Loved it. I love Easton. He's SO sweet and precious. I know we're going to see more of Easton (Beaston) and Aviana in the other couple's books but I'd love to read more with them as the main couple.
I had just finished reading "Grey Back Broken Bear" and was left wanting just a little bit more in the sense of closure for this couple. I was so happy to have come across this book, which was basically a follow-up on the couple from "Grey Back Broken Bear". This was a short, but sweet addition to the series. I will definitely read the others in this series. I am so glad this writer generously offers so many books on kindleunlimited.
We get to see Beaston and Ana again. This story was really touching. After this one we will be using Eastons name again! It was great to see the rest of the crew also. A short but great read!
Aviana Novak, raven shifter, part of the Gray Back Crew and mate to bear shifter Easton Novak aka Beaston was hiding some life changing news from her husband and crew mates.
She was pregnant and scared to death to share the news out of concern at how Beaston would take the news since the latter voiced his fears about bringing children into the world.
Beaston thought that Aviana would leave him because of something he did so he wasn't prepare to hear what she had to say. Little did he know that she was about to tell him how she was the one that did him wrong.
Loved how the Gray Backs always stick up for each other, the news regarding Aviana's pregnancy was a delightful surprise and the best Christmas gift Beaston ever had.
Liked how Beaston got over his fears and he celebrated Christmas in a very festive way for the time in years, he wanted his Ana to have a memorable holiday.
A Beastly Christmas was well paced and beautiful, T. S. Joyce did a magnificent job.
T. S. Joyce knew how how heart broken we all were over the end of the Breck Crew, the Ash Crew, the Grayback Crew, and all the other crews including Damon Daye and Kong. I felt as though a piece of my life had come to an end. I look forward to reading about them all on a daily basis almost. Well T. S. Joyce heard us all and she gave us a early Christmas present and of course it surrounds our favorite Grizzly bear Beaston and his mate Aviana.
Aviana is keeping a secret from Beaston and the Grayback crew. A secret that could rock the whole core of the Grayback trailer park.
Beaston knows that something is wrong with his mate Aviana, but he has not idea what it is.
Will Beaston and Aviana be able survive the secret she is keeping from him? Will the Grayback crew be able to help?
You will have to read this awesome book in order to find out what is going on with Beaston and Aviana. Trust me, this is one book you do not want to miss out on. It is AWESOME!!!!
I am so happy the author decided to write another story for this series. Beaston's story is a big favorite of mine and to have my first holiday read be about him & Ana was awesome!
I don't do spoilers but I will say this novella is heartfelt & heartwarming. Although the story is about Beaston & Ana you do get a little of Willa, Damon, Creed, etc and it's always get to see them!
I think that there needs to be a book just about the babies that are coming and one for Mason of course! I hope Mason starts whispering in Ms. Joyce's ear sooner rather than later!
If you haven't read this series, please do! You will not be disappointed. Chomp, Chomp!!
I loved Beaston and Ana's story! To get a 2nd book on their love story was definitely an early Christmas present! T.S. Joyce is an amazing author with such a wonderful imagination. She pulls you in with her stories and characters! I have laughed, cried, held my breath, gotten angry, and been sad when the books came to an end! I hope to read many more of her stories over the years!!!!!!
Every single story is a winner. Somehow Beaston and his love with and for Ana is the most touching. This beautiful story is a gift for all of the authors fans. Fear of losing her as he watched his mother die in childbirth he refuses Ana what she wants most . How will she tell him she is pregnant? Even if you have not read the other series you will love this. I did
Love those two characters always learning more about each other and loving each other more. Would love to have a story about the baby births for all the ladies lol! Every one needs a little Beaston in their lives.
Another wonderful story of Easton & Aviana and can't wait for more on my favorite couple! This love story is full of heart warming & delicate love scenes that a reader would never forget.
I loved this story. I would have loved it even if it did not center around Easton. <3 Easton. Nicely written. It's a sweet holiday story that ended the series on a high note. That might not have been the idea but it definetely was the result. I really enjoyed all the stories in this series.
This is a wonderful, feel-good, sexy romance. Our hero and heroine are already together--they got together in the previous book in the series, but they are still ironing out some communication difficulties. Well, everything comes together perfectly. I enjoyed it so much!
Sweet novella that rounds out the Gray Back Crew. The H is feral, but grounded by the love he has with shy wife. But she has taken an action that he won't like. And she's right to be worried, however as always we see how much he loves her by his actions. Charming little snippet of their future.
I have been a fan of Beaston's for a long time and it was fun to see him cope with his Ana's pregnancy. Yes, he's afraid, but he's also happier than he thought possible. A sweet read.
What Is It About: Ana has been hiding something Easton but it's time to do it. He senses that she's been pulling away from him. He thinks that she's going to leave him and it might be over in the fact that he doesn't want to celebrate Christmas but her secret is much more serious than that.
What I Liked and Didn't: I don't know what's happened with Easton and Ana but, for some reason, the relationship between the two of them just seemed so stilted. There were no real happy moments shown before Ana drops the news. Easton still comes across as his sweet, caring self but this book made me not really like Ana. I understand that Easton doesn't want a family because he believes she will die in childbirth. But the fact that she stops taking her pill so that she gets pregnant just makes it sound like she was trying to trap or trick him into it. I find it kind of selfish to do that so it made me dislike her a fair bit. Because of how short the book is, that's the sole plot and I don't particularly consider it a spoiler because her secrets pretty obvious from the start.
Final Thoughts: The two stars for this book are based solely on my love of Easton. I feel like Ana's pregnancy could have been better in a better way and even written in a different book. I'm just confused as to why this book exists at all. To me, it just seemed that Joyce wanted to announce that Ana's pregnant and then needed to bulk up the rest of the book so the rest was full of ramblings. Would I recommend it? Nah, even if you love the series I'd say skip this and just go on to the Boarlander series. Will I be carrying on the series? Sure, I've enjoyed the other crews so I'll give the Boarlanders a shot.
I hate that the author decided the best plan was for Easton's mate to stop taking birth control without telling him so she could get pregnant. Then when she does she's so upset about telling him she makes him think he is a horrible mate by crying and ignoring him. They never even talk about her wanting children. The conversation they had could have been had before. Or at the very least she could have chosen the option to tell him she wasn't going to take the pills and left it up to him whether they had sex or not. Then a bunch of the others all make it out like he's overreacting and this is a good thing. No one cares she didn't give him any choice, Creed even goes so far to say she did the right thing.
" 'Any other couple, I'd say she handled it wrong, but Aviana knows how to manage you better than anyone.' " [...] " 'And you, my friend,' Creed said, arching his gaze to Beaston, 'should be proud of your woman for going after what she really wants.' "
No, he shouldn't be "proud" she went behind his back to stop taking her birth control because she wanted a kid and what he wanted didn't matter. As a fucking adult in a relationship she should have been up front with him about what she wanted and needed from him. He did everything he could to make her happy.
This is the seventh book in this series. This is a novella that goes with the series it can be read as a standalone however it is better read with the series. This book focuses mainly on Ana and Easton. Easton hasn’t celebrated Christmas since his parents died. Ana wants to make it a Christmas to remember. But, she has been hiding something from her mate Easton and now she is worried about how he will react when she tells him her news. I must say that Easton and Ana are probably my favorite couple so far. I loved this book. I understand why Ana did what she did and why she hid it. I feel for Easton during this book. He wants so badly to make Ana happy and now he worries that he has done something wrong. He worries the he isn’t enough for her and is overthinking almost everything. He is going to be so surprised by what Ana tells him and once he comes to terms with it so extremely happy. Loving this series more and more with each book. I can’t wait to start the next series in the Damon’s mountain series (The overall series). I love T.S. Joyce.
Quick Info Standalone/Cliffhanger?: Standalone Part of a Series?: Yes POV: Aviana and Beaston ---------------------------------- Meeting the Characters Beaston - a 'broken' grizzly shifter mated to a raven Aviana - Beaston's raven mate. She saved him from death. ---------------------------------- What happens? This is a stop gap book between this and another book where their baby is born. I've read the next book a while ago but left this for Christmas. Reading Christmas books when it isn't Christmas is just a no go atm. Basically its a novella so not much happens. You are not required to read this its just a nice addition. Aviana tells Beaston she is pregnant with their baby but she got pregnant by stopping contraception without discussing him. Take that what you will but its done with love. Final thoughts Sweet book. Makes me love Beaston all the more. Would I read again?: Yes Would I read this author again?: Yes

Aviana is about to make this a Christmas Beaston and the Gray Backs will never forget.
Easton has been trying so very hard to keep his beast under control, and with his love Ana at his side he is slowly loosing that “Beaston” name. But now something is wrong with Ana, she’s hiding something from him – he can tell. His biggest fear that he’s done something wrong is coming true and his control is slipping.
Ana is keeping a secret from her love. It truly is a wonderful secret, but she’s afraid that Easton won’t feel that way once he knows the truth. She has to tell him, she’s waited too long as it is – now she can only hope that their love is strong enough for what their future holds.
A Very Beastly Christmas was the absolute best Christmas reading gift I got. To finally see the future for one of my favorite characters, and to see it as shiny and bright as it will be was such a treat. There were moments in this story where I had to stop reading for a moment as my eyes were too bleary from happy tears. Yeah, it was that good. It’s very easy to guess what all the excitement is about… and one of the last scenes in this story will simply grab your heart.
One of the best gifts, definitely. No matter what time of year, if you’ve followed the Gray Back Bears and haven’t yet read this Christmas tale I would encourage you to do so, and soon. A loving touch, a special surprise for a man who has been through so very much to find his happiness with his Ana and now their future. Priceless.
Absolutely recommend this Christmas tale for anyone who loves a truly happy ending.
I read this story through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
I firmly believe these books are so much better read in the DAMONS MOUNTAIN UNIVERSE order. I had read these books years ago all except the Boarlanders series which I am doing this time. Of all the books I have read in this Damon’s Mountain Universe and I have read nearly all of them now, this one tugs my heart strings so much. Easton, known as Beaston, really has changed and settled for the better and this next step in his life proves that. Aviana may have been wrong in doing what she did but Beaston would never have agreed, due to his traumatic childhood. Knowing who their child is and how his story plays out is a wonderful gift after reading how much Beaston has grown and how strongly he loves. Read through Kindle Unlimited with a new review being posted.
In A Very Beastly Christmas, the seventh book in the Gray Back Bears series, we revisit Easton and his little raven shifter and mate Ava. I have a huge soft spot for Easton and major respect for his ability to have survived the childhood he did all alone. I resent Ava a little bit for taking so long to get him help when he was younger, so I was a little miffed to learn she had deceived him. It all works out in the end of course, but I hated that he was stressed at all. He’s genuinely a good man and will do anything for those he cares about.
It was nice getting glimpses of some of the other characters from this series and seeing everyone happy.
I LOVE every single book by this author, who is my current favorite, as I make my way though this series. I haven’t been leaving reviews other than 5* because each one would sound the same, about how much I FREAKING LOVE this author/ series. Although most books could be read as a stand alone, I feel like you wouldn’t get the most from the story and need to read the entire series in order. Every single book has brought tears to my eyes at one point or another and this book is no different. Beaston is back and is so sweet I wish I could just hug him😍 every book in this series with make you laugh and make you cry…these are definitely the best book boyfriends you could possibly find, ever!
Another fantastic story about Beaston. He is one of my all time faves of this series and this little novella made me cry 3 flipping times. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 was because there wasn't much to the story. I wanted more in terms of the Christmas gathering. I wanted to know what people gifted each other....etc... It ended too soon.
