This story is about three billy-goats. It takes place in the mountains and then at a grassy area over a bridge. The problem though is that there is a grumpy, old troll living under the bridge that won't let them pass to get to the grassy area. They try to cross the bridge. The littlest billy-goat goes first by trying to talk nice to the troll, but the troll yells at him, but still he gets over the bridge because he promises that the next billy-goat will be a bigger meal for him. Next, the second billy-goat tries to get across, but the troll comes out and and yells again, but the billy-goat gets across promising that the third billy-goat will be an even bigger meal. So the third billy-goat goes across the bridge and the troll says he's going to gobble him up. But the billy-goat uses his horns and pushes the troll off the bridge. After that, they all were across

This story is about Three Billy Goats who were brothers, everyday they would go on their hikes. They always wanted to cross this bridge that was on their hike because the grass looked better on the opposite side where they normally walked at. It was just one problem it was troll that lived under the bridge and they was scared to go across the bridge because the troll might eat them. The Big Billy Goat came up with a plan to get them across the bridge and the plan that he came up with really worked and they were able to get across the bridge. This is a great book for children in elementary school.

Honestly, I found this a bit too scary of a fairy tale for younger children. There is some graphic violence and the illustrations a bit more revealing than the American custom. But, there is a nice heroic victory that saves this dark tale. Proceed with warning when choosing to read this to younger children.

The Tress Billy/Bully goats is a wonderful book about three mean goats. Young children would love this book and it would teach them that bullying is not good and that all bully's get what they deserve in the end. I would use this book to teach a lesson about anti bullying in schools. Its would be a fun but meaningful way to teach it.

This is an old folktale that teaches children about bullies. I read this to my field placement class and had them clap along to "Trip Trap" and they enjoyed interacting so much. It's a great book to read in the classroom when teaching about folktales. It is a different one that many children may not be very familiar with.

This was a very fun fairy tale book. I think that this book would be perfect for children and to use in the classroom. The pictures in the book are very fun and it is illustrated quite nicely. I enjoyed reading this book. It is an easy read and gives a perfect example of how evil can't triumph as long as you don't let it.

I love this story, but I didn't give it a great rating because I don't think the pictures match the feel of the text. The text is written in more classic language and the pictures have a more modern feel. This creates some inconsistencies. For example, the way the troll looks does not match the description stated. Kids would still like it, but this version is not my favorite.

Classic story told with very cute pictures. This book is about three billy goats who need to cross a bridge to get greener grass. In order to do this they have to first face a big ugly troll. Nice story to teach children about being polite and sharing.

This story teaches children not to be bullies, but also, not to let people treat you unfairly; standing up for yourself. You can get them involved by having them clap along to the "Trip-Trap", then ask them questions about the story. Overall, a book that should be on every child's bookshelf.
