Completed this reading for a summer school course in 2022. I appreciated the review of fundamental ideas on health and wellness.
We also watched the video The Skinny on Obesity.
Our world kinda has a problem with food, health, and wellness.

Fit & Well is an informative and user-friendly resource for beginners or those looking to brush up on the basics of fitness and wellness. While it may not satisfy more advanced or specialized audiences, it provides a clear, structured approach to understanding the essential concepts of physical fitness and healthy living.

Far too much information for the average reader or college student in a required fitness class. I can understand this being for a fitness-related major. The material itself is good. There is simply too much extra information for the everyday person or exhausted college student.

The chapters on stretching, exercise/weight training and disease prevention were probably more like 4 star. I will probably continue to reference the stretches. I liked the 3-4 chapters less than the rest.

It was usefull to help me understand how to work my many muscle groups, how to corectly use free weights and resistance training. The charts were removeable so I could copy them and keep a running record of my progress.

Introduction to Wellness and Fitness. The book had some good information, but it was sometimes a bit cheesy.
