This story portrays a baby duck who is loving, friendly, and happy everywhere he goes because he knows Jesus is watching over him. The baby duck displays a good example to children by showing them how they should act and treat others. Although the book was very simple and light-hearted there were many significant underlying messages. For example, "Serving him moment to moment; then live with him on high." This line has a deeper meaning to it, and not all children will be able to understand this message. This book would be great for Sunday school lessons at church, but not in an ordinary classroom because of the religious significance.

I love this book so much. I love singing this song with little children. The illustrator did such an amazing job. The art work is heart rending. You could read this book over and over again. I have read it to both my grandkids. Peter saying DUCK over and over makes this book even more adorable.

Normally children’s books struggle with having too much text, but I found this one to have the opposite problem... it took about forty seconds to read the entire thing

I really liked this book. I was surprised to find out that this book/ song is not of LDS origin. This book teaches children to be happy and to help others. It promotes good feelings and service. I would recommend this book to children of all ages. This book would be fun to use in primary to give the children something to think about as they are singing the song. I do not think I would use this book in School because of its religious content.

For anyone familiar with the church song, this pairs the lyrics to adorable pictures. I really like it because it continues on with an extra verse. Makes a great gift.

I would have this book in my library. I would say this book is very engaging for children because of the cute little ducky who is doing good deeds. The artwork is very bright and happy.

This book was nice. It had cute pictures and a cute message, but there wasn't a whole lot of purpose of the book. It was still really cute though.

I really enjoyed this book. I don't know where the duck came from, but the artwork in the book was great. There was a lot to keep you entertained along with the words of the book. It was great!
