Jacob never wanted an android, but when one ends up in his apartment thanks to his friend Sharon, an award winning android engineer, he decides to try it out anyway. At least the machine will look and act like his ideal man, right?

“Scott. We've matched you with another alpha.”
Sharon, his caseworker, didn’t look happy. Usually she would be bubbling at this point, singing the praises of whatever new asshole he was being paired with. As if it mattered. In a few weeks they’d be right back here, his new alpha returning him and demanding a suitable replacement. Like it was his fault he didn’t want some meathead knotting his virgin ass.
Knotting - contrary to the propaganda spread by the alpha elite - hurt like a bitch. Scott might not have first hand experience to back that assertion up, but he’d talked to enough mated omegas to know that it wasn’t a fun experience. That being filled and claimed was excruciating.
“OK? Tell me about him. Does he rescue puppies? Does he save cats from tall trees in his free time?” he asked sarcastically, giving his attempts to get out of the cuffs one more go. Sharon looked down, a frown pulling the corner of her mouth down.
“No. His name is Jared Wood, he’s thirty years old, and he’s not at all suitable. I have no idea how his application was accepted… but it was and now you’re facing the consequences of your stupidity.”
“What?” Scott was confused.
“They’re not going to waste any more time with you, Scott. Jared is a Class A alpha. He’s your last stop.”

Two short stories of comeuppance. The first sci-fi story - an arrogant billionaire didn't fully read the instructions on his new android. The second omegaverse story - a bratty omega didn't stand a chance with a Class A alpha.

Hi everyone, Its Christopher the reader here, the book we are here to talk about tonight is My Android Alpha / Alpha Stud on Cam. This was my 2nd read of D.J. Heart's. The first book that I read was 'Bound to the Alpha' which I rated 8.9. I borrowed and returned this book with my membership on Kindle Unlimited. I do think that I would buy a copy for my kindle and write an even more in-Deth review of the two stories maybe some time in the future. I first read this book in September of this year (2022), it took me a day to finish reading. The book is rated for adult readers. 'My Android Alpha / Alpha Stud on Cam' was first published on the 25th of November in 2014. The first story was told using first person with it following Jacob's point of view and the 2nd story was told using third person following Jared's and Scott's point of view. all together the book had 80 kindle pages.
- I think that the book had some good place and character detail, I feel that the two stories that was within this book introduces us, the reader to the story pretty well. I liked how fast that we got to know the characters, what type of person that they were, their personalities. I liked the two stories; I loved the science fiction side of it. I did find the first story 'My Android Alpha' to be a pretty creepy read. Personally, I do think that I liked 'Alpha Stud on Cam' better than the first story. In the first story there is a person called 'Sharon' who is the main characters (Jacob) friend and in the 2nd story there is also person by the same name who is one of the main characters (Scott) caseworker. I do think that each of the two stories can be read as a stand-alone and that you don't need to read them in any order to enjoy them. While reading the first story I did find a few mistakes with some words and with the 2nd story there was some missing words in some sentences but that was all.
- I would love to read a sequel for the 2nd story and maybe find out what their relationship looks like further on down the road for them. I would like it if this book got turned into an audible book as I feel like I could enjoy it more if I could listen and read along to it.
For each Book that I read, I rate it out of 10 so for this am going to give it a 7. Remember this was what I thought about the book personally and I suggest that you give it a go for yourself.

Three stars overall, but really 2 stars for the first story and 4 stars for the second.
*My Android Alpha was sort of creepy to me. With all this talk of AI, I was uncomfortable reading about a robot who took over a guy's life and started to boss him around.
*Alpha Stud on Camera was more in keeping with the typical D.J. Heart book. I love the Alpha/Omega relationship where the omega is so turned on by the Alpha. I would love to read a full length book with Scott and Jared.

Mixed feelings

Not good, not bad. Killed a few hours. The second story wasn’t as bad as the reviews said. I actually liked it better than the Android story which to me was creepy.
