Rate this book
And Delta will have to use every bit of her courage and determination to capture a killer who is terrorizing people on her beat and murdering them with bizarre and ancient weapons. In her investigation, Delta unravels a mystery that has her best friend, Connie Rivera, slated as the final victim.

To catch the murderer, Delta and Connie, once again, join together in a deadly race against time. Only now, they must enter the complex world of computer games in order to solve the mystery before the murderer can strike again.

In between her tireless investigating, Delta is learning how to maintain a new and very different relationship with Megan Osborne, an ex-prostitute. With portions of her own life finally falling into place, Delta turns her full attention to solving the mystery and saving Connie's life from the hands of a brilliant madman bent on her destruction.

The cast pits Delta's resourcefulness and mettle against one of the most intelligent and insane criminal minds in the country. With the help of an intriguing assortment of supporting characters, Delta and Connie accept the life-and-death challenge from the deranged genius, and put their bravery, skill, wit, and love for each other to the ultimate test of survival.

Way, way too long and drawn out. And the video game story line was boring and made the book hard to read.
