Lure Academy is a wonderfully different and super-hot read! Sophie, Kain & Alexi are strong, compelling characters full of depth and they easily lure readers into their story. The relationship between these three is complex as Alexi and Kain tip toe around their attraction to each other and neither seem to be aware of the reasons that they both want to mentor Sophie in her new lifestyle. The romance is sweet at times, full of volcanic passion and turbulent emotions that keep the relationship on rocky ground, especially as outside influences on personal demons add to the tension.
The plot is fast paced and mostly about the relationship between the threesome and Sophie’s introduction to the world of cambions, but there is plenty of thrilling suspense as the threesome are sent on Sophie’s first mission and secrets come to light. Although readers may feel that there should have been a bit more to the story or that there is something missing in places, the author has created a fascinating world with some unique elements that adds to the reading experience and ensures that readers keep turning the pages.

I absolutely LOVE reading a series once they are finished & all together & "Lure Academy" is no different. I loved reading all 6 installments, I actually waited till all 6 where out before reading these individually... then Cara released the boxset. From the very start of Sophie, Kain & Alexi's story I was intrigued, 1 chapter in & I was HOOKED! From the detailed characters, rich landscapes descriptions, to the histories... let's not forget the detailed sex scenes. With such vivid information, it felt like I was truely there thoughout it all.
In episode 1 'The Midnight Ceremony' Sophie is being escorted up the Carpathian Mountains by Hebe, just 2 days ago she was contemplating finally going to a college in Paris, the thought which terrified her. Her first day at Lure Academy is equally exhillarating & frightening, also it just happens to be the day of the Midnight Ceremony....
In episode 2 'Two Legends' Sophie has found herself possibly making the wrong choice in picking both Alexi & Kain as her mentors, especially after the first failed attempt to bring forth her power. Also Alexi & Kain's inability to work together for whats best for Sophie. As well as learning everything there is to know about her past & the reason behind Lure Academy....
In episode 3 'Her Magic Unleashed' Sophie has been working endlessly in the last 2 weeks since she first arrived at Lure Academy, not only in class but also with Kain & Alexi trying to release her power. Once her magic is unleashed her progress is surprisingly fast. Alexi & Kain are assigned an urgent case, convincing them Sophie is needed, see's Sophie on her first case just 1 month from arriving....
In episode 4 'The Last Ke'let Count' Sophie, Kain & Alexi have arrived in one of the villages close to the Ke'let demon Count D’Argyle's castle hide out. Finding out as much information from the shaman & the local priest, before going undercover. Going undercover for Sophie means hiding her cambion heritage from the Count, so he isn't tipped off that they are there....
In episode 5 'The Hunt' Sophie is kept by Count D'Argyle's side, instantly drawn to her, slowly feeding from her daily, finding herself quickly feeling week. Whilst Kain & Alexi are doing everything they can to figure out the final plan to free all the humans about to culled by all the demons. It isn't until all the demons have arrived & Sophie is able to gain some energy that the details come together....
In episode 6 'Darkness Within' Sophie, Kain & Alexi are trying to make sense just what happened at on their mission. Also Sophie finds herself unsure how incontrol she is sinc the change in her sigil, keeping everyone away while she tries to figure out what it all means. Whilst Alexi is struggling with the knowledge of just who is in the Lure Academy prison. Kain comes to the realisation that what they have is worth fighting for....
I freaking LOVED this series, I honestly hope Cara continues on with some of the other characters within this series & makes a spinoff series somehow... or maybe a series of Sophie, Kain & Alexi's missions?? I really don't care what this women writes I MUST read it.

Oh wow I couldn't put it down. Great book can't wait to see what happens next? Will she regret her choice? Will the guys work together? Whats to hapoen next?

She is having issues dealing with her new life. Her insecurity is high. Will her 2 mentors finally get her to bring down her walls? Whats to happen now?
Book 3 Her Magic Unleashed
She is coming into her powers quickly. When the guys are asked to go on a mission they choose her to go with them. Just before they are to go Alexi's secret is exposed. What will hapoen now?

I really enjoyed this series and I could read a lot more of the individuals at Lure Academy. The relationship and story behind Sophie, Alexi and Kain was so intriguing. As each story unfolded you saw more of the backgrounds of each character and what cause them to be they way they are. We have all read about Demons, Angels, Sucubbi and Incubus, but this book takes on a new view if them and what happens when they mate with humans. The books in this set are....

This is a great spin on the existence of incubi and succubi and their role on earth both as demons and constant contact with humanity. The fact that none of the characters are underage, think of Lure more as a post graduate Academy than college, made all the difference. Natures of the demons are explored, nothing is oversighted, but also romantic relations are woven in their sexual natures. Awesome characters, steamy book (as any about sex demons should be) and nice description of how a three way romantic relationship should work. Very well done. I hope there's more to come.

Lure Academy by Cara Wylde is a wonderful story to read. When you read this story you will be like WOW this is one wonderful story to read. This story is about cambions – the offspring of incubi and succubi. They come to Lure Academy to learn how to control their powers and to use them to protect humans. I am so in love with this story and can not wait to see what the author writes about next, I highly recommend this story to anyone who love to read about cambions – the offspring of incubi and succubi.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. It is a very hot story. I have to say that my favorite character is Alexi. There is just something about him that is over the top. I love the concept of Lure Academy to train Cambions and the Midnight Ceremony is cool especially when she gets the both Alexi and Kain and they are said to be the best the academy have to offer. I enjoyed reading this book.

Sophie, Kain and Alexi have there work cut out for them. Not only does Sophie have to understand and get a hold of her powers, but the future holds a case for all three.

Great Storyline
I really did enjoy this book and the characters within the storyline. I would have loved to see more of an ending regarding the midnight ceremony and some additional elements in the storyline related to Sophie getting able to utilize her extra powers. Overall, still really enjoyed the book!

Loved this concept. The characters are amazing together. I would really love a sequel series or just more books to this one! So much potential for an even lower and better series in my opinion!

Spelling and grammar errors are sadly not enough to detract from the plot holes. One of which is wrapped up by dumping the mains in bed with each other....well most of which are resolved by sex. Not satisfying.

When I started reading this I wasn’t sure what I was getting into,but all I can say is,it was hard to put down. This was very steamy and funny in some parts and it always kept me on the edge of my seat.

Alexi, Kain & Sophie are the main characters in this story & they are supposed to be 1/2 human & 1/2 demons called cambions with unique powers once they bring out their signals. At 1st when you meet Alexi & Kain you don't think that they like each other but as the story continues you find out that they do & were fighting their attraction to each other. Sophie chooses both of them as her mentors & she becomes the reason that Alexi & Kain can finally work together. This book contains lots of sex scenes between the 3 of them & just between Alexi & Kain; it also has somewhat of a good vs bad plot to it & that's why I'm giving this a 4 star review. The pace of this book is a steady pace but I did finish reading this book in 1 day.

The stories are great
Love the way the series fit together. Innovative, sexy, good action and a great cast. The characters have depth, feelings and courage. Loved every story.

I am not a fan of m/m but this ménage story would definitely not have worked without it.
I love that it was a follow through story line and not all about sex.

Pleasant surprise
I don't normally care for many paranormal romances, but for some reason decided to give this one a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. It was a great story and very difference than most of the paranormals that I have read. All 3 characters each had their own issues that together helped them work as a whole. It would be nice to see more stories about the other cambion and their training as well.
