the Dirt Track Dogs change his mind, along with little Gracie and her magic hugs. Gracie tells Aaron she wished he was a duck shifter so she could call him Uncle Scrooge, 'cuz he was grumpy, but then decided he just needed extra love. Aaron thought he'd known what all shifters were like, and the DTD group was the opposite. He realized this pack was good, caring, giving, like the saints of the shifter world, so he left to tie up his loose ends and he'd be back.
Christmas DTD style was a blessing in itself. A nursery to set up, a parade of cars, a new baby named Everly, a little fun, and a changed heart - perfection. Blister had a talk with little Everly, and it was so adorable. Loved this story !!! Highly recommend ! ENJOY !!! :)
OMG!!! P. Jameson just rocked the Christmas stories this year with her book "Home For the Holidays: A Dirt Track Dog Christmas. This is one book I would give a million stars to if I had them and I will definitely buy it so I can read it again. It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!! P. Jameson's Dirt Track Dogs are my favorite of her books, but "Home For the Holidays" has really set the margin for her writing ability. This book really fed on my emotions. I cried, laughed and smiled through the whole book. Could not put it down till it was finished. The book captured my attention from the time I started reading it till I finished. The characters flowed wit.h the story line and they stayed to character from their own stories.
With end of the racing season for the year the Dirt Track Dogs are ready to Celebrate Christmas and the birth of the new addition to their pack.
Blister is scared from the fire that killed his entire pack except for him and the rest of the Dirt Track Dogs. He has come a long ways from sleeping in a tent in the woods and sleeping on the floor next to the love of his life, his mate Annie. Blister loves his mate and wants a family so bad, but he is having doubts about whether or not he will be a good father. Even though he has claimed Annie heart, body and soul he is scared that he will let her down. Annie is a patient mate who lets him know that she believes in him, and because of this Blister is trying his best to not let her down.
With the appearance of a estranged family member, Annie's brother Aaron, the pack pulls together to support Annie and Blister. Oh and lets not forget Annie's friend Punk and her way of not holding anything back. You will laugh so hard. Plus a 5 year old will change everyone's view on the meaning of Christmas after she weeds her way into the heart of Aaron. Now this is a holiday the Dirt Track Dogs will never forget.
This book shows the real meaning of Christmas and the love of friends and family. Definitely a book you don't want to miss.
This was a sweet Christmas encounter between the pack. It was a nice compliment to the series. The adorable and sassy Grace is still the cutest kid. I hope Annie’s brother Arron gets his story because I think it would be really intriguing to find out what he’s been doing for the last nine years. Until next time y’all happy reading.
A cute shifter holiday read that mainly focuses on Annie and Blister and their pregnancy. Annie's brother, Aaron, returns home unexpectedly and the reason for it was a huge shocker. The ending is left open, there are still a lot of questions that I hope will be answered in future books.
Enjoyed this story so much. Great catching up with the others and grace who is a little cutie, but Annie and blisters joyful story was a good one. It also introduces Aaron her brother whose story I’ve read out if sequence. Nice read.
Christmas with the Dirt Track Dogs. As the gang gear up for Christmas and the birth of Annie and Blister's first young, a surprise visitor arrives. Shakes things up. Loved the series. I'm going to miss the characters.
Awesome! As Christmas approaches Blister is having fears that he will lose her attention and worse she will stop loving him. So many presents to unwrap and stocking filled with coal. Drama and a great story.
I like how blister’s demons didn’t all miraculously disappear when he mated. He is better but he accrued these demons since childhood. Wish the mom Could have shown up for Xmas
I love watching all the babies in this story. Once again Blister had me wanting to smack him over the back of the head, but it was a wonderful visit with all of the players in this wonderful world.
Home for the Holidays: (A Dirt Track Dogs 6) by P. Jameson – Annie’s brother Aaron decides to cause some Christmas chaos, but the pack has some surprises for him! Happy Holiday Reading!
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, DIRT TRACK DOGS STYLE !!! Title: Home for the Holidays Series: Dirt Track Dogs Designation: Book Six, Standalone Novella, NO Cliffhanger Author: P. Jameson Reading Platform: Kindle Unlimited My Rating: FIVE HEARTWARMING STARS***** I never tire of reading about the Dirt Track Dogs so I was simply over the moon when I discovered that Jameson was releasing a Christmas story featuring our favorite racing wolf pack. Naturally, I had high expectations and Jameson did not disappoint, but she never does. I can always count on her to deliver a well crafted and beautifully written story that will tug on your heartstrings while warming the cockles of your heart. Home for the Holidays is the sixth release in Jameson's Dirt Track Series but every single one of these novellas can be read as a standalone and they all end with a sweet and emotional happily ever after. However, having said that, I would like to highly recommend reading the entire series. I can guarantee you'll never be sorry you invested your time or your money. If you love paranormal romance filled to the brim with a little dirt track racing, a lot of hysterical humor, a liberal splash of heart-pounding drama, a dash of heartbreaking angst, and a whole heaping helping of heated attraction, fiery passion and steamy dreamy romance, then you are sure to enjoy not only this story, but every one of the books in the series. Although this story primarily features Blister and Annie, two of my favorite characters from Racing Home, Book Three of the series, all of the Dirt Track Dogs play an important role in this wonderful Christmas story along with their mates and their younglings. And we even have estranged family member, Aaron Redmond, finally making a long overdue appearance. Nine years ago after the drowning death of his and Annie's parents, he left Cedar Valley, leaving his twin sister Annie without any explanation to look after their parents dream, The Red Cap Bar and Restaurant. Now that Annie has a mate of four years and expecting her and Blister's first child, Aaron makes a surprise visit home, in the middle of the night with no warning at all. At least it's a complete surprise to Blister when he discovers that the intruder he just attacked in their home and almost killed is Annie's brother. Huh? Oh my! Talk about bad first impressions! Needless to say, with only three weeks until Christmas and Annie's due date quickly approaching, it's only natural that Blister is feeling overly protective and a little insecure. Sadly, it seems Aaron is not the same kind, loving brother Annie remembers and obviously, has some pretty big secrets which he is determined not to share but one thing is fairly obvious, he does NOT like shifters or changers as he calls them. But just what are those secrets and why does he hate shifters? Could he and his secrets be dangerous to Annie, Blister and the entire pack? We'll see! No spoilers from me but I will say this....A very nervous and worried expectant wolf shifter father-check! A beautiful very pregnant human mate-check! A visit from an estranged brother with a lot of secrets who is need of an attitude adjustment-check! A cast of wonderful characters-check! Humor, family, unconditional love and a story filled with the true spirit of Christmas-you bet! That and a whole lot more! What didn't I like about this story? Not a darn thing! What did I love about this story? Everything! Would I recommend this story? In a heartbeat! I'm not a professional reviewer but I do know what I like, what I love and what I don't and I can truthfully say, I loved this story! And they lived happily 'Everly' after! (No, Everly is not a mistake. If you want to know what it means, you'll have to read the story) Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!
Wow, I do enjoy a good shifter book, and this one is different from the others I've read. Annie & Blister are beauty & the beast of the shifter world! She has rescued him from himself & in turn has been given unconditional love & a baby in her belly! Annie's brother Aaron returns after 9 yrs away, determine to destroy the Dirt Track Pack. Somehow, a young shifter named Gracie makes Aaron rethink his reasons for returning. He can also see how much Blister loves his sister & is willing to protect her & his young until the death. This is a new author to me, and I am pleasantly surprised. This isn't your typical shifter book & for that I am grateful! Read on, you won't be disappointed!
Awww Blister! He's going through some stuff still but he's still damn sweet and Annie is so patient with him. She is sooo pregnant in this one and he's freaking a lot. Twist is her brother Aaron comes back and its not all glad tidings. He's become a Shifter/changer hunter...kills shifters no matter what. That reunion didnt go well at all! Ugh...he was such a nasty jerk! I mean he did turn it around sorta but its hard to tell. Come one Ms. Jameson you better tell his story! LOL. OMG...I laughed sooo hard at the elephant car and when they told Blister to "cheer" her on in labor! HAHA. Loved the story!
I love Blister. I was so happy this one was about him. I hope there is a book with Aaron Redman and Rigor, this is the third book he has been mentioned in in this series and the Ouachita series. I loved this series and thought this was an adorable end to it. I thought it was adorable when he was sleeping in front of the tree, and didn't even tell her why-she had to figure it out haha. He had a baby! Well, not him, it's not physically possible...but he helped! when he cheered her on during labor, I laughed so hard! It was so cute! I loved him. Favorite character in this series by far.
I loved Anna and Blister. Nice Christmas story. It was a little on the unfinished about a backstory of Aaron. I loved it if u could finish Asron's story. I want to know what happened
Great addition to this wonderful series. I love Annie and Blister and it was wonderful getting to see another story with them again. I really hope we get to read more stories about the future Dirt Track Dogs.
I definitely needed more of Blister and Annie. Their previous story needed a little more depth and her brother, Aaron, was needed to finish the tale. I wonder if Aaron story first is he's here or will be starting up another series. His story ends Annie's but his own story is unfished.
Loved this Dirt Track Dogs Christmas story. Blister and Annie are preparing for Christmas along with the gang. Blister and his uncertainty create some issues, along with the unexpected intruder. The whole gang is in to parenting this Christmas Season.
