Jim Murray writes about whiskey with a real passion, so I was thrilled when he did a book dedicated solely to Irish whiskeys. Genuinely informative. It’s a compact little handbook - I’ve taken it drinking with me when I’ve hit some of the specialist whiskey bars that now dot the country.
My only issue is that I cannot understand why he liked Powers so much…
