Vandaag hoefde ik niet naar school. Want ik had waterpokken. Ik vind het in elk geval heel erg saai. Dat is ook geen wonder, want ik heb per slot van rekening geen enkele hobby. Hoewel mama zei dat ik er wel eentje heb. Blokfluitspelen namelijk. Ja, duh! Samen met Chloë ging ik echt coole hobby's bedenken: parachutespringen, duiken met haaien, dinosaurusskeletten opgraven of iets in die stijl. Alleen wisten we jammer genoeg niet hoe we dat moesten doen. Niet erg: binnenkort zouden we toch beroemd worden. En wel als hoofdrolspeelsters in een film met Timo Tuttelaar, de allerschattigste filmster van de hele wereld (dat vindt Chloë tenminste)!

I am an adult German learner. I'm at a strong A2 CEFR level. I read this book to help with my German. I had to stop to look up some words and phrases, but I could understand much of it. The many illustrations helped me to understand. All that, and the story was entertaining.
