This has plenty of recipes for healthy meals - low in saturated fat & calories and high in fiber and other good stuff. I can't say yet if they're high in flavor as well, but I've marked off several to try and will update this review after I've made them. I've given the book 4 stars for the volume of easy-to-digest information about healthy eating habits that precedes the recipes, and the fact that the recipes are clearly written, and appear to use simple ingredients that most folks will have on hand in their pantries. Even if you don't have dietery concerns spurring a change in your eating habits, it makes sense to make tasty meals that contribute to your continuing good health.
Everything I've tried from this book has been delicious. The tomato tarragon tuna salad will be part of my regular repetoire from now on. My husband didn't like the oven-fried chicken, but I thought it was fantastic and tasted exactly like I hoped it would. The pictures are gorgeous, and the layout and peripheral info is clear and helpful. The recipes are innovative but still simple and appropriate for everyday use. I plan to buy this one.
