Wow, I think Miss Late isn’t usually late, she just isn’t there. She can be 3 months behind or 6 months. She shows up 3 hours late for a friend. Who sticks around for 3 hours? I mean, that’s silly. I enjoyed the ending. She was going to a concert with a friend and she called down the stairs, be there in a minute and we know what that means.

She is able to finally get a job with Mr. Lazy. He’s always late too, so the 2 of them have the same schedule basically and it works. You have to find your people.

This is Little Miss, so the nephew hated it even with all the Mr. Men characters in it. He gave it 2 stars because Mr. Silly was in it and he does love Mr. Silly.

Another delightful story in the always popular series for kids.

I like that we instantly get to know Little Miss Late's character, celebrating Christmas a month late and spring cleaning in the summer.
Predictably she struggles to hold down a job and misses a shopping trip with Little Miss Neat.

The overriding message is that she does eventually find a perfect partnership with Mr Lazy as the pair are able work together and there's somebody for everyone.

Ah, Mr Men and Little Miss, how wonderful you are!

These books made up so much of my childhood. No matter what I would go ahead and pick one up. I worked my way through them all a couple of times. Each one has a wonderful story for the child to engage with, each character being fun to read.

Everyone has a bias for their favourite character, yet every book is delightful.

I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.

Little Miss Late celebrates Christmas one month late, spring cleaning happens three months late and summer vacation happens in December. Working at the bank, restaurant, or as a secretary doesn't work. Working for Mr. Late turns out to be a perfect fit.

I did not like this book because I do not like being late. I also did not like this book because Little Miss Late was super duper late that I couldn't believe it.

Such poignant commentary that challenges the widely accepted standard of punctuality, in a world where the ephemerality of time plagues us all… 5/5.

I had a really hard time rating this book. I thought it would be about the importance of punctuality. But I'm the end it turned into a story on how you just need to find a way that works for you. On the one hand a great message, but on the other hand it kind of downplays the importance of being punctual. And of course this is about extremes, but none the less because of that it seems a little unfocused.

While this is a good little book, it reads almost the same as an earlier book in the series, Little Miss Chatterbox. Same jobs, in the same order with the same characters. Basically the same book with a different Little Miss character.

Love how Little Miss Late is the perfect antidote to the uptight Little Miss Neat and the ideal companion for Mr. Lazy. Nonconformists, unite!

Ends kind of on a cliffhanger, but if you know the character- you already know what happens next! lol

Cute little book for children.
