What a sweet read. I loved it! These kinds of books are perfect for a quick break and leave you with a happy feeling.
The plot is exactly as described in blurb. This story can be read as a stand alone but to avoid confusion it's better to read the first one, too. I really liked all characters and it was great to see the couple from previous book again. Slade and Gretchen are a perfect match and can't seem to keep their hands of each other. Loved Slade's possessive and caring side and of course Gretchen's fun and quirky personality.

"Kitty finds his wolf mate!"
Oh You can not help but love R.e Butler books!. She is an amazing writer!. I have so much fun reading her books!. She has such an awesome sense of humor it shows in her writing!. This book is one of the examples!. The story line is funny and sweet and quirky!. This series is about four siblings Alaric,Slade,Galen and Lia who are on a quest to find their true mates. The siblings are Saber tooth tiger shifters they are the last of their kind. They Joined the National werefighting Association NWFA to travel to find their mates. When they stop in at the town of Belle Terra Alaric found his mate in human Aubrey. Aubrey is the Sister of the towns Master Vampire Caleb. Aubrey works at Calebs Supernatural hotel and lives there. So after her and Alaric mate she lines up for all of them to stay at the hotel. This is where Slade meets his Feisty mate werewolf Gretchen who is Aubrey's Bf. When Slade gets an eye full of his mate he passes out lol. Then when he comes to he can not stop his shift into his tiger!. So now they have a Saber tooth Tiger in the hotel lobby lol. As I said R.e has an amazing sense of humor!. Now that the two older brothers found their mates its time for Galen to find his. Normally they have dreams of their mate that gives them hints to their true mate is , but all Galen dreams about is the colors Pink and Gold lol. You will so love this sweet and funny five star plus plus Romance!

I read this story in Paranormal Ever After and loved it ! I found that I have this and the other books 1,3 & 4 in this series in my library and look forward to read them and her other books.

When he comes to, he realizes that he's found his mate, Aubrey's best friend Gretchen, a wolf shifter. Gretchen is a sassy mouthed red head who can't believe her luck in finding such a sexy mate. For the saber family, getting mate dreams and finding their mates happen in chronological order, oldest to youngest and since Slade found his mate, Galen is super excited to finally get his mate dreams, except...poor Galen, somehow Lia is up next and I can't wait to read her and Aubrey's older brother, Caleb's story.

I liked the first one in this series because despite the usual in this genre of making the h give up everything and follow her "mate" that so annoys me, the Author didn't fall into that trap.
Sadly that did not carry through into this story, suddenly we want the little woman to sit at home and give up working as soon as they achieve their purpose for existing and produce young.

A fun fast read
It was a fun fast read with 2 horny mates. Lots of mating happening. Too short of a read is my biggest complaint because I enjoy the couple. Gretchen's grandma of hilarious. Her alpha is ridiculous just rude and ridiculous with his mentality. Slade passing out and shifting was epic!
Lia's reaction at the end.. priceless!

A good shifter-romance story in the series. Can be read as a standalone, may work better if read in order to allow the setting and context to broaden. Still a good, quick read that’s heavy on spice, light on plot. I read as part of the compilation Paranormal Ever After as an advance reader copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

You will fall in love with all the characters in this book. Especially Lia and Galen. They say and do the most outrageous things. As always the sex scenes are amazing and hot. Excellent reading.

Book 2 Slade's feisty mate
Slade was the 2nd oldest in the saber toothed were tiger family. He and this family walks into the supernatural hotel. His eyes lock with the She-Wolf named Gretchen and he passes out and his saber tooth takes over . Good thing Gretchen knew what was going on because any other women might have freaked out.
Not Gretchen she is feisty but she never thought her wolf would end up with a kitty. Lol great hot story. I loved it.

Ms. Butler is a fabulous storyteller, she makes you feel as you are a character in the story. The description feels so real as if you have stayed multiple times in the hotel. The storyline is one that continues to compels you to keep turning page after page until you are finish with the story. Also I love when the story keeps you smiling and laughing as you read. The story is also mind-blowing, charming, fascinating and steamy hot as it draws you into this passionate romance. The characters are strong, captivating, sensual, attractive and full of your steamy fantasies as their chemistry heats and burns the pages. Their natures are witty, fiesty and do the sparks fly. The plot is fast paced but flows smooth and is well written. As I said there is a few laughs that will capture your imagination with lots of passion. The excitement of the characters dialogue is alluring, fetching and charismatic.

Usually Sabers have mate dreams that lead them to their Soulmate. Slade never got the chance to have his hot and steamy mate dreams. The night he walks into his brothers new mates hotel and sees Gretchen he passes out cold. When he wakes up is to find that Gretchen is his Soulmate. Gretchen is Aubrey's girlfriend and co-worker. She is also a wolf shifter. When she meets Slade she knows he's meant to be her truemate. Just when Galen thought he'd be next since he is next oldest he has one mate dream and wham Lia turns into her cat at a club accidentally. Had she found her mate ahead of Galen? This is book two of a great series. Sabers, yeah, you read correctly sabers aren't extinct, there is one family of siblings left. Alaric, the eldest just found his truemate after a year of matedreams. Did Slade get cheated? Slade just saw Gretchen and –well I think you need to read it to enjoy his immediate reaction—no spoiler. I will say it didn't take him long. Do wolves and saber tooth tigers (they are cats) get along? All I can say is if you can see through the steam you will get your answer.
This is another short story in the series, each is complete but you are gonna want to read them all. Gretchen and Slade know immediately who they are to each other. It doesn't take long to act on it. Another love story with little angst but caring a family loyalty and happiness shared.
My recommend and I am on to book 3.

Slade is the second to the oldest and ready to have his mate dreams. It didn’t quite happen the way we thought it would, how about passing out and turning into a sabertooth tiger the second he laid eyes on his mate. Gretchen is doing a favor for her best friend, who just happen to find her perfect match in a sabertooth shifter. She was at the shifter hotel, waiting for his siblings to arrive when in walks her perfect match. Being a wolf shifter, she knew all about shifting, but was she surprised that it was a giant cat. This is such a good love story. You can read it alone, but I highly recommend reading these books in order so you get a feeling of what that family of shifters is about. The four sabertooth shifters are the last of their kind, and are ready to find their other halves. But it is your surprise and who is next.

Short sweet romance
This was a very short story about a sabre tooth tiger shifter meeting his fated mate. There was no action or any kind of controversy in this story, but the characters were interesting and I keep feeling that maybe there will be more of a storyline in future books. This is book 2 of what appears will be a 4 book series. These are not serials, each book has a HEA and no cliffhanger. But I get impressions that the last sabre tooth tiger brother may have more to deal with. Apparently he will be book 4. We finally get to meet the master vampire in book 3. I am looking forward to that as we keep getting references to him in the first 2 books, and he sounds like an intriguing character.

Charm and sizzle draw the reader into this passionate romance as Gretchen decides that being mated to a tiger might not be so bad after all. The characters are strong, charming and full of steamy desires as their attraction heats up the pages and their feisty natures send sparks flying in every direction and quite a few chuckles in this fast paced, smooth flowing and well written plot that capture the imagination with lots of excitement and passion.
