So incredible to get these behind the scenes peeks into the worlds of all of Carrie Ann's series. As a CA fan, this was the ultimate treat!
Highly recommended read for fans of Carrie Ann's series. But be warned, there are subtle spoilers if you aren't completely caught up with the books that these shorts fall between (it's not enough to stop you from enjoying, though. This is a lighthearted and utterly enjoyable collection of short stories from the worlds we all know and love!).
Sassy and Ian are about to be married with Rafe at their side all to please Ian's ultra-weAlthy mother. Casey's father walks in on her and speaks horribly to her. She had left his home as soon as s he was able as he was always vile to her. A fight ensues (and the dear reader is wholly on her side) and Rafe comes in at the end and they go to another, unoccupied room where she tells him how she does not want to do this. Ian walks in and she tells him this is not what she wants, that she loves them both and wants to marry both. They take off for Ian's penthouse (both guys are indeed p evidently weAlthy) and Ian arranges for their friends, Race's parents, and the minister to meet them there so they can marry their sYstem. In addition, there are short teaser stories about some oh Ms. Ryan's other series that make the reader want to read them all.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!! Flame and Ink is a heartfelt, cozy collection that offers pure delight for longtime Carrie Ann Ryan fans. This anthology brings together bonus scenes, deleted moments, and glimpses into the everyday lives of beloved characters from the Montgomery Ink, Redwood Pack, Holiday, Montana, and Dante’s Circle series. Each story is short but full of warmth, love, and familiar chemistry. “Vowed in Ink” stands out with its emotional depth as Sassy, Rafe, and Ian face unexpected challenges on their big day. “Delicate Arrival” is tender and raw, offering a peek into Sierra and Austin’s journey into parenthood. Even the lighter tales like “Babysitting Finn and Brie” and “Edward and Pat’s Day Off” add charm and levity. This collection doesn’t introduce newcomers to the worlds effectively, but for readers who’ve walked these roads before, it’s like returning home for a warm hug.
Fantastic shout stories from quite a lot of the different genres that Carrie Ann Ryan writes about this one had the Dante Circle. It also had the Redwood series in it really enjoyed every one of them.
If you are a fan of Carrie Ann Ryan's series then you will enjoy these short, day in the life scenes. Not a full blown story, just a collection of scenes that never made it into the books. Particularly enjoyed the scenes of Edward and Pat Jamenson from the Redwood Pack series.

Vowed In Ink picked right up where Ink Reunited left off, Sassy the receptionist at Midnight Ink is about to marry the loves of her life....Rafe Chavez and Ian Steele.
But as always things didn't go as the three lovers planned, Ian's parents stepped in and took control leaving Ian, Sassy and Rafe unhappy.
Admitting their unhappiness allowed them to do what they really wanted, they couldn't let something like legalities spoil their day. They took control of their wedding and It was all worth it in the end.
A beautiful short story and free read by Carrie Ann Ryan, Ian, Sassy and Rafe are about to embark on a new journey.
This one is for the fans. If you haven’t read any of Carrie Ann Ryan’s work (WHY?) then I don’t recommend this for you. But if you have then spend the few pennies it takes to revisit with old friends and peek behind the scenes. I will warn you that reading this may inspire you to go back and re-read your favorite books.
Great way to catch up on many of our favorite Carrie Ann Ryan favorites. This just gave me the desire to jump in and read the last series of her books that I had not read yet. Course after that I will just need to read all of the series again and add these stories to them! Great shorts!
A very short but sweet story about Sassy and her loves Rafe and Ian. Loved it.
Merged review:
Flame and Ink anthologies is a collection of short stories from different series and couples. It was a great collection, loved all the short stories in one book.
I liked the couples that were included in the book, but I was hoping for a little more. It did get you caught up but needed a little more. It was like a brief chapter on each couple.
My only complaint is that it was too short! I knew it was a novella, but I wasn't prepared for it to be so short. I did love the premise, but would have loved more details on the secret wedding.
