A 2-in-1 edition of the romantic-comedy series where a student council president secretly works at a maid café!
As if being student council president of a predominantly male high school isn’t hard enough, Misaki Ayuzawa has a major secret—she works at a maid café after school! How is she supposed to keep her image of being ultrasmart, strong and overachieving intact once school heartthrob Takumi Usui discovers her double life?!
Misaki tries to get reelected as student council president, and it becomes an all-out showdown between her and Soutaro Kanou! She wants to win the spot fair and square without Usui’s help, so she distances herself from him… But in the meantime, is she finally realizing her true feelings for Usui?

Review on IG: @xojazzle IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!!! I am absolutely obsessed. This is my fav volume in the series so far! AMAZING MWAHHHH! We got such a HUGE step in misa and usui’s relationship and I couldn’t stop squealing! All the fluff, flirting, banter AHHH BLUSHING!! I absolutely love their relationship. I mentioned how in the last volume, I wish they would try to move forward in their relationship and they definitely did! There were questions of “what are we,” really good jealousy scenes, and relationship type stuff. Some of my fav scenes: misaki’s bday, the chocolate stick game!!!!, usui getting jealous, misa visiting usui and there were other great scenes. We also FINALLY get to understand some of usui’s past and I LOVE THT HE FINALLY OPENED UP TO MISA HEHE they’re so cute. There were actually a few times where I was rlly surprised as to what was happening HAHA I didn’t expect some things to happen here and I think it makes for an interesting plot and story. I cant wait to see how everything plays out. Loved this so much and can’t wait to continue the series bc I know it’s gonna get better and better!
We learn some more about Usui's past here, though I did suspect he had money. He doesn't seam as sheltered as his background makes it sound. We also get a new teacher here who is... a bit much. How is she related to Usui exactly??? And why is him being 1/4 British such a big deal?? I've read plenty of other manga with part British/ western characters and none of them make as big a deal about it ...
I remembered the library existed so I actually got to read a physical copy for this one which, as my one friend pointed out, makes me kick my feet more. And that it did, this book was adorable and I loved getting to see the characters in print!
I've finally got what I was reading for!! Misa seems a lot more forceful than I expected but it suits her so well; it's almost amusing. I'm still worried about what's gonna go down with Usui though, I need to buy the next volume fast!
Oh and shit's about to go down (si la memoria no me falla lol)
This series was SO fun! I watched the anime first and I could not stop. I binged watched it for 2 nights straight. I was constantly laughing and just loved the atmosphere of it! After watching I looked into the manga and found out it went further than the anime. I just HAD to read it! It was really fun reading it. But at one point the author was not going in the "right" direction so I had to go to the last manga and check to see if everything worked out in the end. SPOILER ALERT it did, so just hang in there ok. I do feel like the end was a bit rushed. I feel like she could have created a few more volumes with the 10yr gap. I would totally read those. I would also be up for her to do another series from Usui's point of view and story line. All in all it was a really fun read BUT I have to say half way I to it I stopped reading all the little extras and such because I just wanted to find out what was going to happen next and she wrote a LOT of extras in there. When I reread this series I'll just have to make sure I dont rush it through again lol.

While volume 9 is a bit meh for me, volume 10 is the volume where we finally get to hear Usui’s backstory, and it is slightly complicated. I’m enjoying that Misaki has finally realized that she’s frustrated with how vague Usui and her’s relationship is, and is starting to do something about it. There were some great moments between these two in these two volumes, but we can see there are going to be ramifications to the world finding out who Usui is.
this volume was soo cute.....Misaki and Usui had their first real date and it made me want to cry. ALso i loved how Misaki finally showed her girly side and put her hair up and let Usui take care of her for a change which I found adorable. When I see the food that Usui makes makes me really crave it and try and find a recipe to try it soo cute!!!!!
I liked that we finally get Usui’s backstory. The manga’s plot is moving along as feelings are being shown and our main characters are developing. We have some fun new characters. I don’t care for the rich school’s student president. I’m not looking forward to the drama he will cause to stall things but I will definitely keep reading.
Picked this back up after a little break because of a distraction with other books. This was just as good as the others. The story moves along and I just love Usui! I can't wait to see what happens next. This one begins Ayuzawa's move into really thinking about her feelings towards Usui. I am ready to keep reading so I can find out what happens!!!
I feel like we were really making progress with these two but the English teacher subplot is yuck. First the shaming they teacher and feeling like she has to protector her for some reason that I really don’t get how that’s her job. Still feel like MFC is soooo yelly and the MMC is a little too elusive to be essentially a stocker. 3.5
Team Usui foreverrrrr, forgot Hinata existed until the Sports tournament and even then i was wondering where Usui was the whole time (literally so sorry hinata) Please don’t label me as a delusional fangirl i just get him more than you do!!!

We're finally learning more about Usui! That was the highlight of the story for me. I love seeing their relationship evolve. The plot continues to thicken and I can't wait to get into the next volume.
I CANNOT stress enough how much this series makes me [chainsaw revving][drill noises][head repeatedly hitting wall] it is CRIMINAL that the anime is unfinished i would give SEVERAL organs to see these volumes animated pls and thanks (i swear im normal about this series)
