Another book I found unread on my shelves.
I enjoyed it immensely.
The mystery for the most part takes place in an old people's home near Toronto.
An elderly resident is concerned as his roommates keep dying. Not that this is not expected in such a location but he worries that the staff are telling him lies about how they died.
Only when the killer pays him a visit are his fears realised and only his quick mind thrawts his end.
But who will believe him ? And maybe he is going senile.
The main character is a cantankerous old fool adrift in a situattion he has no control over.
But there is a danger and it is one that has been known to be all too real.
It brings you insight into a tragic world of a Residential Home for the Elderly, where visitors are few and drugs keep them calm and manageable and a feeble old man shows what his keen mind can accomplish, when he finds someone to love.
