For the middle grade reader. Insightful quick story about Gutenberg and only Gutenberg, without weird assides about other things. So far more concise and on topic, just what I was looking for. Also, lovely timeline at the front of the book. But just from reading these few books today, it's amazing how much flux there is in his story from person to person...

We have read a few picture books of Gutenberg and his printing press but this one was by far the best. The narrative is informative and the illustrations are beautiful. A perfect addition to any elementary/middle school library covering the European Reformation time period.
