Decoherence by Liana Brooks is by far the most, dark and haunting read I have read. This time, travel is creepier than the others I have read. Travel in time and the possibility of dying in the future or past is a real danger to the agents. Agents that have been trained to go on missions using a time travel device. The death of innocents to prevent the future disaster coming soon seems like nothing to the scientist behind the machine. Yet the agents aka warriors feel the pain and frustration of their work. Some don't know all the answers yet others can guess what's going on pretty easily. Suspense is an element that is deeply embedded into this tale. Readers won't know what will happen or what the characters will do to change or prevent certain outcomes from happening. Danger, destruction, and death seem to hang in the air every day, where the characters are concerned. Liana Brooks knew how to draw her readers into her world of fiction and keep them entertained until they reach the last page.
Decoherence is a time travel novel that reads more like a dark thriller. Liana Brooks will keep readers on the edge of their seats as the race along with the main character in rescuing her husband. A mystery of deaths that bring Sam's hair on edge as she tries to defy everything in order to save the one she loves. The intensity of this story will hook readers in forever. I was dragged into it and didn't want the novel to end. There's mystery, intrigue and a little romance to satisfy readers every taste. The risks are high and time will be hard to beat. Decoherence is a novel worth reading. Kept me guessing. Gripping, edgy, and well-written. Overall, I highly recommend Liana Brooks' stunning book to all.

The conclusion of a trilogy. Interesting but really confusing if the first two are not read. Good story with-in the main story and it does stand alone. The main characters of this tale knew outcome of the story that would of made more sense if readers had read the first two. Read the series in order. Later. Keep Reading.

Another Amazing Science-Fiction Police Procedural - socks stayed on but can't find shoes
I want to sit down and create a timeline ... line?, woven cloth matrix folded in parts, wibbly-wobbly time knot ... anyway, I would like to try to create a iteration and people tracking tool to follow this story through the three books of the series. I am totally going to do this sometime - likely in three or four years. If I come back to books (and I will with this series), it usually takes me around half a decade.
This is not a stand-alone book. Read books one and two before reading book three.
The third of the series science fiction world-building isn't as strong as the first two, which isn't surprising since by this time the world has been defined. The romance established in the second book has been solidified by the third. The police procedural isn't quite as clear cut to follow as the first two books as the world(s) spiral toward decoherence.
So the story didn't knock my socks off as much as the first two - on the other hand, I still can't find my shoes.

Liana succeeds in tying up the tangled threads of her multi-universe time travel series. Heros and dogs looking at a bright future.
