What a sexy, thrilling, suspenseful, emotional ride new-to-me author, KL Donn took me on with her second book in The Protector series! When I first saw the blurb for Emily's Protector, I knew this was the book for me to read and review. It had everything I love all in one book and I'm so glad I took a chance.
I was hooked from the beginning as Emily sought out help from Maxwell Secures in finding her stalker and there she met Dane and Cooper who were assigned to protect her. Seriously, there was so much heat and chemistry between these three right from the beginning and it just got hotter and hotter as the story unfolded.
Dane and Cooper were total alpha dominant men but Emily had them completely wrapped around her finger with just a touch or look. They found the one woman who completed them and would do anything to protect her. Every time Dane called her, "baby girl" I swooned right along with Emily. I loved Emily's sassiness, determination and survival instinct because she would need it as the story reached its climax. I have to admit there were a few gut-wrenching scenes I had to just skim over due to the nature of the content.
This author has gained another reader with me and I ended up buying the first book in this series since I got to meet those characters here. I am so looking forward to reading Kennedy's story next.

This book. What in THE HELL happened? The beginning & middle had me plodding along. Happily ensconced in the verse, and then the ending... Took a major turn. I went from brainless enjoyment to 'wtf' horror. I just can't see myself reading the next book after what happened to Kennedy.

This one was much better and believable than Keeley's Fight.
The story was great about a stalker. That's why Emily needs her protectors.
I want those myself they are HOT.
And the end it breaks my heart. Not for Emily, Dane & Cooper they get their HEA but

Loved it, K.L. Don has restored my faith in the M/F/M genre. Her stories have plot and and yummy men who don't cheat once they find the girl for them that is it. Loved how Dane and Coop protected Emily and didn't rush her into the bedroom, they got to know one another and during all this they were protecting her from a crazed stalker. Can't wait for book three.

i was gifted a copy of another amazing K.l book :) write after reading Keeleys fight i needed more menage hotness and now i need more after reading emiilys protectors man what a roller coaster of emotions towards the end i was getting scared then was yelling at my kindle saying nooooo why is this happening im not going to give anything away i cant wait to see how the next book turns out .on a different note i love how kl doent have the same characterization with her characters they always have different personalities Dane and Cooper were just hot and dominate they want the same type of relationship as the maxwell brothers i still cant get over the reasoning not only because they get off on watching each other witch it really hot by the way ;) but also have the romantic aspect to it that they always have someone to take care of there woman they love if something were to happen to one of them :) they also dont try to make the other jealous and you could also see how different they were with emily during the sex scenes they always surprised each other by doing things that they never did before i always want to give the female leads big hugs because of what they go through then they have there to billed up there strength and confidence and show them the love that they deserve i also like how theirs no drama no beating around the bush ... well there is some beating around the bush ;) lol ok bake to the topic before i had a dirty thought :p but when they want to be with each other there all in and i love kls unique writing and creativity it just make me want to read more :)

Another amazing book by K.L. Donn. I loved this book so much. K.L. Donn has become a must read author on my list. She does a great job writing books that have M/F/M relationships in it. She does it in such a tasteful way that you will love it as well. Her books are not all about the sex they have, although when they do its HOT but about the relationship they have together. I seriously can't wait until the next book!! I will be waiting ever so patiently for it for sure. This is a MUST read book and a must read author!!!! Check it out today, you won't be disappointed.

Not one but two delicious protectors…
This is the second in the series and I was not disappointed!
Emily Baxter is running from a stalker that only she seems to know is real. She has cut herself off from those she loved but still she is being hunted. Looking to Maxwell Secures, this was Emily’s last-ditch effort to find someone to help her and get her life back. She needed someone to believe her. What she found was so much more….
Dane Johnston and Cooper Sheppard were brothers in all but blood. Both struck by the feelings they had for Emily from the start they were determined to protect her and win her over. Time would tell which would be the more difficult task.
I love the heat in this book, this series, as the characters and storyline are everything I want to curl up with on a rainy day. Well, any day really. I’m not a fan of insta-love but for this story I was happy to let go of that and just enjoy a really good love story. Dane and Cooper are as over-protective as they could be and just what Emily needed. Alpha to the extreme, they did it from a place of love which made it that more appealing. There is tension and suspense in equal measure to the love and heat among the three lovers which made for a riveting story from start to finish.
I can’t wait for more in this series… Please say there will be more!

There is nothing I like more than a hot ménage story and KL Donn has knocked this one out of the park. Emily has been running from her stalker for years. Every time she begins to relax he some how finds her and she's off and running. This poor girl has led a isolated life or years and it's beginning to take a toll on her. She's about ready to give up on life until she decides to seek help from a company that specializes in security. Dane and Cooper have always known that they will share a woman and when Emily walks into thier security firm they know she is the one. These two alphas are insanely hot and over the top. That Emily is one lucky girl. KL Donn does a incredible job of weaving this story with passion, intrigue, love, hot crazy bedroom action, thrills, and some scary intense scenes. Can Dane and Cooper protect Emily or will her stalker destroy her? I felt so many different emotions while reading this book. KL Donn will turn you on, excite you, scare you, make you cry big fat ugly tears, and give you the feels. Holy cow did I love this book and I loved seeing how much better her writing has become. I can't wait to see what she's going to make me feel while reading her next book

The characters that KL Donn creates feels like family to me, and I love them all even when they act all stupid. They give you no choice but to care for them, to worry about them, and to feel for them through the good and the ever so horrible. Be warned that something terrible and heartbreaking happens in here to a character we know an love, but when the tears dry up, you know that everyone will be okay because they have each other, they have a family that will do what they can to protect each other always.

I will say that I very much enjoyed Keeley's Fight. I struggled with Emily's Protectors. Dane and Cooper were too Neanderthal(ic). They came into her life and then started making demands on her about not cursing and then threatening to spank her. What threw me off was when they threatened to do this in front of another duo of Maxwell Secures investigators. The story was very much more of the same. Sex...sex...a threat from the stalker...sex...sex. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't mind sex. But, I just felt as if the connection between the trio wasn't that strong, especially beyond the physical one.
And I have to say the situation with Kennedy...OH MY GAWD...Why? Why did that need to happen. That just came out of the blue and I was not expecting that. The author does provide the warning "dark subject matter and graphic violence" but it may need to be a bit stronger to state that it could cause trigger issues for some readers. I'm not squeamish but that whole situation got me. I had to fast flip past it.
Sadly, I will be skipping Kennedy's story.

The chemistry flies out of my kindle, leading to some seriously SCORCHIN HOT, ruin your panties, sexy scenes! I really love this author's writing, and I cannot wait to read more from her!

Given an ARC for an honest review! KL Donn took me on an amazing strong emotional suspense filled journey. Emily lives in fear but underneath it all she is one hell of a fighter. She reaches out to Maxwell Secures. Enter Dane and Cooper. Holy hell these two were just screaming dominance and confidence. These three together are amazing. Heat off the charts. Emily has so much sass and I love it. Dane and Cooper have dirty mouths and even dirtier minds. They will protect Emily. The suspense in this book was simply outstanding. KL Donn showed fighter's in Keeley's Fight and now she has shown the protectors in Emily's Protectors and I am looking forward to the next one. Get your one click finger ready because I am going to have mine ready anytime KL Donn releases a book. What a bright future she has in front of her.

Loved Emily's Protecters. Dane and Cooper are super hot and protective. Emily has a stalker and it starting to break her, one person can only take so much right! Dane and Coop are sent to protect her when she calls there security firm. Can they save her from her stalker and can she accept a relationship with both them? Or will they lose her in more ways than one? Love both the books in this serious. Can't wait for the next!

Loved it
Loved the second book in this series. Some things from the first book were made more clear after reading this one, kinda filled in the blanks, like the two books were telling the same parts of the story from different POV's. Loved the characters, they were well developed and so was the plot. The pace was the same as the first book, kinda fast but that's just how these characters are. Loved the newly introduced characters as well. Can't wait for book 3.

WOW! KL Donn has done it again!! Another steamy menage with swoon worthy men! After reading book 1 Keeley's Fight I wasn't sure KL Donn would be able to it but she went above and beyond with this one. Emily's Protectors is my favorite book of 2015! I can't wait to see what she brings with book 3!

This was a great story. There were a lot of hidden elements to it. The situation at the end was incredibly sad, although set the scene for book 3, I just hope that the fun loving sister is able to overcome the adversity of what she has experienced. This element actually took the focus of the book away from Emily a little bit.

After reading the first book in this series I was really excited to jump into the 2nd book. I wasn't disappointed. Actually, I enjoyed this one even more than I did Keeleys Fight.
This author can pack in some major emotional situations. In book one I found myself more angry and shocked as I was reading. This one managed to pull out some tears. I even put my Kindle down once just to process what I had just read.
Now these characters! Our two men, Dane and Cooper, were even more badass than Nathaniel and Tyler! (Right? I didn't think that was possible either). Fiercely protective over their girl. As they should be.
Emily is going through a lot and she's been doing it completely on her own for years. She was so close to giving up. But, luckily she has two sexy as sin men who will stop at nothing to protect her.
The sexy times in this book were way off the charts. I read anywhere between 300 to 500 books a year. (No joke) from Christian romance all the way to some hardcore BDSM or Daddy kink books. Intimate scenes start to sound so repetitive. If it sounds like something I've reads hundreds of times before, I skim through it. I didn't skim a single sexy moment. Not even that particularly long, super sexy, so hot that their sweat probably evaporated, scene. It was fantastic!
My heart's beating fast just remering what happened toward the end of this book!!!!! I think I know what three MCs this next one is about.

When Em finally decides that she’s gotta get help she remembers overhearing someone mentioning Maxwell Security. She goes to them for help and protection. Her case gets assigned to Dane and Cooper. Dane and Cooper are instantly attracted to her and feel this need to possess After weeks of trying to track down her stalker without any luck, Em convinces her guys to let her do a bit of shopping. Em and Kennedy along with two bodyguards take off for the plaza. Shortly after arriving at the plaza Em gets a feeling they are being watched. Em calls Zane and Cole and they instructed to leave at once. Upon reaching the car it explodes and the girls are both missing. Racing against the clock Cole and Zane have to find and rescue the girls before they broken beyond repair or worse...will Zane and Cooper be there In time?

This was okay, the writing didn't really flow but the story was intriguing despite the unrealistic actions of the main characters, the thing I struggled with were the constant hypocritical corrections. They swore when telling her not to and I didn't like it one bit. It's one thing to tease or banter but they scolded her every time she swore like she was a goddamn child. That's exactly what my younger sister would do when she went through her pre-pre-teen prudish phase when she didn't like swearing, that is exactly what she would do aside from the sexual parts. What does not come across as hot in a book is when a participating character reminds me of my sister when she was ten. So, it pissed me the fuck off. Or am I not allowed to say that because I am female? Guess what? Girls say fuck too!

OMG ! I thought KL Donn’s first Book Keeley’s Fight in this series had my emotions reeling, this one really pushed my buttons. I never thought two men could show so much love and compassion like Cooper and Dane showed for Emily. I was so heartbroken to see what Emily goes through and what ends Cooper and Dane show for love and protection of Emily. If this book doesn’t leave you wanting more of KL Donn’s story then I don’t know what will. I thought I was in love with the first two men in this Series Ty and Nathaniel now I think and love Cooper and Dane. Or can I have all 4 please? Wow KL Donn’s stories are absolutely stunning.

I have read this book a few times. I did write a review for it but it seems to have gotten lost along the way. Because of this, I am writing another review for the book.
I liked how protective Coop and Dane were of Emily. I liked the love they had for her. The chemistry between Emily, Dane and Coop was clear to see.
The danger in this story kept me on the edge of my seat. My heart raced and wanted Emily and Kennedy to be saved – poor Kennedy.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a gripping read.
